Flame was stood in the corridor for no apparent reason, watching the world go by. A single yawn escaped her and she cursed the fact she had been out all night. Not that it had been a bad night, but she found herself struggling to stay awake that morning. Her back was sore, it had been through a lot the day before, and she was dressed more appropriately than would be expected of her because of this. Her clothes did not cling to her form but were rather baggy, so not to presurise the cuts. Tommorrow would be another story, but she had to give the engravings some time to heal, though.

*Alex was roaming the corridors again. He had been doing so since before breakfast. The Family was taking over the school and yet he still hadn't heard from Mel. Was he that unimportant to her? Too much was running through his mind for him to remember that he needed to eat or go to classes. They didn't matter to him anymore anyway. He accidentally ran into a girl in the corridor and fell over. That brought him back to reality, but it didn't change his mood at all, except for the irritation now brought with the knowledge that he would be sore for a while. He incoherently and quietly let out a 'sorry'. He stood up and considered walking away, but something inside of him told him to stay. There wasn't any real reason behind the thought, it was an unbeatable urge like many other people get, and that was all.*

All she felt was someone crash into her and she turned around to see a boy picking himself up off of the floor, muttering something that sounded like sorry. She stared at him for a second, frowning and thens shrugged. "It's ok." she said pleasantly, a surpirse for she was usually cold to all strangers. "I'm Flame, may I ask your name?"

*Alex paused and stared at her for a second as he quickly weighed out the possibilities. All he really wanted to do was walk away, but something made him blurt out his name.*

Alex:"Alex."

*It came out quickly. He looked very surprised after he said it considering the fact that he really hadn't intended on saying it. Now he was stuck there until she got bored of him or he came up with a good excuse.*

Flame examined him and recognised him from somewhere, though she couldn't think where. Maybe she'd seem him before? She'd seen a lot of people in her time at Hogwarts and not all faces were remembered. "Well, Alex, you seem rushed lately- something bothering you?"
