*Liam walked silently down the hall towards the kitchens. He was starving since he'd missed dinner. Liam had figured that maybe the hunger would pass after a few hours, but he'd been wrong. So here we was, walking down the cold halls in the dark at midnight.*

*Simner has the night shift this night and figured no one would be breaking their ankle at midnight. If they were out at all he would just give them detention. Because of this reasoning he walked down silently to the kitchen hoping there would be some leftover scraps from dinner that he could bring back up to the hospital wing. He noticed someone ahead. It was a student. He tiptoed behind them figuring he would be giving them a scolding, but on seeing who it was he took a long breath out and smiled. *"Hi Liam" He said, softly.

*Liam stopped and turned around when he heard his name spoken. Upon doind so he saw Simner and smiled half heartedly.* "Oh hey Simner." *Despite his current feelings towards Mel, he couldn't help but not really care for SImner, since he had dated her when they had broken up.* "What're you doing up?" *He asked stiffly, crossing his arms infront of his chest*

Simner: "I could ask you the same question," *he said, raising an eyebrow *"But if you must know I am coming down to get something to eat"*Simner let his eyebrow drop. He felt the urge to gross his arms just like Liam in a mocking way, but decided against it. After all it was midnight in a dark corridor. It would be best for both of them to not be noticed.

*Liam hated the way that Simner acted; as if he was better than him just becasue he was older. Big deal. However, Liam managed to keep his feeling to himself and continue to make small talk* "Oh yeah? Me too. I missed dinner, and I couldn't sleep." *He shrugged, his arms still over his chest*

*Simner bit his lip.* "Care to join?" He said, with a strain* "We could...uh...catch up?" * Simner tried to remain pleasant It was difficult. Simner and Liam had never quite gotten along, In fact they had almost always hated each other.. Well maybe not hate... but there was defiantly something there.*

"Sounds good." *He said, equally strained. Great. Now he was stuck with Simner. Liam began walking down the hall then, not really waiting for Simner .* "So, what's been happening? I haven't seen you around at any of the meetings at Family Headquarters. Any reason for that?"

*Simner closed his eyes when Liam mentioned the Family. He took a deep breath. Of Course there was a good reason... He hated the Family. Well he didn't hate it, But he couldn't handle it.* "No... no particular reason," he lied "I just haven't been able to get to them... tied up between work.... and school"
