Title: Escape
Description: anyone
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
*Logan had finally come back to the school after his leave of absence due to the incident with the asprin. He was still a bit pale and was overly tired. But he pressed on. Untill, on his way to the teachers lounge, he remembered that there was always the room or requirement that he could crash in for a half an hour or so, just to keep out from Mei's watchful eye. Once he found the door he quickly went inside and flung himself onto the soft couch that had been provided. He closed his eyes and pulled a pilow over his head and moaned.*
Jenna Wright - December 28, 2007 04:10 AM (GMT)
Jenna wandered slowly through the Hogwarts corridors. She was bored, as always. What was there to do in this place anyways? That's when it dawned on her. The Room of Requirement. There was always something to do in there. So she took the familiar path to them. Of course once she was inside she was a little surprised. There was already someone there. "Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't think there would be anyone in here." She blurted out as she stepped in.
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 04:17 AM (GMT)
*Logan sat up at the sound of the door being opened. His hair was a mess from having the pilow over it. He attempted a smile but it turned into a yawn* "No, don't appologize. It's not like you're interrupting anything important....obviousy." *He smiled and motioned around the empty room, glad to have someone to talk to.*
Jenna Wright - December 28, 2007 04:21 AM (GMT)
Jenna smiled, stepping into the room and closing the door behind her. When he sat up she realized that it was a professor, surprise flickered across her face before she managed to surpress it. She yawned too, despite the fact that she wasn't anywhere near tired. "I can leave if you like."
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 04:32 AM (GMT)
*Logan shook his head* "No, you don't have to leave. I mean, if you want to, you can." *ogan ran a hand through his hair out of a nervious habbit.* "I think i've seen you around here before." *He couldn't bring himself to say 'I think I've had you in my class before.'* "What's your name again?"
Jenna Wright - December 28, 2007 04:34 AM (GMT)
Jenna glanced at the door. She didn't have anything better, and this was far more interesting than wandering the corridors aimlessly. "I'm Jenna Wright, professor." She told him as she walked over to the arm chair, the one that was placed next to the sofa he was on, and sat in it.
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
*Logan cringed when she called him professor* "Please......we're not in class, so you can call me Logan. Professor makes me feel really really old." *He smiled and scratched at his bicep around where his tatoo was. He hadn't ment to show it; it was just anther thing that he did when he was talking to new people*
Jenna Wright - December 28, 2007 04:44 AM (GMT)
Jenna shrugged, "Alright." It seemed a bit odd to her, but she was going to argue. She looked at the tattoo on his bicep, raising her eyebrows a little bit at the idea that a professor had one. "What's your tattoo a picture of?" she asked, looking up at him. She knew it was a stupid school girl kind of thing, but she honestly thought he was kind of cute, even if he was her teacher.
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 04:57 AM (GMT)
"Hm? What? Oh!" *Logan looked over at his own arm where the tatoo was showing.* "well, I have a few of them. This one..." *He pushed up his sleve the rest of the way so the whole thing could be seen. It was a round celtic symbol* "It's a celtic thing for ballence. It was the first one I got. I have two others." *He looked upa t her and smiled. And although he felt like a litte bad for thinking it, being a teacher and all, he couldn't help but notice that she was indeed very pretty.*
Jenna Wright - December 28, 2007 05:05 AM (GMT)
She smiled and leaned a little forward to get a better look of the intricate designs. "That's really cool!" jen said looking up at him. "What the other two tattoos of?" She secretly wanted a tatto of her own, but had always been to chicken to go out and actually get one. Jen never actually sat and had a conversation like this with a professor, she realized that had it been with any other profosser this could have been very awkward.
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 05:31 AM (GMT)
*Logan let go of his sleave and reached down to his left wrist where there was a leather band that was about an inch and a half think that he wore most of the time* "These I only really count as one since I got them at the same time." *He took off the bracelet and flipped up his wrist to show her a symbol tattooed there in japaneese character.* "This one means love.....and this one....." *He took off the bracelett on his right write now* "means pain. It's pretty cheesy..I thought it was a really wicked origional idea then." *He shrugged and ran a thumb over the one on his left wrist.* "I like it anyway." *Logan started to put on his bracelets again. The last tatoo was the one that he got after his best friend Tommy had died a few years ago. That was the hardest to talk about.* "My last one is here..." *He pulled up the sleave on the other arm. It said Tommy's first and last name and deathdate. It was on a banner drapped arcoss a rose* "I got it after my best friend died. Quidditch accident."
Jenna Wright - December 28, 2007 03:32 PM (GMT)
Jen leaned a little closer so she could see the tattoos a bit better. "It's not cheesy. I actually really like it." She stated truthfully. Seeing his tattoos made her want one even more. When he showed her his last tattoo her smile wavered a bit. She though it was cool what he did, but the story behind it was sad. "Oh gosh, I'm sorry." It was all she could really think of to say to that.
