Title: Just thought I would visit
Lycs Anima - January 6, 2008 12:12 PM (GMT)
Both Harshing and Anima were well known wizards- Harshing more so than Anima, but Anima was many years behind. Something less known was that the two were related- second cousins, in fact. They didn't look much alike, but they had similar beliefs on a certain thing called blood purity. Anima believed none but pure bloods were worthy of the powers of the witch and wizard.
Anima had not spoke to his cousin properly for a while, for he did not count the point he got hired as proper, that had been arranged for purposes that were not just to talk. He walked up the halls staring critically at all those students he knew did not have the blood class he liked.
He stopped at the door and transfigured a piece of parchment into a mirror. His hair could do with a trim- others would disagree, others would say it needed a good chop, but he liked his hair long. Having decided he looked ok he finally knocked, stowing the mirror in his pocket.
Coldstone Harshing - January 6, 2008 12:20 PM (GMT)
Harshing waved his wand and the door opened, he kicked aside a boy tied to a chair who he had been torturing information about a fight in the Gryffindor common room. The boy ran outside. Harhsing looked at little Dodge, all grown up with fashionable black hair. He remembered when he was twenty three and had black hair, now his hair was dark grey, tied in a warrior like braid on his shoulder. His robes were purple now, regal and grand.
"Little Dodge," he smiled and shook his hand. "It doesnt seem five minutes ago when you were a little baby in your mother's arms. I always knew one day you would come to this school,"
He opened a draw and pulled out a bottle of whiskey and poured two generous measures.
Lycs Anima - January 6, 2008 12:31 PM (GMT)
Dodge smiled. "Harshing." he said, as he returned the handshake with his firm grip. He looked at his cousin properly, and decided that this may have been the right decision. Sure, the family was rich, but none of them were that rich. The grand clothes, the power and authority, yes- teaching would make him that way.
"It's been my dream for years- you know that." he laughed. He siad, downing the whiskey like a pro. "The kids need a proper education. Shame we couldn't have an all-Slytherin staff, except for heads of houses, but I guess that is impossible." He said, pouring himself some more whiskey. "Most of them are probably locked up these days, judging by the ones I knew." He took a seat and made himself comfortable.
"Nice office." he told his cousin. "Now I heard you were inspecting lessons, so any knowledge on when you'll be inspecting the dodge? I need to make sure everything is perfect by then." he once again downed the whiskey. "And what punishments are acceptable, I've heard a lot of stories, and I want to make my punishments as... effective as is legally possible."
Coldstone Harshing - January 6, 2008 03:42 PM (GMT)
He sat and supped his whiskey like a fat cat slurping its fresh top cream. Lycs would fit in with his new regime just fine, if his parents were anything to go by Dodge would turn out just as anti-Mudblood as the rest of the Harshing clan.
"Your inspection will be your next lesson." He smiled when he mentioned punishments and leaned closer. "The Protectors have crushed me on this one," he said with distaste, "We cant physically hurt students anymore but there are various...workarounds." He supped more whiskey, not actually liking it anymore since he was no longer stressed with politics.
"The boy I was interrogating earlier, I simply cast a bubble over him and heated the air to almost 70 degrees C - his skin was burning," Harshing licked his lips. "punish as you will and we will pretend that I don't know about it. As long as what goes on in Hogwarts, stays in Hogwarts - there shouldn't be too many problems."
Lycs Anima - January 8, 2008 04:38 PM (GMT)
Lycs smirked. His next lesson would be a perfect time for an inspection. Any lesson would. If there was trouble from any of the students then he'd have to deal with it his own way. he would not be embarrased in front of his cousin without handing out punishments. He guessed his cousin would like his seating plan as well. It wasn't exactly a seating plan, more having specified areas for certain blood.
"Workarounds, eh Harshing?" he snickered as his cousin continued with his explanation. He liked the idea of this, he wouldn't be physically touching the students, he couldn't get in trouble for doing so, but he would be hurting them. They would understand that he, Lycs Anima, was someone to behave around.
