Title: Another meeting
Description: Fawne

Dorien Hurt - November 19, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
*Dorien's chains had been loosened again since he had been practically lathargic durring the daily examinations for the past four days. His clothes were little more than dirty rags, but they still didn't take much away from his appearance. He had cleaned his pale skin as best he could, making him look less like a prisioner. Only the cuffs and the clothes would make him appear to be a captive. Dorien sat on the ground, running his finger through the dirt on the ground absently to make a design. He was singing to himself, but the sound was so low and his lips moved so fast that it would only sound like a soft hum to any mortal and his lips would only appear to be vibrating. Dorien stopped suddenly when he heard someone approaching and mentally prepared himself for another round of firey torture with the Grand.*

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 19, 2007 12:22 AM (GMT)
It was surprisingly sunny outside today and it reflected in Fawne's attitude and attire as she skipped loudly down the corridor towards her friends 'home'. She hastily shoved the horrid sash into her white shoulder bag as she headed towards his cell. If anything she looked a strange sight; not only was she skipping down the prisoners cells she was dressed in a bright yellow sundress, white flower patterned tights and had daisies braided in her hair. The only constant was the emerald thestral pedant bouncing on its long ribbon chain.

Her skipping stopped abruptly as she reached his door and her eyes scanned around for other people. She pushed the door open on slightly before she sidestep quietly through it. Speaking brightly in her melodic tones.

"Dorien?"

Dorien Hurt - November 19, 2007 12:28 AM (GMT)
*Before Fawne could even speak, as soon as she had opened the door, he knew it was her. He had grown acustomed to her scent. He let out a breath that he had not been aware he was holding and smiled easily* "Hello Fawne." *His mood was lifted considerably not only by her visit, but also by the fact that he was nearly positive that she was alone.*

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 19, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
Fawne turned slightly to shut the door fully, proving she was in fact alone. She smiled in greeting and without hesitation walked over to him, gracefully dropping herself to the space a way in front of his. This was obviously something of a normal now. From her now seated position misty silver eyes glanced over his appearance, she frowned at the clothes and visibly shot a dirty glare at the chains before her demeanor brightened and a smile was back in place; Fawne loved the sunny weather.

"Hello Dorien...Have you been fairing well?"

Dorien Hurt - November 19, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
"As well as is possible in this situation.....they loosened my chains..." *He held up his hands to show her his less limited mobility, although it was very obvious that his chains were not as tight, seeing as he was sitting down instead of standing like he had been forced to the last time they had conviened.* "You look lovely. Is it nice out today?" *He wished that he had a window so he could see for himself, but since he didn't, he would have to ask.*

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 19, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
"They should have removed them completely..." Her voice was strangely melody-less as she spoke but her facial expression did not change.

However she soon smiled brightly at his last comment about the weather and her bright outfit, all mention of chains pushed to the back of her mind. She removed the bag from her shoulder placing it carelessly on the floor before removing a daisy from her hair and handing it towards Dorien.

"The weather is lovely; i do like sunshine. Though only with the right amount of clouds. I find it delightfully to cloud gaze, perhaps when you are free i can take you to watch the clouds?" Her tone was back to its normal whimsical one and though it was a subtle change she no longer said If he is freed she now said when.

Dorien Hurt - November 19, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
*He smiled* "I would love to show you what the sun does to my skin." *He spoke as if thinking* "That is, if they ever let me out of here." *He sighed and leaned back against the wall* "I'm suprised the grand han't come in here and draggedme outside yet to see if I'll burn up to a crisp. I would love it if he did.......the dissapointment in his face always makes my day so much better." *He couldn't help but smile*

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 20, 2007 10:30 PM (GMT)
Fawne blinked and flushed slightly either in embarrassment; though in reality she hadn't done a great wrong. She just hadn't thought about things in respect to Dorien being a vampire, she had grown rather used to treating him as, well, human.

"Oh fluff" Fawne, after all, never swore. She smiled in her normal manner before continuing.
"You are a puzzle, though i can not say i mind...What would happen if you were to venture into the sun?" She linked her hands together and lessened her smile though not completely.
"Dorien, do you think you will be free again?"

Dorien Hurt - November 22, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
*Dorien shrugged and absently scratched his shoulder, pondering over the question of his freedom quietly* "Oh, I believe I will be......eventually. Hopefully sooner than later. I'd like to believe that this will all blow over soon but.....as I sit here day after day, I keep wondering when the resistance is going to come and help me....and they never do...Its turned from a question of when they're coming for me to if they're coming to me." *He was silent for a moment, slightly frusterated, but mostly just saddened. After a moment, Dorien became aware of what he was doing to their conversation. He sighed and half smile, trying to clear away the clouds of doubt and sorrow that he had brought into their conversation.* "The sun has a rather interesting effect on my skin....but we'll leave that to be a suprise for when I get out of here.....I'll have to show you. I think you'd rather enjoy it. I doubt you've ever seen anything like it...or ever will again. Well, unless you start hanging out with a lot of vampires after this."

