Title: Dueling Club
Description: Anyone.

Milo Scone - October 25, 2007 01:10 PM (GMT)
Milo walked into an empty great hall, apart from the black throne of the Grand which was stronger than any of Hogwart's magic. He took out his wand and conjured a dueling platform in the centre of the room.

He waited for the club members.

Flame Lestrange - October 25, 2007 01:12 PM (GMT)
Flame was the first to enter the great hall- there for only one reason. Flame planned on facing Kiley in a duel again, but she planned to win this time. She had planned on asking the Grand for some tips but decided that this dueling club may come in handy first. When she saw who was running it she offered a cold and sarcastic smirk, knowing he'd have some stupid comment prepared.

Milo Scone - October 25, 2007 01:21 PM (GMT)
She was right. "So - dueling is more important than my potions class eh?" He shouted, smiling, "Mind you'd be better at wand work wouldn't you?" The last comment was a dark innuendo, Milo found them funny but not everyone did. It was a test of her tolerance in mickey taking - would she laugh along or retaliate aggressively. Either way Scone had a stock pile of witty insults in his mind, each one more funny than the last.

Flame Lestrange - October 25, 2007 01:38 PM (GMT)
Flame nodded- indeed duelling seemed more important than his stupid classes to her. She hadn't been told she had to turn up to them like the others. "Of course professor- that's why i turned up on time, isn't it." she joked. She was good at parts of wandwork- but not the legal sort of dueling. She much prefered unforgivables. She flicked her wand and a mirror appeared in her left hand. She took her time to reapply her black lipstick carefully, so it was just perfect.

Fawne Sugarmoon - October 25, 2007 01:44 PM (GMT)
Fawne wandered seemingly distracted into the great hall, though she knew perfectly well this was a dueling club. Hell she'd need the practise at it. Things weren't as passive as she thought. Upon entering she spotted Flame and Professor Scone who she assumed was their teacher. Walking around the dueling platform she headed towards Flame a wistful smile set on her face. She supposed they were friends now.

"Oh Hello Flame, Hello Professor."

Milo Scone - October 25, 2007 02:03 PM (GMT)
Milo forced a smile. The two idiots were together... oh gosh this would be a fun club. One manipulative bitch and another dizzy cow who happened to be friends. Both Family members, then again - who wasn't nowadays?

"Well get started when a few more turn up."

Flame Lestrange - October 25, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
The entrance of Fawne caught her eye and dark smirk crossed her features. Now this would be fun. All they needed now was Ariel and the mad three were once again together. The Hufflepuff and the Gryffindor, all crowding around the Slytherin. Wouldn't that be shocking for the professor?

"Hey, Fawne." Flame said calmly. "We, meaning you, me and your brother, need to talk later. Later meaning as soon as possible of course." She shot a bitter look at Scone and then proceeded to change her outfit.

She decided on three-quater length, combat style trousers in green, a black top which showed off her upper back and arms with black trainers. That left much of her carved back on show and she liked to show off her position. She was, afterall, a show off.

Fawne Sugarmoon - October 25, 2007 06:09 PM (GMT)
"Of course."

Was all Fawne said to acknowledged the arrangement of the meeting. After all you shouldn't say too much.

"I do not think Craven will be attending Dueling Club, but i shall inform him of our meeting."

Fawne watched as Flame magicd a new outfit that exposed her 'markings' This was of course the first time Fawne had seen them up close. Since she kept her eyes firmly shut in during the process of their making. She seemed to reach a delicate hand towards them but changed her mind and dropped it to her side whilsther left ahnd twirled her wand around.

"Do they hurt?" Her voice was a whisper and it was clearly directed at Flame and Flame only. Not the professor, whom Fawne had quite happily taken to ignoring right at this moment.

Flame Lestrange - October 25, 2007 06:17 PM (GMT)
Flame nodded, glad that her message had been clear and Fawne was not saying anything in present company. "Tell your brother it would be useful, will you- duelling is a skill much needed should he wish to proceed down his current path." she giggled, as if they were having a discussion which was rather funny hoping that Scone would then loose interest.

She smiled as Fawne reached out to touch the markings and then withdrew her hand. "It's ok, Fawne- curiosity can be good at times. Touch them if you wish." She was wearing the marks with pride, as she had been told to- she was showing the world she didn't care what they thought of the cause- that she wouldn't stop for them. She was showing them to show that she was respected by people more important than regular teachers.

Flame shrugged at Fawne's question. "Not much really. They settle down after a few days and stop hurting at all then, but until that happens you enjoy the pain. Sometimes good things do come with pain so do not pull away from it." she smiled openly. "Sometimes pain creates a whole new dimension to your character."

Fawne Sugarmoon - October 25, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
Fawne already looked paler than usual but the mention of pain seemed to make her go white. It was definitely going to take a while for her to grow this adjusted attitude that Flame and her brother had. She nodded her head in agreement with Flame.

"Perhaps you would be willing to help tutor me extra in Dueling. I'm afraid i have not had much use for it before. Though as you say it will be important soon enough."

