Don't exactly know what to do but think that it sounds cool? Here's what to do to make a character journal and what they are for.


I WANT ONE, HOW SHOULD I MAKE IT?

Make a new topic and give it a title that lets us know who's journal it is. Something like- "Melanie's Diary" or "The Diary of Melanie Hunter". You get the idea.

If you have multiple characters, make a new topic/diary for each one (if you wish).

I'VE MADE IT, WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT MAKING ENTRIES?

It's completely up to you, but it works best if you make a new post for every new entry your character makes. You can even date the entries if you want. Have fun with it. You can make a new entry every day, or every week, it simply depends on what you want.

[/U]I'VE GOT THE IDEA, BUT WHY DO IT?[/U]

The character journals were an idea I came up with to:

1)Help people stay connected to the site. It will (hopefully) give them some way to further their character even when they aren't posting or don't have anything to do.

2) Further Characters. A lot can be revealed in the journal entries that was difficult to show in ordinary posts.

3) Fill in Time Gaps. To create events in the character's life that weren't played out and make everything flow more.

4) The Fun of It. Don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks that this sounds fun. lol.
