James tapped his wrist lightly with the end of a quill he was holding. He was standing outside a sweets shop and was gazing into the rather large display glass. It was surprising how many different types of sweets they've come up with, it was almost just silly trying to count them all. He himself felt almost temped to go inside and buy himself some, but he knew he had more important things to do. He tore his eyes away from the glass and looked down the street, hoping to see someone he knew. He had been rather bored lately, even though a lot has been going on he was not allowed to take any action until further notice.
rogue walked down the street her head ducking whenever the chilly wind picked up. she stopped a few stores away from james nt noticing him. her eyes were glued to the latest broomstick on display. she loved riding her old broom. the one that was now no where to be found. her younger brothers broom. the one she had treasured since he had the accident. she looked like a star struck kid again. with her very first broom. her hand was pressed against the glass and she let out a soft sigh.
"thats got to be the best broom ever."
she said to herself noticing the younger kids pressing thier noses against the glass. she smiled at them and then turned to walk away. seeing james a few stores away. she hurried over to him with a warm smile.
"james, hi."
A smile quickly formed on his lips as he heard Rogue's voice. She seemed more happier than the last time he saw her. "Hey Rogue," he replied, his eyes darted across the street for a quick second before laying rest on Rogue's hair. He stowed the quill into his pocket for later and turned his body away from the display window to towards Rogue.
"What brings you here?" He asked, a bit curious. He himself haven't been in Diagon Alley for almost a year now.
rogue shrugged her shoulders.
"just doing some window shopping"
she said looking over at the broom shop then back up into his eyes. she reached out her hand and touched his shoulder. pretending to pick a piece of lint from it.
"what about you?"
she asked with a smile. she seemed a bit more happy. she couldn't help but be happy on days like these. the wind blowing in with the promise of winter on it's way.