Fawne's eyes wandered back to the markings and this time she allowed her fingers to gingerly run over a few of them. She withdrew her hand sharply and decided not to think about them. Deciding on a lighter topic to discuss Fawne went for Flame's new outfit since every time they met Flame would comment on Fawne's outfit. Today Fawne just had on a pair of knee length sailor styled denim shorts, a white fitted blouse, white mary janes and finally she had tied a lose silver ribbon around her neck to hold the ever present Thestral pendant that had been charmed to look silver. There was no sash in sight today.

"I like your shirt...I wonder when the others will arrive..." Seeming to pick up on Flame's add of an giggle Fawne followed suit, though her giggle seemed much softer.

Finnigan Tatupu - October 25, 2007 10:26 PM (GMT)
Finn entered the dueling club. He was a fair dueler. He was able to combat the Luciers long ago, and everyone knew that they fought dirty. Finn looked at his half brother, and smiled. "Good evening Professor," he said, it was still a little known fact that they were family, "Glad to see such a turn out." He gazed at his competition and decided it was lacking. They both looked like girly girls. He knew about Flame' affiliation. She was proud about it. He hoped someone else would show up so that they could start dueling.

Fawne Sugarmoon - October 26, 2007 03:49 PM (GMT)
Fawne turned on the spot to glance at the new arrival to the club. She wasn't quite sure who he was but she was sure she had seen him in the potions classroom. She was staring to feel rather nervous about this whole thing, she hadn't had a great amount of practise at Dueling.

She smiled her normal wistful smile, whilst pondering whether to bother introducing herself or not. Since she valued manors she choose to she extended her right hand forward towards the boy in greeting, since her left hand was twirling her wand like a baton. She still spoke in dreamy tones even through the nervousness.

"Hello. My name is Fawne. May i request to know yours?"

Flame Lestrange - October 26, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
Flame saw Finn entered and glared at him coldly. he had chosen his side in this war. He was with Scone, against her. That made him an enemy. An ememy to her, and the cause she fought for. She was glad he didn't attempt to speak to her, for she would have been quick to curse him.

It seemed, however, that Fawne did not know Finn and she walked over to introduce herself. Flame rolled her eyes- trust her to be the one that tries to befriend the enemy. Then she smirked. It was genious. If Fawne could befriend Finn they would have all the information on Scone they needed.

Finnigan Tatupu - October 26, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
"Tatupu," Finn said coldly. He never said much before dueling. He was trying to focus. He figured that this must be one of Flame's floozy friends... He didn't take kindly to whores, and it seemed that his life was surrounded by them. He examined his wand. It was polished nicely, it looked brand new, despite it being over seven years old. "Are we going to start this now, or what?"

Fawne Sugarmoon - October 27, 2007 11:59 AM (GMT)
Fawne withdrew her hand when the boy spoke coldly. She didn't know exactly what she had done to annoy him so but she didn't look greatly the bothered. Nor did her voice sound any diffrent when she spoke.

"That is rather rude you know."

Whether she referring to the fact he ignored her handshake greeting or the fact he quite clearly gave her his last name whilst she had given her first was unclear. Perhpas both. She wondered if the coldness had anything to do with the glare Flame was sending his way. But Fawne in respect was nothing like Flame, nor was she one of the floozies of the small group of girls that had met in the library, she had been the one dressed most respectfully.

Wistful light grey eyes scanned quickly round the hall before returning to stare at a point just behind Tatupu's head.

"We are an odd number of students..."

Finnigan Tatupu - October 27, 2007 03:05 PM (GMT)
Finn had no intentions of being nice to one of Flame's friends. Flame was bad enough, but more people who thought like Flame, and thought she was a nice person? Finn was disappointed in this girl's judgment of character. Finally Finn said, "It doesn't bother me..." He paused, "In the real world, people are going to try and have numbers on you... And if you've never practiced dueling two people at once... You'll probably be killed..."

Fawne Sugarmoon - October 27, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
Fawne strop twirling her wand like a baton and instead took to observing everything and nothing as her eyes shifted around. She stopped this however when 'Tatupu' spoke and took to looking at him instead.

"I have never even practised dueling just one person before... I only know a few hexes. I rather think you and Flame would be more suited to duel."

She though about saying something along the lines of 'your more similar' but she could sense the animosity between the two.

London Rellis - November 2, 2007 03:25 PM (GMT)
London entered the great hall quietly, her blue-green eyes scanning the room. So far, there was only a scattered amount of people from a few houses, nothing really to worry about. She nonchalantly stood, awaiting the beginning.

She loved to duel. She'd done it all the time at home, perfecting her nonverbal spells. Most laughed and called her a 'wee firstie' when they saw her, but quickly learned that she was a sixth year, and rightly so.

Flame Lestrange - November 2, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)
Head turned to watch as a Ravenclaw entered and Flame considered ignoring her but then decided that it was probably not the best option as Finn and Fawne were deep in conversation and the professor seemed to have dropped off to sleep. Plus, she remembered, Tanya had been sorted into Ravenclaw and talking to someone who was a potential friend for her cousin seemed to be a good thing.

"Hey." she said. "I'm Flame. May I ask yours?"

London Rellis - November 2, 2007 06:18 PM (GMT)
"London." She murmured to the Slytherin, eyeing her up and down. The light from the enchanted ceiling shined down on her face, causing her to squint. Honestly, she hated the light and would much rather be in the dark.
