Title: Thinking
Description: Jenna
Logan Corso - January 14, 2008 04:18 PM (GMT)
*Logan was sitting in his office souching in his chair with his feet on his desk. He had his eyes closed and was wallowing in his thoughts. The fall of the family, Mei's warnings about dating a student, and of course, about Jenna. He was hoping to see her again soon, but hadn't decided on what they should do if they did go out on another date. So he had been trying to stay out of public, avoiding her and mei.
Logan's hair was a total mess and he hadn't shaved in a few days so he had some stubble going on. He hadn't tied his tie and had left the top buttons unbuttoned of his shirt. He was generally a mess, his reasoning being that he didn't have to teach for another hour and hadn't bothered getting ready completely. There was a knock at the door and logan sighed, opened his eyes, slid his feet off his desk and sat up sraight. He pulled some paper and a quill towards hi in an attempt to look busy.* "Come in." *He called, not bothering with the tie or buttons, figuring it was just Mei.*
Jenna Wright - January 14, 2008 09:29 PM (GMT)
Jenna had been debating with herself. She hadn't seen Logan since their first date, and he had said to come by his office anytime. Of course, she wasn't sure if he had really meant that or not. She'd spent hours in thought, debating if she whould wait for him or if she should go to his office. Finally, she'd made up her mind. She had to at least stop by for a couple of minutes, just to say hi or something.
Naturally, Jenna had paid attention to what she was wearing. She didn't spend as many hours laboring over her outfit as she had for their first date. But even so, she'd been weary of her appearance. She was in school uniform, but her hair was down and wavy, which was a rare occurance for her. She reached his door and took a deep breath, trying to shake the jitters away before knocking.
Come In
Jenna opened the door a little slowly, still kind of nervous. She smiled at the sight of him. "Hey Logan," She said as she closed the door behind her.
Logan Corso - January 15, 2008 12:42 PM (GMT)
*As Jenna walked into the room, Logan felt a pecuilar mix of happiness and dread. He was happy to see her, but of course he looked like he had been run over a thestrral crossing on the one day his girlfriend......Was she his girlfriend? He felt his stomach lurch again. Logan ran a hand through his hair in vain and smiled.* "Hey Jenna.....you look nice." *He had to work not to laugh as he thought of what she could say to that uh....well....you don't logan...... He almost laughed again* "What's up?"
Jenna Wright - January 15, 2008 11:00 PM (GMT)
"Thanks," Jenna said with a smile, looking down at her school uniform wondering how that could equal nice. It was abvious that Logan had really been expecting any visitors, his appearance was kind of gruff, but Jenna actually kind of liked it. Seeing him in a tie and all neatly dressed made her feel so much younger than him. "Not much, just thought I would stop by before I had to go to class, seeing as it's on my way.." In truth, Jenna didn't have any more classes for the rest of the day, and his office wasn't exactly on the way. But a little white lie never hurt did it? And besides that, she didn't really want to seem desperate
Logan Corso - January 18, 2008 03:13 PM (GMT)
*Logan pushed back from his desk and stood, abandoning his tie and buttoning up the top few buttons on his shirt.* "You can have a seat if you'd like..I have some tea over there..." *He motioned to the corner of the room closer to his desk.* "Yeah, I have to teach in an hour, but I'm not really doing anything untill then or after that....so if you're not busy...we could do something..." *He said, looking down at his feet, a hand resting on the back of his neck. He glanced up at her, suprised by how shy she made him feel.*
Jenna Wright - January 20, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
Jenna took a seat, dumping her bag with a rather loud thud to the side of the chair. "Tea sounds great." Jenna said, with the weather being so cold she was always in favor of a hot drink. "I'm not busy. Did you have anything particular in mind?" As far as Jenna was concerned, just sitting there and actually hanging out with logan would be nice. She smiled as he looked at her, blushing slightly as her stomach flipped. She could tell that he was feeling a little shy or nervous, which made her feel shy and nervous.
Logan Corso - January 21, 2008 04:33 AM (GMT)
"Not really." *Logan went over to where he had the tea and made two cups, one for each of them* "It's wicked cold out though, so we should definietly do something indoors." *He brought the two cups of tea over around his desk and held one out for her* "Careful, it's hot..." *Logan pulled up a chair across from her* "If we did something in the castle, we'd have to do it...uh....like, in here or in the room of requirement though...." *He hated to bring it up, but if Harshing saw him and Jenna hanging around eachother and crossing the student-teacher lines like they had when they kissed, Logan could be in a lot of trouble* "I'm sorry I just..." *He smiled* "I'm terrified of Harshing." *Logan admitted, looking over at her and laughing*
Jenna Wright - January 21, 2008 04:42 AM (GMT)
Jenna took the tea rather gratefully, "Thanks." She said as she blew on it lightly in an attempt to make it slitghtly cooler before she took a cautious sip. It was still hot, so she held it in her hands, keeping them warm. "That sounds good. I havn't actually been in that room in a while...." She smiled and looked down at her tea, blushing slightly. She completely understood why they had to be in some hidden room, she kind of hated it. But at the same time it made things more interesting, and she liked interesting. She looked up when Logan admitted that he was scared of Harshing. "I think the entire population is terrified of Harshing, myself included!" Jenna admitted with a laugh.