Then his mind wandered back to his lesson, earlier that day, and the annoying muggleborn he had put in detention the following night. A cold laugh escaped him. "How would you like to... erm... Attend my most recent detention, a mudblood, can't remember his name offhand." The two of them would work well together, if only his cousin would like to work as the team they ought to be.
Coldstone Harshing - January 8, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
"I shall attend," he smiled and there was a manic glint in his eyes. He stood up and walked around his desk, picking up random objects and looking at them. He took his wand out and mouthed some strange words, he repocketed his wand. "There was once a teacher here called Blaze Grimes, he was of a similar mind to ours, brilliant man. The children referred to us as the Dead Duet.." he laughed but there was some sense of pride in his words, "We ruled this school with an iron fist and would use the might of magic to cleanse any filth that dared to question us."
He looked Lycs straight in the eye. "Perhaps the Dead Duet is reborn, and throughout this school may the freezing bloods of the dirty be washed clean."
Lycs Anima - January 8, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)
Lycs smiled, knowing the detention would be twice as difficult for the student to put up with ow that harshing would be joining them. His mind was great, much more experienced than his own, knowing just how to cause the pain so they would survive but be in agony. He could learn from his cousin, and who better than the famous Harshing to be the one he learnt from? Bitter, chilling laugh escaped him. "reborn, perhaps, with Grimes replaced by a new member." he rubbed his hands together, smirk growing. "I can see it now, Harshing and Anima- cleansers of the wizard race. The purebloods will down to us in thanks, and all others will tremble when they see us." he though for a second. "We could be great, there would be a great number out there, ready to serve our noble cause."
There was something, now, excitement, perhaps, mounting up. He wanted to be great, to be the leader of thousands. he wouldn't mind sharing the glory of course, family was important in this world- especially good family like the one both he and Harshing belonged to.
Coldstone Harshing - January 8, 2008 08:14 PM (GMT)
Harshing's smile vanished. Lycs had big plans, Harshing remembered his place in the Protectors, his vows for a better Britain. Blood purity was not part of the Protectors policy at all.
"See me in these robes," he said with disappointment, "I cannot lead with you Lycs. But I shall be there, supporting all the way along. I must bide my time in the Protectors, manipulate Kiley to my will and bend the law to my needs. You must be the one to be seen as the Pure blood activist. You must voice your opinions in council. You must..."
He paused and a thought struck him so hard he giggled in mania, He swept to his desk and swigged his whiskey. "You must remaster the Death Eaters. Yes they are out there, I can sense them - weak, alone... We shall resume the noble work that The Dark Lord started." He took out his wand and a dark mark appeared out of the air. It hissed and contorted into an eye with a snake coiled around it. The Harshing crest combined with the Dark Mark.
Lycs Anima - January 9, 2008 10:57 AM (GMT)
Harshing's face dropped and Lycs quickly followed. What was wrong with his cousin had something ahppened to turn him against a cause there whole family believed in. Now, a fron was visible on his handsome face, as he listened to the words of the head of hogwarts, and as he did smile returned, more crazed this time. He was ready for anything now.
"The death eaters, yes, a ready formed army with the cause." then he shook his head. "But we would need a mark, the real mark, branded into the skin of a real death eater, to make the change. Asfar as I know, there aren't any of those in the student body. God knows the malfoy boy was a mistake." he stared at Harshing. "Unless you know any different?" he knew his cousin served the death eaters, but he would not want to cause his cousin that pain, maybe someone else- someone he did not know, at least not so well.
"It looks good, though."
Coldstone Harshing - January 9, 2008 11:49 AM (GMT)
He pulled up his own sleeve to reveal the faded mark. "I will suffice," he said at once. He covered it up, almost ashamed that he served. But he wasnt, he had served only to better himself, he had kept himself in balance with both sides - such cunning! "We shall call them soon, we shall call them and lead them."
