Title: doriens room
rogue winters - October 20, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
rogue knew she shouldn't have came here. she took the stairs quickly coming to a dead stop at a door which was cracked open so she could see in. silently peeking in she saw he was thankfully not there. she stepped forward and pushed the door all the way open. tears gathered in her eyes as she looked around. james was missing. or avoiding her once more. she hadn't seen him in days. since she told him she felt the same as him. looking around the room she could tell the place had been empty for a day or two. she walked in and over to his bed. sliding her hand along over the sheets. her cloak gahered in her hands. she walked over to his dresser. she couldn't tell if he stayed here or not. there was hardly any sign of him. she had been waiting for word from ian to say if the plan was a go or not. slowly circling the room she came to a rocking chair with a half knitted blanket laying on it. thats right he had said cecelia had left once more. turning to leave she reached into her pocket. pulling out a silver chain with a intracate cirle on it. it was a celtic symbol of peace that she had picked up on one of her trips to ireland. on the back she had magicaly engraved doriens name on it. it would only show when he touched it. she laid it on his pillow. then quickly whiped the tears away that began to fall. once she did this she fled back up the stairs. hopefully he would get this after she left with ian. she had a feeling he was going to try and leave without her. she would be waiting though.
Dorien Hurt - October 20, 2007 05:57 PM (GMT)
*Dorien quietly walked into the basement through the back downstairs door. His eyes were still that cold hard black. He had been depriving himself of food. Dorien held in his hand a folded letter from his sister alice. She was beggnig im to think clearly and come home instead of his planned destination: northern russia. He lightly tossed the paper in a trash can and sighed. When he inhaled, his sences sharpened and he glanced around. Rogue had been here. He walked to his room annd glanced around. He spotted a necklace and the blanket. Ignoring the blanket, he walked to the necklace and picked it up, twirling it around in his hand. Dorien heard a floorboard creek above him. He ascended the stairs quiettly, exausted from the lack of food. By the time he reached russia he could quietly climb into a grave and sleep for a few hundred years. Well, reach the closest substitute for sleep that a vampire could. He wore all black, prepared for traveling at night. Dorien pushed the door open, still holding the celtic symbol clasper in his hand. The sun hit his skin and it stung, another side effect from not eating. He backed into a darker corner in the kitchen. As he did, he saw Rogue and stopped, just looking at her silently*

rogue had a small knap sack with her. Still whiping at the tears in her eyes. if the plan went off like she thought it would. there would be trouble. taking a small loaf of bread and two bottles of butter beer she shoved them in her sack. it looked as if she was about to leave for awhile. she didn't notice dorien but she did feel a prickling on the back of her neck. she knew she was being watched but didn't know who or from which area of the house they were watching her from. going about her business as she thought it might be harshing. getting his perverted kicks off of watching her. she knew she wasn't the best looking girl around, but with harshing you never knew. she bit her tounge as she held back an insult. waiting for the person watching her to either come forward or disappear. she thought about turning around and going back to retrieve the necklace.
no i want him to have it. as a token of my affection.
she was also on the verge of tossing everything she had right now out the door and going out to find him, but the resistance came first.
Dorien Hurt - October 21, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)
"Where are you running off to?" *He asked quietly. Dorien knew that he couldn't let her go on about her buisness, unaware of his presence. It was too much like hunting, and if he got in that mindset, he could loose control, espically because of how hungry he was. Dorien leaned against the wall, slipping the necklace into his pocket*
rogue winters - October 21, 2007 03:12 PM (GMT)
rogues movements stilled. dorien had stepped forward and had let it be known that he was the one watching her intently. turning around and shrugging her shoulder.
"not sure yet.."
she said half in truth. she planned on walking out of here with ian and into the enemy territory.
"whats it matter to you."
she said softy. it was more of a statement instaed of an angry lashout. dorien had been gone for a few days and hadn't even tried contacting her. the way she saw it. he had his life set and she was just making trouble. her eyes glanced at his hand in which he had the necklace and was being put away. then glanced away.
Dorien Hurt - October 21, 2007 03:18 PM (GMT)
*Normally, Dorien would have looked at her and smiled his cooked smile, glanced away, and then look back to respond to her question in an attempt to lighten the mood. But he didn't. He just kept watching her, no expression evident on his facial deatures* "I'm leaving as well. And if you were going to where I was, I would have changed my course so that you wouldn't have to travel with me." *It stung a little to say it, but he kept his expression controlled and detached* "But if you don't know, then I guess you'll have to take that chance. However, I doubt that you're going where I am."
rogue winters - October 21, 2007 03:35 PM (GMT)
rogues gazed snapped back to his. questions filled her mind.
