It was Hogsmeade weekend and it was obvious. Everywhere you looked little groups of Hogwarts students were clearly in view. Many had gathered in Honeydukes but, as always, The Three Broomsticks had proved a popular destination. It was buzzing with activity and the cold weather outside made it all the more popular.

In a corner, a little away from all the noise and sipping from a flask of firewhisky, was a rather scary looking man. Perhaps not as scary sat down as when he was stood up he had dark hair, waxy skin and features which looked as if they were carved from a block of wood. Eyes were dark in colour and seemed empty. He seemed to be there for no particular reason but to watch the world pass by.

A short asian woman pushed open the doors to the three broomsticks and confidently walked over to the bar. Her long forest green dress sweeping the floor in a bid to make her look taller, with a khaki waspie tied round her middle and her black hair left lose to frame inwards around her face.

She sighed and scowled at the bar maid who had asked her for identification as usual. Really Mei was 27 now; being short did not make her young! Finally receiving her drink she turned round to observed the people in the pub. Slightly sipping from her fruit-alcohol drink she allowed her honey coloured eyes to scan around the room finally landing on a rather scary looking man in the corner; her eyes remained there watching him for some while...

A woman entered the three broomsticks, asian by nationality and confident in her ways. In fact, something about her was familiar, perhaps from his Hogwarts years. In his day he had been a Ravenclaw, but that was a while ago, considering the fact he had reached the age of thirty- but he hadn't really changed. He watched her as she passed and eyes fixed upon her for a few seconds before he turned away to take another sip from his tankard.

If he had been more outgoing perhaps he would have got up and crossed the room, spoke to her and perhaps even tried to get a name but he wasn't. He was a quiet man who kept himself to himself- most of the time.

Mei had been staring for a while trying to place a face to the name. She knew him at least vaguely but then she knew rather a lot of people and that didn't help things. She meet his gaze before he turned to take a sip from his tankard.

In turn she turned to the bar to get another one cocktail, this one appeared to be lime green in colour but still of the fruit and spirit variety; though larger in quantity. She paid before turning swiftly on her heels and heading over to the dark corner without a worry in the world; to feisty in nature to care.

She gave a bright smile to the man before sitting elegantly down on the chair without invitation. If anything her behaviour only showed her nature. She spoke in light tones though not loud ones;

"Mei Lei Feng" She extended her hand forward in greetings.
