*Doien was sitting on the steps, alone, watching the sun sink over the horizon and twilight set in. He had been so jealous of James being with Rgue...and now he was in the same situation. He loved Cecelia. But he really liked Rogue too.* "Stupid girls..." *He muttered under his breath, his chin resting in his hand with his elbow on his knee. In the current light, he looked more like a marble statue than a human.*

((OOC: Although it's really obvious that this can only go one way lol.))

Cecelia wobbled up behind him with her cute little preggo belly protruding slightly from under her pink shirt. and wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Which girls are you referring to my love?" she asked in a voice so sweet it could send tingles down a spine.

*Dorien shrugged as he looked over to her.* "Oh...I don't know....girls in general." *He murmered. Dorien had decided it woud probably be one of the stupidest mistakes of his very long life if he were to tell chi-chi about Rogue. Dorien moved over a little so that cecelia could sit nex to him and he went back to staring at the sunset in the same carved marbel way.*

Cecelia smiled and gave his cheek a kiss. "Well now I'm here and I'm not stupid so you have to smile." From behind her back she pulled out a small pink flower. She brushed it across his cheek and smiled. "This is for you my love. You can't taste but I know you can smell."

*Dorien sat up straight and took the flower from her hand. He twirled it between his thumb and forefinger. Dorien brought it up to his nose and gently inhaled it's fragrence* "It's lovely but...." *He leaned over and tucked it behind chi-chi's ear.* "It looks better on you."

rogue had been out by herself alone for quite sometime. she hadn't really had the chance to e by herself since she started the resistance with kiley. she was outside just taking in the day. she was turning the corner of the house when she saw dorien. she couldn't see ceccelia since dorien was sitting beside her and blocking the view. rogue smiled and started over.
"HEY!....."
she began as cecelia came in to view. she caught the kiss and the flower. she also noticed the girl was quite pregnant. the smile slightly wavered from her face.
"hi"
she said keeping her distance. looking from the pregnant girl to dorien. she smiled at cecelia.
"hi i'm rogue."
she said in a friendly matter. rogue was always this way with everyone she met.

*Dorien's head snapped up when he heard Rogue shout out to him. His stomach did a backflip or seven as she came closer.* "Cecelia, this is Rogue....Rogue, Cecelia....." *He watched Rogue's facial expressions closely to try to figure out what exactly she was thinking.*

Cecelia smiled and waved. "I would get up and greet you but little miss Bianca Hurt is weighing me down." She giggled and waved. "I've heard of you in passing but I don't know that I've ever seen you." She shrugged and rubbed her stomach gently. "Are you and Dorien close friends?" she asked, leaning her cheek against his chest.

rogue felt like crying. this was why she never got close to anyone. watching cecelia being all lovey with dorien. her face never wavered from the smile. she walked over to where cecelia sat. staying as far from dorien as possible.
"it's ok i'll come to you. i've seen you around the school when i was attending but we've never met before. well dorien ad i are friends, not good friend just friends though. how many months are you?"
she asked feeling a lump form in her throat.

She leaned in and gave her new friend a small hug. "Eight months. I should pop any second. I'm pretty excited." She bit her lower lip, her hand going back to take Dorien's. "She's a miracle baby. We didn't think he could have kids but lo and behold." She gently touched her stomach. "I'm having a baby shower soon and I would be absolutely delighted if you came!" Disliking Cecelia was always hard because no matter what the circumstance, she was always sweet as candy.

rogue couldn't say no. she was always the type who was friendly towards everyone until they made the choice of having her as an enemy. hugging cecelia lightly and feeling the belly she smiled as if everything was right in the world.
"i'd...i'd like that."
she said softly looking at her belly then avoiding looking at dorien.
"is it a boy or girl?"
she asked warmly. she remembered her pregnancy. she would pick something up for the baby and hopefully make a quite exit. hopefully cecelia wouldn't be staying at the resistance HQ. that would be difficult for rogue to over come.