Logan Corso - January 21, 2008 04:52 AM (GMT)
"You should have seen him when I was in school...He was so much worse. He's mellowed out a little, and a lot more since the family collapsed. Anyway.....I'm sorry about this...having to hide and all. I feel guilty.....if it's any conselation..." *He paused to sip his tea* "If it were up to me we wouldn't have to hide...." *He smiled a little though* "It makes it a little exciting though. At least I tihnk so...but what doI know?"
Jenna Wright - January 21, 2008 04:56 AM (GMT)
Jenna looked at him, eyebrows raised. "He's mellowed out a little? Jeez. I thought he was bad just as he is. But he used to be worse?" She couldn't even imagine it. If she thought things were bad now she couldn't even begin to imagine what it must've been like when Logan had been in school. She smiled, "Don't worry about. I think it makes it kind of exciting too." she sipped at her tea, still smiling. Granted, she didn't like the fact that she had to hide this from so many people, but at the same time it was an interesting game to play. Of course, it was more than a game. In any case, the fact that he had say that if he had his way then he wouldn't hide it had completely made her day.
Logan Corso - January 21, 2008 05:19 AM (GMT)
"Yeah, he used to be much worse. I could show you scars...Mei and I both....it's why we don't really punish too harshly in our classes...because of what he inflicted on us in school...mind you, it wasn't as if tommy and mei and I were exactly model students....pretty far from it...but what he did to us was just sick." *Logan took another sip of tea* "All it really taught us was how not to get caught though....we didn't actaully learn from it like normal people would have." *Logan shrugged and ran a hand over his unshaven face.* "I don't look very professional..." *He mumbled distainfully and sighed* "Too bad...."
Jenna Wright - January 21, 2008 05:25 AM (GMT)
Jenna frowned, she hated Harshing so much, Never in her life had Jenna ever hated someone as much as she hated him, nor did she think she had the capacity to hate someone that much. "He's a pretty twisted man. But seriously, where's the fun in following the rules? Rules are made to be broken." Jenna said, a bit of a mischevious smile forming in her features. So she wasn't exactly the most innocent person ever, but then again, she wasn't the worst behaved either. She liked to have fun, and sometimes that meant breaking the rules. She took another cautious sip from her tea, her still rather warm, but almost cool enough to drink ."I think it looks fine." She told him honestly.
Logan Corso - January 21, 2008 05:45 AM (GMT)
"I do too.....it just doesn't look very defence against the dark arts teacher." *He smiled and closed his eyes, slouching slightly in his chair* "I'm glad you feel that way about the rules....warms my heart." *Logan smiled with his eyes still closed and took another sip of tea.*
Jenna Wright - January 21, 2008 05:20 PM (GMT)
Jenna shrugged, she liked it but as he said, it definately wasn't the teacher look. Perhaps that was part of the reason she liked it. She took another sip of her tea, enjoying the warmth that seemed to come from it. Tea was the perfect remedy during cold weather. She laughed at Logan's comment. "Well I'm glad that I was able to warm your heart."
Logan Corso - January 22, 2008 12:52 AM (GMT)
*Logan laughed and opened his eyes again.* "You know, the only thing I miss from being in school was all the practical jokes we pulled...and just being generaly irresponsible. Now if I pulled half of the crap I did a few years ago I'd loose my job" *A little voice in the back of his mind reminded him that what he was doing with Jenna was very irresponsible and that he very well could lose his job.*
Jenna Wright - January 22, 2008 02:27 AM (GMT)
"Well I guess that's just one of the disadvantages of having to grow up." Jenna said with a laugh. She'd never really seen Logan as the type to pull pranks up until now. "What kind of stuff did you do anyways? You know, just get a few fresh ideas." Of course, Jenna was joking on the fresh ideas part. But you never knew, he could really have some good pranks to pull that she could use in her last term here.
Logan Corso - January 23, 2008 02:24 AM (GMT)
"Oooohhhh...." *Logan sighed and smiled innocently.* "We stuck all the furnature to the ceiling upside down once. That was amusing. We bewitched a dog to walk around the halls an scream in german. I think that was one of my favorites." *He laughed, dropping his head back, remembering it.*
Jenna Wright - January 23, 2008 02:29 AM (GMT)
Jenna laughed, "I think I'm going to have to borrow some of your ideas so I can leave my mark on this school." She could just imagine the look on teachers faces as they saw furniture stuck to the ceiling. She smiled and took another sip from her tea, looking at the mug. She'd almost finished it. She was glad she'd stopped by, it was good to just hang out with Logan again.
