Title: CoMC -- Lesson One

Mei Feng - December 3, 2007 02:51 AM (GMT)
A small Asian woman or rather the new CoMC professor smiled brightly at her own handy work as she finished the last minute touches to her class room with a few flourishes of her wand. The final flick unlocked the door and she declared herself ready for her first class...

The room itself had originally been nothing more than a large classroom with plenty of windows. Now the room had been charmed to have all the touches of a class room with a more earthy feel. The floor was covered in 'magical grass' which was in theory like turf carpet, the large work desks and the several chairs surrounding them had been charmed to look like natural grown wood, the windows had been left wide and clean to give a perfect view of the grounds buy the most prominent touch was the varying containers scattered on shelves that seemed to be growing haphazardly from the walls around the room. Each where full of harmless creatures; Mei was not daft enough to leave the more dangerous ones in the class room permanently. The classroom had faced no major upgrade but if anything looked more appropriate for the lesson.

Still smiling she marched over to her own desk at the front of the room, this again was made to look the same as the other desks; gnarled. She leaned back on its edge both hands propped behind her and amber eyes focusing on the door way; waiting for her class.

Fawne Sugarmoon - December 5, 2007 10:33 PM (GMT)
Fawne had been looking forward to the CoMC class for ages now. She was hoping they would cover thestrals and she had always loved the 'abilities' of some creatures. Needless to say she was first to the class in fact she was nearly a whole 15 minutes early; which explained why the door had been locked.

When she finally heard the spell on the door be lifted she virtually ran, or skipped in Fawne's case, into the room. Choosing to stare with large silver eyes around at the cages rather than to sit down at the table. Her eyes finally set upon the professor.

"Delightful Morning Professor." Her voice was airy but with bright tones underlying it. Within a few moments she had taken a seat at the largest several person desk near the middle of the room, of course this was after taking her shoes off to walk across the magic-ed grass carpet.

Tristan Brant - December 11, 2007 01:12 AM (GMT)
*Tristan appeared shortly afterwards, his brown canvas bag over his shoulder. Tristan had a black eye that was beginning to heal and he looked even thinner than he had before he left, which was quite a statement. He smiled weakly as he entered the room and slid the bag from his shoulder, taking his seat. He couldn't be too sure who was in the family, so he had to keep a low profile just incase, a feat which would be nearly impossible for him.*

Mei Feng - December 11, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
Upon noticing her first students arrived Mei stood up to her full height, of 5'2", in an attempt to appear more like a teacher. A bright smile was set into her Asian features as she looked upon two gryffindors who had entered her classroom. Both a little early but she was happy to see some students were early after all; unlike she had been in her Hogwarts years.

She noticed Tristan's black eye and automatically and her curiosity was perked but she choose not to ruin the start of her first class and instead walked towards the students slightly.

"Hey" She flicked her wand quickly and the words 'Professor M. Feng' appeared on the black board behind her desk as she continued speaking in her normal bright tones "Its nice to see some people can be early. Oh I'm professor Feng for the record. Wow that makes me sound old."

She smiled in her feisty manner and it was clear that she wasn't as old as some of the other professors; as it was she and Logan the DADA professor were both 27.

"So, your names?"

Tristan Cavalli - December 11, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
*Tristan paused, unsure of what to say. Should he lie? Had it really come to that, that he would have to lie about his name to protect himself? School had never been easy for him; he had been beat up for being gay more than a few times. But now it was unbearable. He had to second guess everything and keep himself out of the limelight.*

"Tristan Cavalli." *He said with a weak smile and a sigh* "You're not old at all." *He knew he probably shouldn't be saying anything more than what was directly ased of him, but he couldn't resist. It was just who he was.*

Fawne Sugarmoon - December 11, 2007 10:10 PM (GMT)
Fawne had glanced at the other Gryffindor who entered the room shortly after her. She too was curious about his wounds although she was a little more obvious at showing it. However upon thinking about wounds images of Dorien the second time she had meet him flashed across her mind; bloody and bruised. She hadn't 'visited' her friend for such a while and she worried for him often; she could no longer help him and that hurt. Her eyes scrunched closed and she blinked a few times as if clearing her mind.

She was thankful when the professors voice interrupted her musings and she turned her gaze back to Miss Feng. Having missed the question due to thinking she waited for the boy to reply first. Finally realised what she had been asked Fawne's normal dreamy tone was set into place.

"Fawne Sugarmoon...Tristan is right, you don't appear old."

She smiled in her half smile way, not even bothered about the fact she'd used his first name without permission; it hadn't stopped her before and it wouldn't now.

Mei Feng - December 11, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
She had noticed Tristan's slight hesitancy and Fawne's apparent day dreaming but she choose not to pursue either behaviour traits. After all she really didn't want to have to send anyone for punishment these days and confrontation could lead to that.

Still smiling she nodded her head and had the good grace to grin wider when the both called her young. A twinkle in her eye, professor or not it was obvious she was at least going to attempt to be light hearted in the current times.

"Now now, i must warn you flattery does not get you O's" She giggled brightly to show her mirth before sitting down in and empty student seat near her two current students.

"So any ideas about what we should learn today?" She paused for effect. "Only kidding I have plans. But seriously let me know if you want to learn anything in-particular. This was my favorite class when i was here so I'm hoping it can be one of yours too."

OOC Note: I play two of the people in here already and i refuse to bring Craven in lol.
