Title: Lost Cause
Description: Lycs
Craven Blackwood - January 9, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
A tall dark haired Slytherin paced his favorite spot in the dungeon. Craven had lately been more of a loner than usual. After all his involvement in the family had given him reputation and he had disowned his sister and friend because of outcome. The family had been a large turning point in his life, one that led him astray unfortunately. Though he must admit he enjoyed severing a cause.
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair closing his mismatched eyes in thought. He needed an aim, a goal for his life. Right now all he had to do was reconcile broken links and get rid of the damned reputation that isolated him even more than usual. He kicked the wall in frustration messing up the slightly pristine Slytherin uniform that had maintained since the new school rules had been implemented...

Lycs was patrolling the corridors, or at least that was his excuse. His real reason for walking down every single corridor in the school was simple- he was recruiting. He couldn't tell everyone he had reformed the death eaters- it would be stupid to do so- but he could tell the select few. The select few, in this case, meant purebloods he felt would support the cause. Blood purity is what is was all about, purifying the wizards race.
As he walked down the dungeon corridor he saw the perfect candidate. Craven was well known for being proud of his blood, and Lycs had a feeling he wanted a cause to serve, and he had the perfect oppurtunity for him.
He walked over to the boy. "Hello Craven, I haven't had time to introduce myself properly yet- I am Lycs Anima, though it is best you call me professor around the others." he glanced around. "Why the loner attitude, then?"

Craven had jumped to attention when he spotted his transfiguration professor rounding the corner and heading over. He respected Anima and Harshing most within the school and he intended to show his loyal to the school, his house and them. He placed his hands in his pockets and stood tall though not disrespectfully so; almost like standing to attention.
"I'm Craven Blackwood, sir..."ha paused only slightly before continuing in his usually deep tone voice. "The attitude severs me well, i can observe and be ignored. Besides no one questions the loner for his opinion do they sir?" he didn't feel the need to explain the family situation and the reputation that it had given; cold, bitter and a pure blood manic.

Lycs liked this boy. He was respectful, glad to answer questions. If anyone in the school seemed loyal to their house it was him, he had yet to see him being decent to anyone from houses other than Slytherin. Lycs smiled at the boys explanation and nodded.
"I know what you mean." he said, "If you keep quiet noone questions who you are, what you support whereas if you are loud and in with many then you will be questioned by them all." his mind was, in fact, thinking of the girl Flame. Harshing's daughter was exactly the opposite of this boy, loud, wanting to be the center of attention, but still the oure blood manic of their whole family.
"Still, surely you can talk to someone? Our house has the perfect members."

Craven nodded none committedly when he mentioned being able to talk to someone. He had a few, he supposed they would be called, friends in slytherin. And no one particularly despised him, with a few exceptions, in his own house. His alliance just hadn't gone down well in other houses.
"I have no problems within Slytherin. But the other houses not so much; many of them are not worthy." His voice held no anger just his normal deep tones. Like he was merely stating a fact. Which in his own opinion he was. He paused as if deliberating something. "Sir, could i ask why the interest?"
