Flame was dressed nothing like her normal self. Instead of her usual skimpy or body-clinging clothes she wore baggy jeans with a baggy hoodie and trainers. Her hair, much like her cousins, was brushed so her face was completely covered; not one part of her body was in proper view as hands were pulled into sleeves and instead of the beaming confidence she usually held she seemed somewhat helpless if you were to look at her.

She climbed the stairs of the astronomy tower, hoping for some peace, and when she reached the top curled into a ball against the wall, head on her knees o hide her face even more as silver tears rolled silently down her pale features (more ghostly today than ever). She did not expect to be interupted, but this was Hogwarts and people were always everywhere. There was no such thing as privacy.

She wanted to keep what was going through her mind secret, but something told her that if anyone spoke to her she would blurt it all out. Plus, it was only her luck someone would show.