Logan Corso - December 28, 2007 06:52 PM (GMT)
Logan shrugged and let his sleave fall back down.* "Don't worry about it." *He smiled reassuringly at her to let him know he was okay.* "My mom just about killed me when she found out that I'd goten them.....I'm thinking of getting another." *His smile changed from reassuring to his old, genuine smile.* "I have to get them in places that I can keep hidden durring school though. Not very professional I guess"
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 12:18 AM (GMT)
"I think my parents would actually kill if I got a tattoo and they found out about it. I still want one though." Jen said with a wry smile. Just because her parents said she couldn't have a tattoo didn't mean that she wasn't going to get one. "Doesn't it hurt though?" That was something she'd always wondered. "What are going to get next time then? . . . Well it's not very professor like, but what people can't see can't hurt them, right?"
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
*Logan grinned* "That's exactly my reasoning for getting one." *He was really starting to warm up to her and like her* "I haven't decided what I want next. I tihnk I'd like it between my shoulder blades." *He sat up a little straighter, his eyes brightened considerably by the conversation* "It doesn't really hurt.....It does at first, but at the same time it sort of tickles. It's really a very strange feeling. Nothing like it. What do you want to have tattooed?"
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
Jen laughed, "I think that's reason enough." She could just imagine her parents faces when they found out. It would be hilarious. "That would be a cool place to have. I'm about getting one of those half moon half sun designs, just below that back of my neck, or a butterfly I think on my hip. Maybe even both." She shrugged. It was odd sitting here like this talking with her professor, but it was. Stranger still, she was really beginning to like him.
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 01:15 AM (GMT)
"Well, if you ever decide to take the plunge, I know an excelent place not far from here that will give you a good discount . They owe me a bit of a favor.." *He grinned and chuckled a bit* "You know, I origionally came in here to hide from a friend of mine. But I'm really glad I did....This has been really...refreshing talking with you."
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 03:51 AM (GMT)
"I'll keep that mind. And if I ever manage to summon up the courage to 'take the plunge' and get a tattoo I know just who to talk to." She was slightly curious about the fact that they owed him a favor, but she didn't bother asking him. Jenna smiled, she was glad that she'd came in here too, even if the circumstances were a little odd. She chuckled softly, too. "Hiding from a friend? Well, in any case, I'm glad I helped to make things refreshing for you. . . I'm glad I came in here too and didn't leave."
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 12:50 PM (GMT)
*Logan smiled* "Yeah, I was supposed to meet my friend Mei for a cup of tea in the teacher's lounge. You probably know her as Professor Feng. We've been friends since we were in school. Anyway, she won't care. There've been plenty of times that I've had a girl dump me because Mei kept me from going." *He sighed and rolled his eyes* "Besides. She keeps a really close watch on me all the time. It's not very fun. Can't really do anything."
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 04:22 PM (GMT)
Jen smiled, laughing softly. "Yup, I know Professor Feng. That's a long time to have been friends. How come she stops you from going? Doesn't that get old after a while? It's your life, right?" Jen said, not really meaning to make it sound as a mean as it had come out. "Sorry, I didn't quite mean it like that." There she goes again, speaking her mind before she thinks. That was definitely something she was going to have to work on.
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
He shook his head.* "No, don't worry about it. I say the same thing sometimes. It's like she's my sister. I've done the same thing to her too." *He sighed* "It's not like we've been friends for that long...I'm not that old." *He laghed a little and smiled*
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 10:39 PM (GMT)
Jenna laughed, "I guess I can understand that." She had younger siblings herself and was very protective of them, having a brotherly/sisterly relationship with a friend was something she could understand. "If you don't mind my asking, how come you didn't want to go have tea with her?" She hoped she wasn't being too nosey, but she was curious.
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 10:53 PM (GMT)
"She's very nosey. And she doesn't know when to stop. And besides, everr since I've come back to the school I've sent the majority of my time with her. Apparently we have no other friends." *He grinned and absently cracked the nuckles of his fingers, one at a time as he talked* "Andsometimes you just need to have a little sace, you know?" *The reason she was being nosey was because she no longer trusted him after his recent attempt of suicide. With good reason, obviously. But he wasn't about to tell Jenna that.*
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 10:57 PM (GMT)
"Everyone needs space. If you spend too much time with just one person you get sick of them, no matter how well you get along." Jen stated with a slight shrug. "Well I guess you could said you have one other friend at this point." It seemed a bit weird to be saying that to a professor, but at this point she'd even forgotten that he was a professor.
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 11:04 PM (GMT)
*Logan couldn't help but smile at that.* "Wow. Two whole friends. So popular." *He said sarcastically, teasing her.* "Well, it's my own fault really. After school I kind of ran off and lost track of most people. And now none of them want anything to do with me. Don't do that...after you leave school. You'll regret it. Send your friends post cards and stuff." *It was a little weird to him to advise her on what to do and not to do when she left school* "What year are you in, anyway?"
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
"Well, who needs friends anyways?" She said jokingly. She was sure that he probably had quite a few more friends, he just didn't realize. "Well it seems you're full advise. But don't worry, I'll make sure that I stay in contact with everyone." She couldn't imagine just leaving and not really seeing any of her friends anymore. But it seemed that Logan really had lost contact with everyone, she knew she couldn't just drop everyone like that. It would be hard staying in touch, but she'd make a point to keep up with her close friends at least. "I'm a seventh year. Why?"