Lycs Anima - January 9, 2008 06:23 PM (GMT)
To begin with, Lycs was shocked, he had not known Harshing had been a death eater. It wasn't a bad thing, but he had never known that and he couldn't believe Harshing had kept it from him all this time.
"It is perfect, you will not be seen, but you will be working with me behind the protectors back. The death eaters will serve for us, knowing our cause is worth it and we calone have the initiative to lead them. Our world will be cleaned- no more idiot mudbloods or halfs, just us purebloods, who alone deserve to leanr and practice the arts of our ancestors."
Coldstone Harshing - January 10, 2008 11:55 AM (GMT)
"They stole our magic!" He hissed. "Let this be the dawn of a new era, and era that SLytherin could only have dreamed of - we, his children shall fulfill his plans, and even carve new ones from the ivory wizards that deserve to be great. Yes...." He breathed in slowly. "Soon we shall infiltrate the Protectors, control the council and you shall be appointed Dictator of Britain."
Lycs Anima - January 10, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
Dictator of britain... He liked the spund of that. The protectors were nothing against the power of an entire army and they would not need him to live any battle they went through to be held together- the death eaters were stronger than the family. Eyes were full of greed, he wanted power more than anything else. "It is perfect, Harshing, you really are a genious."
Coldstone Harshing - January 10, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
Harshing smiled and made a mock bow then laughed. "Yes, I am a Genius," he agreed sincerely. "And my genius shall take you to success little cousin." It was as if it was all a game, Harshing was playing witha giant chess board: the world and all those on it were pawns and pieces to be moved to his will. So far, there had never been another player... but there was a mob forming.
"We must also investigate this new gang that has formed, it is being led by a boss. We must make friends with them quickly, their power is great."
Lycs Anima - January 10, 2008 04:56 PM (GMT)
Lycs had always got on well with his cousin, there was just something between them that had always existed. "Sucess, which you must wish for a part in, though. Once we have taken down the protectors you could step up, if you wish me to control then yes, but you deserve respect within this world." he laughed, desire for this all to get into motion obvious. "Who is this gang? Who is in it? I have heard little of it, and it is important we push against it before it raises against us, show them we would be much better bosses and, with them on our side, we shall be stronger."
Coldstone Harshing - January 10, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
Harshing smiled, "I do not seek direct leadership, I will take an advisory post once we crush the Protectors and become a deputy in the new league of blood puritans."
"I too know little of the gang. But there is organised crime, people are getting hurt, and some people are getting rich quickly. And there are whispers of a leader that controls them, someone with enormous respect, a Godfather as it were." Harshing smiled at his little joke even though it wasnt funny.
"This figure is of vital importance, the person controls the gangs of the street and with one word can bend them to his will. I shall approach this person in due time and ask for allegiance. For now, we must plan, bring back old followers - the Lestrange Brothers are still out there, Grimes, Fenrir."
Lycs Anima - January 10, 2008 06:53 PM (GMT)
Harshing didn't desire leadership? It seemed odd that someone like him did not, but then again they would still be a team. Amina was not hated by anyone yet, though he soon would be- his pure blood mania was generally something many disagreed with. Still, the people who mattered would not hate him- pure bloods had no reason to hate him, they were friends in this world which was being eaten away at.
"Of course, you shall still be seen highly, an advisor is as important as a leader. no leader is strong without someone stood by him, helping with the decisions." Then came news of what Harshing knew of the gang. He frowned, wandering what the cause of this gang may be, and who led them. It seemed Harshing knew the leader and so his frown ceased- all would be fine.
"Of course, those still loyal to an old cause which lingers in many minds. The most loyal- the Lestranges and Greyback." There was no problem with that, in his mind, he believed they would answer his call, but where would they be called to.
"So, where do we call the death eaters to?" he asked his cousin.
ooc: Do we have anyone to play the Lestrange brothers and Greyback?
Coldstone Harshing - January 10, 2008 07:08 PM (GMT)
No lol, I propose we delay this plot for say 5 days while I post a new Death Eater application.