Logan Corso - January 23, 2008 02:46 AM (GMT)
"I'll write you a list of some of some of the crap we pullled..." *He paused* "Wait, what am I saying?" *He looked at her, still laughing* "I'm supposed to be guiding you....and stuff..." *He sighed and stood, strething his arms over his head* "I'll take your cup it you're done.." *He offered, putting his on his desk among the rest of the clutter.* "I don't wanna go to claaaasssss..." *He whined, grinning at her*
Jenna Wright - January 23, 2008 02:52 AM (GMT)
Jenna laughed, "Aw come on, a few pranks can't hurt anyone can it? Besides I'll be out of here soon, I have to leave my legacy!." Jenna argued, more jokingly than serious. But she really did hope that he would write some ideas. She finished the rest of her tea and handed the cup to Logan. "Thanks. That was some good tea." She laughed. "What kind of normal person wants to go to class?" He was just like a student, whining about going to class when they could find a million other things to do.
Logan Corso - January 23, 2008 03:08 AM (GMT)
*Logan took her cup and looked around the room for a place to put it* "Ummm..." *He finally decided on the top of a bookshelf.* "There..." *He grinned at the mess that was his office* "I don't know what posessed me to become a professor..." *He joked, running his hand through his hair again. In reality, he loved being a teacher. He would have just prefered to spend the rest f the day with Jenna* "You coupld come 'observe' next period if you don't have anything to do...i'm just going to give them a study period anyway." *He shrugged and smiled*
ooc: we need something exciting to happen with their relationship.
Jenna Wright - January 23, 2008 03:12 AM (GMT)
Jenna looked around, in some ways his office reminded her of her room. She definitely was not the neat and tidy type either. "I have no idea. I think it's just because it's Hogwarts. I mean, you just can't leave Hogwarts forever." Jenna smiled, looking up at Logan. "That sounds good. I'm free for the rest of the afternoon... so maybe we could hang out afterwards or something as well?" She offered just as a suggestion. She didn't want to appear too clingy, but she would like to have some time to hang out with him.
Logan Corso - January 24, 2008 11:29 PM (GMT)
"That sounds great." *Logan crossed to the far side of the room and opened one of the cabinets. There was a mirror inside that he used to tie his tie.* "I thought you said you had a class to go to after this...?" *He tried to control the smile. He thought it was cute that she had lied about just coming to see him out of the blue. It gave him hope that it could end up as a real relationship.
Jenna Wright - January 24, 2008 11:47 PM (GMT)
Jenna smiled, excited at the prospect of an evening with just Logan. But at his statement her cheeks burned a crimson red. She'd forgotten about that. Well he'd definitely caught her on this one. She smiled, even though she was blushing. "Oh right... Well you caught me on that one! I guess you could say I lied on that one then." She admitted with a soft laugh. "I am actually done for the rest of the day." She hoped that he wouldn't find that weird though.
Logan Corso - February 3, 2008 02:24 PM (GMT)
*Logan laughed and closed the cabinet. He looked over at her and ran a hand through his hair.* "Don't worry about it. I have to get to class, but how about afterwards we go to my appartment and I'll cook us dinner?" *He offered. Logan knew if could be dangerious that he was taking her to his appartment where they'd be alone..and if she declined he would understand, but he also knew that it could move their relationship along.*
Jenna Wright - February 3, 2008 10:14 PM (GMT)
Jenna grinned. It honeslty sounded like a great idea to her. Though of course, she knew that going to his apartment could be dangerous in some ways, but who was she to turn down an offer like that? And besides, she'd never had a guy cook for her before, it would be nice. "That sounds like a great idea. " And there it was again, that nervous little flip in her stomach that she was beginning to get accustomed to.
Logan Corso - February 5, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
*Logan grinned, pleased that she was agreeing to come over to his appartment.* "Alright.....um....just come by the classroom after class is over....or you could just sit in the back......whatever." *He smiled and shrugged.* "But I have to go now....I have to talk to Mei before class starts....so I'll see you later.." *Logan leaned in and gave her a soft kiss on the lips before straightening, blushing slightly, and heading for the door.*
Jenna Wright - February 5, 2008 03:35 AM (GMT)
"Alright. I think I'll come after class is over so I can go and get changed and stuff... " Jenna told him. Quite frankly, she felt a bit awkward sat there with her school uniform on and would much rather be in a pair of jeans any day. "All right... so I'll see you soon I guess." She said, kissing him back, her cheeks turning a soft red. She watched him leave momentarily before heading out herself.