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
"Just wondered." *He said pasively* "I figured you were a 7th year. You sem pretty mature for your age though." *He hoped he wasn't freaking her out....coming off as a creepy teacher that was hitting on her or something. He mentally shuddered at the idea.*
Jenna Wright - December 29, 2007 11:43 PM (GMT)
Jen shrugged. "I am seventeen. I guess being the eldest kid in the family might have something to do with that too. My younger siblings are twins, pain in the butt but I love them anyways." She'd never really thought of herself as mature, but she wasn't immature either. The thought came to her that he might be hitting on her, she smiled at the idea.
Logan Corso - December 29, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
*Logan shifted his position so that his foot was on the couch with his leg hugged to his chest and his chin resting on his knee. He smiled faintly as he gazed at her, listening to her explanation.* "That's probably why. I'm an only child, which is why I think I never really grew up.So I'd imagine that it would work the other way around too." *He sighed* "I always wanted to have siblings. Being an only child is so boring."
Jenna Wright - December 30, 2007 12:03 AM (GMT)
"I'll tell you, having brothers and sisters is no picnic, half the time it's a nightmare. They're always ganging up on me." Honestly, though, she couldn't imagine not having them there, even if they were almost always fighting. "Besides, if you're the eldest you always get dumped with taking care of them, being the babysitter and the responsible one. You actually have to be the good kid."
Logan Corso - December 30, 2007 12:14 AM (GMT)
"Yeah, that true. But you're probably more prepared now because of it. When you're an only child you're used to having all the attention all the time and having everything done for you and handed to you and getting everything you want. Then you come here to Hogwarts and it's a really nasty shock. And then you move out and it's even worse....you should see my apartment...It's a horrible mess." *He smiled and laughed* "Actually that's a huge understatement. It's a diaster zone. Laundry, left overs, dirty dishes...all over the place. No electricity because I lost the bill and couldn't pay it.....It's bad."
Jenna Wright - December 30, 2007 12:18 AM (GMT)
"Yea, that's true. But then when you have younger siblings, they tend to get all the attention and then you're left alone. The parents always baby the youngest ones." Jen shrugged it off. "I doubt that my apartments going to be very clean. I might be responsible or whatever, but that doesn't stop me from beings messy." She laughed. "My mom always throws a fit at how messy I manage to make my room. I bet wherever I live it's gonna be a mess and my mom wouldn't dare take a step inside! Besides, where's the fun in being clean?"
Logan Corso - December 30, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
"Right....it's like a small adventure any time I need to get something out of my living room." *He laughed at the mental image of himself in full adventuring gear crossing his living room.* "My neighbors have actaully started to pity me and do my laundry for me...it's a little sad actually."
Jenna Wright - December 30, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Jenna shook her head and laughed. "Tsk tsk. You even have the neighbors doing the laundry for you? Well that's one way to do it. I suppose if ever decide to tackle your aparrment and clean it up it would be a rather interesting adventure. Cleaning's the worst" She found it rather amusing that his neighbors were doing his laundry for him.
Logan Corso - December 30, 2007 01:23 AM (GMT)
"Well, I don't know if I could let you clean my appartment for me. It could be a hazard to your heath. There may be creatures in there that have mutated into horrible monsters from wallowing in my filthiness for so long." *He laughed at the thought.* "I wouldn't be suprised if I was attacked by something one day when I decided to clean up dirty dishes*
Jenna Wright - December 30, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
Jenna laughed, "Maybe you should clean up just a little then. At least that way it wouldn't as much of a health hazard. With a little bit of magic it shouldn't take too much work." She shrugged, who was she to make anyone clean, she wasn't much of a tidy person herself. "It could be dangerous living in your apartment" She said laughing, "You might have to bring in a pest control or something."
Logan Corso - December 30, 2007 01:40 AM (GMT)
"I don't doubt it, espically going at the rate that I'm going now.. In all honesty, I really should do something about it. I'm starting to loose things. And I'm low on cash, so buying new clothes instead of washing the old ones is turning out to be a bit of a problem."
Jenna Wright - December 30, 2007 01:46 AM (GMT)
"Well if you ever need any help I'd be glad to give you a hand. Two people are always better than one." Jenna offered. She really wouldn't mind helping out, and most of the time she found cleaning someone elses stuff to be a lot more fun than cleaning up her own stuff.
Logan Corso - December 30, 2007 02:19 AM (GMT)
"That could be fun. I might have to take you up on that. We could have a cleaning party....." *He shuddered and laughed* "I guess if there were people to help it wouldn't be all that bad. Probably be too distracted to really get much done though."
Jenna Wright - December 30, 2007 02:22 AM (GMT)
Jenna laughed, "Those two words I never thought I'd hear in one sentence. A cleaning party. It could be kind of fun though. I'll make sure to keep you focused on cleaning, no worries. I bet we could clean out your whole apartment in just a couple of hours if we really set our minds to it." She laughed, "But you're probably right, we would get distracted."