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 27, 2007 08:22 PM (GMT)
Fawne's silver eyes had stared curiously at Dorien's saddened state. She didn't understand why he wouldn't let her contact his family and ask them for help, but she was sure that he would be free asian. She was too optimistic to think otherwise. When he finished talking about his would be freedom she sighed softly and muttered something in a quiet soft tone that sounded suspiciously like 'I would come for you.' Before blinking softly and smiling once more as if she had just blinked the atmosphere away.

"I would find it delightful to see what happens; if it causes you no harm of course." She paused for effect. "Perhpas i will, they seem to be interesting company..."

Dorien Hurt - November 27, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
*Dorien smiled* "I would rather you didn't. Most vampires arn't like me. It's taken over half a century for me to be able to control my thirst. Mnay vampires don't agree with the...diet that my family and I follow. They think we're crazy." *He smiled lightly* "Prehaps we are. It's gotten us so far" *He gestured around the dark musty cell, indicating the point of his sarcasm.*

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 27, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)
She choose to take his sarcasm at a fun level rather than a depressing one and she giggled lightly and small half smile set on her lips. Obviously even being sat in a cell on a sunny day couldn't dampen her mood.

"I doubt i would ever find others of your kind, besides i find one puzzle is enough" She giggled again; brighter than before and obviously amused by some thought in her mind. After abating her giggles her eyes sparkled merrily as she spoke. "Being thought to be crazy is not often a awful thing. It is most useful actually..."

Dorien Hurt - November 27, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
*Dorien couldn't help but smile when she laughed. It really cheered him up. He repositioned himself into a more comfortable position as she spoke, listening with the same intensity as before as well as the same small smile on his lips. He laughed a little when she said being percieved as insane had it's benifits* "Oh really? And what would that be?"

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 27, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
She smiled freely now; it appeared to be much more friendly, with the normal grace of her behaviour but lacking the dreaming mask. Even her eyes appeared more attentive as she tilted her head and observed him lightly. Her left hand was wrapped loosely around her thestral pendant almost as if it was a sign of her so called 'insanity'.

"Oh. Well i find it delightful that people let you do what you wish without question. After all you are" she coughed in a playful manor to empathises her next word, almost as if she was disbelieving of the term many labelled her with "Odd. I also find you tend to meet far more interesting people when one is crazy. Being 'normal' just doesn't have the friend benefits."

It was clear now that Fawne was being playful and although it would normally be deemed slightly out of character the way she spoke it and the tones she used made it seem a very normal occurrence.

Dorien Hurt - November 27, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
*Dorien continued to smile* "Ah, but it's different for me. With me, most people are simply afraid of me......they don't know it, but they are. And they can't explain why. It's just a known subconsious thing. So I can still do whatever I want without question."

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 27, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
Her smile dropped slightly to a more comforting one than a laughing one. She removed the hand that clasped the pendant and it moved forward slightly as if she was going to touch Dorien's arm, she seemed to change her mind at the last moment and instead placed her hands in her lap.

"I believe i found you a little scary at first. Though i do believe you made me more curious than frightened. Now i am neither; i trust you." She smiled brightly and her serious touches seemed to vanish. "Oh how delightful you my first crazy friend."

Dorien Hurt - November 27, 2007 10:40 PM (GMT)
*Dorien laughed quietly....it was a little less controlled than normal, but still a part of his controlled facade none the less.* "I don't find it suprising that you found me frightening at first. And although I trust you as well, I feel as though it is my duty to remind you that it is dangerious....to trust me."

Fawne Sugarmoon - November 30, 2007 04:59 PM (GMT)
Fawne just smiled back in her normal dreamy facade way, rather that scowl like many would she knew she wouldn't win this argument. She sighed softly and spoke in her sing song tones.

"Nevertheless i do trust you and times are dangerous, so perhaps it couldn't hurt to place my trust where i believe it belongs." She seem to stare right through Dorien now, rather than at him and she had come accustomed to doing so. However the smile was still in place.

Dorien Hurt - November 30, 2007 11:08 PM (GMT)
"I'll leave that up to you.....Just remember that The Grand's hatred is based in fact.....we are dangerious....we do kill animals and people to survive....." *He dropped off and just watched her, mildly frusterated by her lack of responce. He looked away before then dropping his eyes down to his bare arm and looking at one of the blue veins, made to appear even more so against the contrast of his practically white skin.*

Fawne Sugarmoon - December 1, 2007 02:01 PM (GMT)
She sighed and finally dropped the smile, even her well practiced facade only lasted so long under stress. Her eyes though still clouded actually focused on Dorien and she nodded her head.

"I know you do." Her tone seemed dimmed and it didn't seem to suit her at all. She knew very well that vampires attacked people. Although she couldn't know for sure that's what slaughtered her father; she had been told it was a group of magical beasts and had been to young to remember other wise. She hummed a soft tune lightly under her breath as if clearing her head with it before speaking once more.

"Perhpas i shall keep my guard, if it pleases you?"
