Title: Looking for Finn
Flame Lestrange - January 5, 2008 03:34 PM (GMT)
Flame was getting bored. She had looked everywhere that she thought likely to be a haunt for Finn. She needed to find him, but she was struggling. It had been hours since she had left Harshing's office with the words I'll be back, and still she had been unable to do just that. She hadn't found him and she was beginning to give up hope of managing it today. She turned yet another corner in the maze of corridors. "Where can he have got to?" she asked herself, sounding frustrated.

Finn had been discussing previous wars with his History of Magic professor. It seemed to him that nearly every war was won by the "good group" He supposed this was true as the Sentinus lost his war and Voldemort lost his... Those were the only two wars Finn knew anything about. He said a short goodbye to the Professor and exited the room.
He had exited just in time to hear Lestrange. Finn was standing in one of the doorways of the corridor. "Where could who have gone?" Finn asked, still not revealing his position.

A voice made her look up and though she had heard the target of her search she could not see him. Flame frowned and glanced around. Where was he? "I was talking about you, actually Finn." she laughed lightly. "Now come out, hide and seek is a very childish game."

Flames treacherous nature had been known throughout the school. "For what purpose do you need me?" Finn asked, still trying not to give away his position. He knew from every word he spoke, that it would be easier for Flame to find him.

Flame sighed. You could always trust Finn to make a simple task difficult. Her teeth ground in anger which had been steadily growing in her search and now he was just pushing further. "I was told to find you. It would be wise of you to just come out. You know what I get like Finn and, to be honest, I don't want to hurt you." That was something Flame rarely said, what had got into her recently?

Finn's smile at his game of hide and seek quickly turned to a frown. He knew he wasn't being named student of the year or anything... He figured it must have something to do with Milo, or else Harshing wanted to talk to him. "What's wrong?" He asked stepping out of the shadows, expecting the worst.
Flame Lestrange - January 5, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Flame looked at him and ran a hand through her silky black hair. "Harshing told me to find you, and take you to his office. He had that manic look in his eye- the one he gets when you really shouldn't question him." She shrugged. "But maybe that doesn't matter to you."

"I don't give a damn about Harshing. What is it regarding?" Finn was getting angry now as well. "I don't like your sarcastic tone. If this isn't important, tell Harshing I look forward to seeing him in hell." Finn picked up his bag and awaited a response. Harshing rubbed him the wrong way... Was it possible for him to rub someone the right way? He would go only if there was some news about his family.
Flame Lestrange - January 5, 2008 05:08 PM (GMT)
Flame shrugged again. "He wouldn't tell me. If I knew. I'd let you know." then she laughed, coldly this time. "I didn't mean for it to be sarcastic and yes, I think it is something of importance." She looked directly at Finn. "You know something, I've never done anything wrong to you, but you always seem dodgy around me. Is there a reason for this?"
Finnigan Tatupu - January 5, 2008 05:10 PM (GMT)
Finn said rather indirectly, "Well... erm... You have a poor reputation. Your family always has had a bad reputation. The last thing I need is to get involved with you." He paused, putting his other strap over his shoulder, "Where is Harshing's office? Is it where Scone's used to be?"
Flame Lestrange - January 5, 2008 05:15 PM (GMT)
Flame stared at him. There was a dark look there, cold, manic, much like her fathers sometimes was but without the dramatics like candles going out. Yet she doubted Finn knew she was Harshing's daughter, no-one really did. It wouldn't be a secret for long though. She had thought about the important decision Harshing had placed before her and made her choice. Harshing- Flame Harshing. "I was told to escort you there." she told him, turning ad starting to walk. "Come on."

Finn stopped, "I don't think so." Finn said. He was one of the most hated Slytherins. He had been outcasted by his housemates because he was too nice. "I don't stand much a chance if Harshing decides to try to punish me. What good could you do?" Finn was slowly realizing that Flame had no desire to compromise. "Whatever... If I get killed who gives a flying f*ck, right? Let's go..."
Flame Lestrange - January 6, 2008 09:38 AM (GMT)
Flame shrugged and smirked. "I have a poor reputation, what can I say?" she stopped where she stood and thought about it for a minute. "If you hadn't said that, I might have been more willing to compromise." With that she turned without another word and continued towards Harshing's office.
ooc: Topic- where do we stand, in harshing's office.