"why are you leaving? where are you going?"
she asked her mind racing he couldn't leave her.
"you can't leave me dorien..."
she blurted out of nowhere.
Dorien Hurt - October 21, 2007 03:42 PM (GMT)
*Dorien looked at her calmly* "I'm leaving tonight. I'm going to Bopkyta. It's in russia. very far north." *Dorien glanced down at his hands* "There's a settlement there of vampires that live like I do. Strickly animals." *This was a lie, but there was no way for her to know. The nearest settlement other than his own family was in alaska. He was going to russia to sleep and hopefully reach some sort of death*
rogue winters - October 21, 2007 03:47 PM (GMT)
rogue looked at him. he really was leaving. she tried to think of something to make him stay.
"but what about the resistance..you said you'd help us fight...and and.."
she was grasping at the few threds of excuses to keep him close. she bit her bottom lip and looked away.
Dorien Hurt - October 21, 2007 03:55 PM (GMT)
"I thought I would be able to help, but I can't. Since I've come here I've done much more harm than good." *Dorien looked up at her, reacting to her obvious destress. In his insane hunger, her distresss made it all the more difficult. He could taste the sour venom in his mouth* "Why do you care anyway. You have James." *He spat.* "It's obvious that you prefer him anyway, so why should I stick around?"
rogue winters - October 21, 2007 05:16 PM (GMT)
rogue didn't know what to say. she wrapped her arms around herself hugging herself tightly. she could tell the hunger was driving dorien crazy. the blood lust was slowly taking over him. she looked up at him tears in her eyes.
"dorien i..."
she wanted to tell him things she couldn't tell anyone else. she wanted to hug him and show him how she felt. looking down at the floor.
"i do care dorien. i care more than you'll ever know."
she held back a sob and hid her feelings. looking back up to him sadness in her eyes.
"so you're really leaving?"
she didn't want to stand by and let him leave but what could she do.
Dorien Hurt - October 21, 2007 10:17 PM (GMT)
"Yes." *He said shorty, looking up at her. He wondered if it was obvious that he was slowly weakening from not eating in over a month.* "Yes, it's already been aranged. I'll blend in in russia. And it's up north so I'll still be able to go out durring the day.* "He felt a slight pang of guilt as he bluntly lied to her. There were no arrangements to be made. He would arrive and enter into a grave yard and pick a tomb to lay in and simply exist. In a few more weeks he would be too weak to rise again unaided. He hadn't told his family. He hadn't told anyone. He was simply going to leave and never come back* "It will be as if I never existed." *He added quietly, leaning his head back against the wall in exaustion and shutting his eyes. His mouth was slightly open, tasting the air and his fangs were subtaly visable.*
rogue winters - October 22, 2007 06:07 PM (GMT)
rogue could see dorien was in a weakend state and stepped forward. she placed her hand on his cheek. she could tell he haddn't eaten in a while. his cheeks were sunken and shallow. he looked almost as if he really was dead. slipping her hand from his cheek she brought her wand to her wrist. muttering a spell a small slit appeared. bringing her wrist to his lips and slightly brushing them. she stood on tip toes and whiapered.
"you will never foget me dorien...ever."
Dorien Hurt - October 22, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
*Dorien stumbled back from her, looking at her like she was insane. He brought his hand to his nose and pinched it tightly. He held his breath so he wouldn't be able to smell the air* "Rogue." *He said, backing up from her slowly.* "You don't know what you're doing." *He hissed*
rogue winters - October 22, 2007 07:30 PM (GMT)
"don't i dorien?'
rogue laughed histerically.
"i know you've been starving yourself dorien. i can tell."
she looked like a crazy person now. her hand dropping to her side.
"yo know what forget it dorien. go be happy in....in russia or wherever you're going to go."
she picked up her bag and headed for the door.
"i know you don't ever want to see me again so go be happy."
just like that she was herself again. opening the door she stopped and looked at him then left leaving the door open.
Dorien Hurt - October 22, 2007 07:36 PM (GMT)
"No wait Rogue." *He said, stepping foward. Dorien, out of pure hunger, reacher out and lightly touched her shoulder.* "I'm sorry....that was rude." *He looked up at her from under his eyelashes, his eyes scorching her, burning, trying to draw her into him.* "It's not like that at all. I'm leaving for you...not because I want to." *His voice was low and attractive, waiting for her reaction.*
rogue winters - October 22, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
rogue knew what he was playing at. he planned to drink her and make he forget. she even went as far as letting the seductive tones crash over her body. she backed up and walked back towards him. eyes glazing over. she smiled seductively back at him. in her mind she was screaming for him to stop. that she wanted to remember everything. if she died soon. she didn't want it this way.
