Title: Brewing Up Trouble
Description: Aiden :]

The air was musky, but at least she had gotten rid of the smell that usually permeated the room. The green splatters on the walls sparkled sinisterly, a warning of a spell gone wrong. The empty classroom was never used; the smell of whatever fungus was growing was usually almost unbearable. Felicity had managed to get it to smell like a slightly damp coat closet, though, and the result was much improved. Her blonde hair was messily piled up and something was splattered under her chin, a frown on her face. She had tried to spruce the faltering potion up before Aiden's arrival, but she had only caused it to splutter angrily and turn a rather disgusting shade of brown.
She stared at the potion as if it had personally insulted her and finally decided to simply wait for Aiden's arrival. Goodness knows it had been bad enough before she had further tampered with it, and she expected that if she continued to try and "fix" it before her friend got there she might damage it irreversibly.
She plopped herself down in an old, empty chair and tapped her fingers on the desk, alternating between glaring at the potion and glancing hopefully at the door in hopes of Aiden's arrival.

*Aiden came down to the room, prepared for disaster. He had at least 5 different books on potion making with him, just to make sure that they would be doing it right. He knew that the potion probably wouldn't be able to get much worse, but he didn't want to take any chances.
When he opened the door, he was not prepared for what he was fully prepared for what he was going to see...but not what he smelled. He cringed and took an immediate step back away from the room.*
Aiden:"Oh God- Felicity, what the h*ll did you do in here?" *he asked, not stepping back into the room. He thought it smelled a lot like something had died and been left to rot.*

Felicity was quick to smile when Aiden walked in, but she frowned when he backed out of the room. She had quite gotten used to it by now, and she thought he wouldn't be complaining so much if he knew how it used to smell.
"Oh, come on you big baby," she said impatiently, "If you only knew what it used to smell like, you wouldn't be complaining."
Nevertheless, she pulled out her wand and began to mutter under her breath, trying to further rid the room of the musky smell. She thought he might have at least complimented her on the fact that obviously, nobody would intrude on them. She finally ran out of spells and stopped, giving the air a tentative sniff.
"Better?" she asked hopefully. She hoped it was, because she was of the firm opinion that if her wandwork couldn't fix it, nobody's could.
Besides that, she was quite sure he was wasting his expressions of disappointment - he hadn't even seen the potion yet.

*The spells only helped a little. He knew that she would be offended or something if he didn't pretend like it was almost entirely better, though. He walked into the room and acted like it was better. He smiled.*
Aiden:"Yeah, it's a lot better now." *he lied. He sauntered over to where the potion was and looked down at it. He raised an eyebrow and looked over at Felicity again*'I didn't realize you needed my help this much." *he teased.*

Felicity allowed herself a satisfied smile at his words. She wasn't entirely sure if she was imagining the lingering smell or if it was just in her nostrils, but she was more concerned about the potion anyway.
"Yeah, I, um, tried to fix it before you got here," she admitted sheepishly, "See, it was this weird orangeish color - which is way closer to the pink it's supposed to be. But I added lacewing flies and beetle eyes and that happened." She pointed to the murky brown potion, biting her lip a bit nervously as it bubbled.
"So, most brilliant and amazing best friend," she continued, her voice pointedly more lighthearted as she threw an arm over his shoulders, "How can we fix it?"