Cecelia smiled sweetly. "A girl. Bianca Jade Ferrari-Hurt." She smiled. "I'll be getting to know you pretty well I gather. I'm moving in with Dorien, into Headquarters. I hope we can be friends...I don't have many since I can't really keep contact with my old friends, and you seem really nice."

rogue felt a real warmth spread and did agree with cecelia. they would beome friends. she just hated the fact that she knew dorien more than the girl expected. that hurt her even more. nodding her head.
"i hope we will since you seem nice also. i'm sure kiley would like to meet you to."
she said with a warm smile.
"we're really close here in the resistance. the only one to look out for is harshing. the bloody b*****d."
rogue said trying to not sound so hurt. dorien had never told rogue of cecelia or the baby.
"bianca will be a lovley child i can tell."

Chi-Chi smiled. "I know Kiley well. I'll be glad to be with people again." She looked at Dorien. "With people that actually eat! Gosh..." She rolled her eyes. "I love to eat Rogue. His family...I've been with his family for the past eight months. I was so hungry." She chuckled. She touched her stomach. "She kicked!" She pulled his hand to her stomach.

rogue laughed. she saw chi-chi pull doriens hand to her stomach and wanted to feel too. she kept her hands to herself. dorien han't said one word to her since introducing them. rogue hoped he was in misery. if he coud even feel misery.
"well i LOVE to eat too. we could grab something together sometime."
which she really ment was cecelia and her. not including dorien. she would do her best to avoid him from now on. she would be civil towards him.

Cecelia smiled and leaned over to take her new friend's hand. "She's a monster!" She giggled, putting Rogue's hand where Dorien's had just been. "Just like her daddy." She giggled and brushed her long hair from her face. "I'd love to go to eat with you sometime. Just the girls." She smiled lightly.

tears sprang to rogues eyes when she felt the baby kick. she kept her hand there feling the little baby inside chi-chi's womb. she remembered sitting in a rocker at her stepmothers house in the attic. singing and rubbing her belly. quickly whiping her eyes with the back of her free hand she laughed weekly.
"sorry....i get so mushy about things like this."
she said trying to cover up her hurt with a smile.

She smiled and nodded. "I'm like that too... I sit by myself sometimes and just feel the baby kick.. It's a beautiful thought. Me and Dorien created a life together...It's a bond the three of us will share together and nobody can change that." She smiled, thinking of the 'Nobody' as The Family.... She closed her eyes and put her hands on her stomach softly. "It's just the three of us now, you know? I just feel so lucky that I have someone that would kill and die for me when many people just fear for their lives right now..."

rogue smiled.
"i know what you mean."
rogue stepped back and then leaned down and gave cecelia a light hug.
"i'm sure kiley will be looking for me by now. i've been gone for quite a while. i best be off."
she rubbed chi-chi's belly.
"whenever you feel up for a late night snack or just hungry and wanna talk to a girl just let me know and i'm there."
she said with a smile. she really did like cecelia and hoped the best for her and dorien.

She smiled and nodded, patting her new friend on the back. "Of course. I need a girl to talk to." She watched the girl stand up. "I didn't even ask..do you have a boyfriend too? We could have a little double date. I would love that! We never really got the chance to do much real couple stuff before I had to go off..."

rogue smiled at cecelia.
"it's kind of hard to say......there was someone but he never asked me out. we like each other but he never said anything. maybe we can do a double date."
she said knowing that james probably wouldn't like the double date thing.she gave a smile even though it was somewhat tense.
"i'll talk to james about it."
like i would go anywhere from now on with that beast
she thought to herself about dorien. she would like to get out though and have some innocent fun like when she was in school.
"goodbye dorien."
she said grinding her teeth. then waving at chi-chi.
"see you later cecelia."
she said with a genuine smile.

Cecelia waved back. "Who knows, maybe you and the mystery boy can be in our wedding." She smiled and yawned. "I've been planning it since I left and I need people in my wedding! We'll be great friends I'm sure, so you'll be in it."

