It's my pleasure to announce that we are bringing a new feature to Lumos, and reinstating an old tradition.

Introducing: CHARACTER OF THE MONTH

Characters are nominated by the members and then voted on. Whoever has the most votes wins. Their name will be listed in the sidebar and hopefully with some sort of fancy graphic. YAY FANCY GRAPHICS! :) A good Character of the Month nominee is a character that has done something noteworthy, admirable, funny- anything. A character that you really loved this month and want to give recognition to.

To nominate someone, PM either Kiley or me. We're running this.


I'd like to have a CotM for December, so if you could send in your nominations ASAP that would be lovely. Deadline for this months nominations are Saturday the 29th (tomorrow).


Reintroducing: QUOTE OF THE MONTH

Okay, so it was really quote of the week, but quote of the month is much easier to organize. Quotes are nominated- they can be from anywhere on the forums, IC and OOC- and then voted on. To nominate quotes, PM either Kiley or me (same as before) with the QUOTE, POSTER, AND TOPIC THE QUOTE IS FROM. There will then be voting and whoever has the most votes wins. A good Quote of the Month nomination is a quote that is either particularly meaningful or funny, or just a darn good piece of writing. Anything that you think deserves a shot at winning.

I'm going to hold off on this one until January.