"don't use the voice with me dorien please."
she managed to speak before coming to a stop infront of him.
Dorien Hurt - October 22, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
*Ignoring what she said about his voice, Dorien took her hand and took a step closer to her. He could litterally feel the blood pulsing through her hands. He smiled weakly and stepped even closer.* "I'm sorry if I hurt you Rogue.....I never ment to....but...there's a way that we could fix that." *He glanced around the dark house, then back at Rogue, begging with his eyes* "Come with me to Russia."
rogue winters - October 23, 2007 12:14 AM (GMT)
rogue looked at him.
"i can't do that dorien....my loyalty lies here with the resistance. i made a promise."
she looked down. feeling very guilty. for once she would love to give up feelings and just be. not feel pain or hurt or ashamed.
"whats it like?"
she said looking at his hands. the cold seeped into her own making them numb.
Dorien Hurt - October 23, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
*Dorien tore his hands away from her and stepped back His eyes went cold and flat.* "Oh, you want to know what it's like?" *He said, bitingly sarcastic.* "You want to know? I'll show you." *He grabbed her by the wrist, her blood smearing onto his hand. Dorien easily pulled her outside. He kept pulling her untill they were at the edge at the boundry seperating Kiley's property. He looked back at her, his eyes flashing in the dark. Dorien stepped foward and crouched, smelling the air. He grinned and stepped out into the darkness. There was a girl out there, not much older than Rogue was accompianied with another pale sallow creature that was quite obviously a vampire. Dorien let out a low hiss and smiled as the other vampire took off running into the darkness. He stepped out towards her and smiled warmly, luring her close to him just as he had done to Rogue. She was obviously frightened. He whispered something to her and she took a step towards him. He turned to walk next to her, leading her towards Rogue. Dorien delibertly looked at Rogue before quickly stepping behind the girl and roughly pulling her kneck to the side. She screamed and struggled with him but it was no use. He threw his head back, showing his fangs before sinking them into her neck. She continued to fight and cry but Dorien ignored her. He looked up at Rogue, the whites of his eyes turning red from feeding on the blood. After a moment, Dorien let the girl's body drop to the ground. There was blood on his pale skin that he wiped off with the back of his hand. He walked quickly towards Rogue* "You still want it it now? Now that you see how badly it hurts?" *His anger and recent feeding was taking control of his instincts.*
rogue winters - October 23, 2007 05:26 AM (GMT)
rogue looked on horrified as she saw dorien stalk the young girl. taking an abrupt step back rogue flung the bleeding arm over her eyes. whimpering.
"dorien no!'
rogue yelled. it was to late rogue saw his fang sink into the girls flesh. saw the young girl struggle then go limp and fall to the floor. fighting the bile rising in her throat she swallowed as dorien stepped closer to her. she stepped back everytime he came closer now. she wasn't frightened she knew thats what vampires did. looking from the girl then to dorien she turned away disgusted. walking back towards the house. if he wanted to go she wasn't going to stop him or even try to this time.
Dorien Hurt - October 23, 2007 11:16 AM (GMT)
*Dorien stopped and watched her walk away. It was what he wanted. For her to hate him and possibly fear him so she wouldn't follow him and get hurt. He wanted Rogue to understand that it wasn't something that she would want to have happen to her.* "That's what I thought." *He whispered under his breath. He was deeply saddened and releaved all at once, and he didn't knokw what to do. Dorien stepped back to the girl and knelt down next to her body. He reached out and snapped her neck so he was sure she wasn't suffering anymore. He picked her up to take her into the woods and put her body to rest before leaving for russia. There would be no one to stop him now. The fear in Rogue's voice had cut deep like a knife, but it had let him know exactly what he needed to: he was alone, once again. A vampire is always alone, and now he knew that.*
rogue winters - October 23, 2007 01:37 PM (GMT)
rogue walked to the house and slammed the door. she wasn't scared or frightened. she was upset that dorien would go to that extent to push her away. push her out of his world. leaning against the door. she shuddered. remembering the girls whimpers and struggles. he wanted to leave so bad. well who was she to stop him. rogue leaned over and vomited into a umbrella stand not stopping till she felt dizzy. falling to her knees. she whiped her eyes.
"goodbye dorien."
she said quietly. she would go on with her life as if he never entered it. walking up the stairs and into the shower letting the cold water rush over her. she watched the blood swirl down the drain. they would never have been happy if they were together. they would have always fought. she had to think about her and james now and push dorien out like he did her. now it was time for her and james. dorien was no more......