((OOC: Dor, we need to talk about the wedding.))

rogue nodded her head as she continued to walk away. why did she feel so miserable. dorien never said he wanted to be with her. he probably used her for fun while cecelia was away.
and he tried saying i used him while james was away!
she thought angrily. she kicked a rock wich turned out bigger than she expected. hurting her foot but still continued to walk away. tears forming and slipping down her cheek.

*Doien had listened to the conversation in dread the entire time. He had watched the hurt and anger play across Rogue's face and it killed him. Dorien stood and kissed Chi-chi- on the top of the head* "I'll be right back....I just need to ask Rogue something...." *Without waiting for an answer, Dorien took off across the yard, easily catching up to her* "Hey....Rogue...wait...." *He was sure not to speak loud enough that cecelia would hear...but he really felt the need to talk to Rogue.*

rogue stopped and turned towards him. she raised and eyebrow. all the emotion from earlier all the pain, anger, sadnees, and gulit was drained away. now all she felt was a great big nothingness a void in her feelings. crossing her arms and shifting from foot to foot she waited for him to say what he had to say.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Cecelia." *He said, feeling defeated already.* "I'm sorry if I hurt you...." *He waited for a responce from her before continuing. Dorien looked down at the ground then back up at Rogue, his eyes pleading with her.*

Cecelia strained her ears as best she could to hear what they were talking about. She sensed that they had a past of sorts but unfortunately her hearing wasn't as good as it could have possibly been so she couldn't hear much of anything. Except crickets. She hated crickets.

rogue shrugged.
"it's fine dorien."
rogue threw her arms out to the sides.
"so you didn't tell me you had a girl or that she was pregnant."
rogue almed herself and kept her voice lowered.
"it doesn't matter. nothing was going to come of us anyways."
it hurt rogue to say what she was saying but to keep him away. to keep her feelings hidden she had to be brutal.
"what happened between us was a mistake. i hope you have a great life dorien."
rogue said not looking at him.

*Dorien was quiet for a moment. His brow furrowed and he looked away off into the night.* "I'm sorry Rogue...and it's not fine." *He looked back at her and lowered his voice even more* "I do like you, Rogue." *It hurt terribly to hear her say that, but he tried to block off his feeling, at least untill the end of this conversation.*

"no"
she began to back away from him.
"you have a great fiance, and a baby on the way too."
it hurt her to say this. but she smiled hoping to seem like she was ok.
"i'll be fine dorien. go be with cecelia..."

*Dorien looked at her helplessly. He wanted to tell her that he wanted her to stick around so that they could talk. There was so much he wanted to tell her.* "If it makes you happy...." *He said quietly, looking at her sadly.*

rogue wanted to stay and to talk but right now it hurt too much to even think about him with another girl.
"dorien i like you too, but i can never compare to cecelia."
she looked up at him with all the feelings inside of her. trying to show him how much she had started to care about him.

"What do you mean?" *He asked quietly, his brw furrowing.* "Why would you say that?" *He glanced over his should to look at Cecelia, then back to Rogue questioningly*

"because she's beautiful, nice, and going to have your baby.i could never compare to that life dorien."
she stepped back again.
"you obviously love her."
she was trying to convince herself of it. trying not to get her hopes up that thee might be a chance for them.

*Dorien sighed and looekd away from Rogue* "You're beautiful and nice....and yes she's having my baby...and I love her." *He looked back at Rogue.* "But....I like you Rogue....so please don't walk away and leave, Rogue..."

rogue looked at dorien.
"you want me to stay?"
she shook her head.
"i....i can't. i can't sit there with you two and pretend to be happy. not right now dorien,"
she was now struggling to not cry. he expected her to sit there with them and be the third wheel.

*Dorien sighed again.* "Just.....I really want to talk to you later.....So please don't leave...ot like leave now...but leave in general." *He said, just to clarify.* "Okay? will you please just hear me out sometime?"
