Title: Transfiguration 2
Lycs Anima - February 2, 2008 05:10 PM (GMT)
Lycs entered the classroom and stared around his perfectly organised desks. Mudbloods, scum, on broken desks at the frot, half-bloods on slightly better desks in the middle and his stars, purebloods, on the perfectly pristine desks at the back of the room. Ah yes, this was the perfectly organised world he needed. Today, however, things were different, set to oe side a large desk with a comfy chair, both in perfect condition, awaited the headmaster for the inspection.
He flicked his wand at the board and the word 'animagus' apeared in white chalk. Now he was ready. He lounged in the chair, much like the one set aside for the headmaster, at the front of the room, waiting for the students. If any failed to show today, the prie would be detention.
Flame Lestrange - February 2, 2008 05:17 PM (GMT)
Harshing. Flame Harshing. It was taking some getting used to. Luckily, it didn't seem that the professors knew yet, which was a bonus. She could get away with not responding to it properly for now at least. She walked into transfiguration, something she had failed to do last lesson, and walked automatically to the back of the room as was the usual thing for her to do. If anyone tried to oppose that they would face living hell- Flame in a bad mood was a disaster.
Now, settled in her seat, at the back of the room,. she looked at the board and smiled. What a great lesson to come to. She knew nothing of any teachers being inspected, so she guessed the desk with a nice chair was for the professors favourite student or something. It did not bother her in thge least.
Coldstone Harshing - February 2, 2008 05:49 PM (GMT)
Coldstone held a clipboard in one hand, a black quill in the other as he walked clean through the wall - like a ghost. One of his many unique abilities. He nodded and sat at the designated seat. "Professor Anima," he nodded to the teacher but disregarded Flame like he had promised he would in the presence of others. Student-Teacher relationship.
He filled out a bit of the form before waiting for the class to arrive. Lateness would be severely punished by Lycs. Harshing couldn't wait.
Flame Lestrange - February 2, 2008 05:58 PM (GMT)
Eyes drifted over her father, but she did not speak or show any acknowledgement at all, in fact, all she did was look mildly interested in his presence and then return to her silent staring into space, wandering why Harshing would even dream of coming into the lesson. But the name rang a bell... Anima... Hadn't he been mentioned in her previous meeting with her father? The one who would raise the death eaters. That was him. She was suprised to see that such a young person had been trusted with that job it seemed so... Different.
Arianna Smith - February 2, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
Her name was Smith- Arianna Smith- a first year Hufflepuff with long, pale blonde hair and big, brown, sparkling eyes. She was about moderate height for her age, but had the figure of the regular cheerleader. Arianna had missed school so far due to her mother being ill, and she looked forwards to her first lesson, blissfully unaware of the professors cruel ways and odd methods. She walked into the classroom, over to the professor and said "Hello, I'm Arianna." before being directed to her seat in the middle of the room.
Melanie Hunter - February 2, 2008 10:34 PM (GMT)
*Aiden entered first, not eager for this class, but wanting to please the professor by showing up on time. If he would have done what he really wanted to do, he wouldn't be showing up at all. He took a seat in one of the awful desks in the very front of the room. Not greeting anyone, because there was no one who he honestly felt like saying hello to. He'd probably be killed if he did, anyway.*
*Lea waltzed into the classroom and took a seat in the back, where the purebloods were to be. She had a smile on her face. She liked this class, the professor seemed so nice....*
Lea:"Good Morning, Professor Anima." *she greeted cheerfully.*"Good Morning, m'am." *she said to Flame. Lastly, she turned to Harshing.*"Good Morning, Headmaster." *she didn't acknowledge Aiden. She didn't know of his relationship with Tristan yet.If she did, she would have greeted him, but now, she only saw him as a mudblood. Aiden pretended not to notice this.*
*Melanie walked in next, a small smile on her face, but it was nothing compared to Lea's expression. She wasn't showing it, but she was hurting...a lot. She didn't even know it herself because she was trying to hard to put up a mask.*
Melanie:"Hello, Professor. Hello, Headmaster." *she unwillingly greeted Harshing. She still despised him, and it was clear through the acid in her voice. She took a seat in the middle of the room, just as she has been warned to by her brothers.*

Coldstone Harshing - February 3, 2008 11:17 AM (GMT)
Harshing was too busy to greet anyone else. He was fascinated by the separation of blood types in the classroom. A Masterstroke. Genius. By separating Lycs had successfully branded each and every student, thereby starting off a chain of superiority. He smiled watching the students go to their places, without argument, without discussion. They obeyed. Purebloods at the back, it gave them liberties. Mudbloods at the front, they had no freedom and would have to work the hardest. Halfs in the middle. A flawless system of fragmentation. Fragmentation meant competition. Competition meant excellence.
Lycs Anima - February 3, 2008 12:25 PM (GMT)
For the most part he ignored the students, just watched the time, waiting until it was exactly the time the lesson was supposed to start. In fact, apart from to tell one studemt where to sit, the only acknowedgement he gave everyone was the headmaster, and even then it was not immediate. He waited a few minutes before crossing the room to his cousin.
"Headmaster, I would like to welcome you to our class." he said in a liud voice, and then moved back to the front of the room.
"Last lesson was, in a word, a disaster. I will not have the same again this lesson. You will speak, only when asked a direct question. Your wands will remain in your bags until you are told to remove them and you will not fiddle r mess around in any way." he glared around. "Do I make myself clear?"
Kristoph Zephr - February 3, 2008 05:13 PM (GMT)
Kris entered the classroom and sat at the back of the classroom, taking out his things. He noticed the headmaster. Double Trouble. Lycs was psycho. Harshing was psycho. He guessed they got on like a house on fire. Literally. Kris put the date at the top of a piece of parchment and proceeded to make a little drawing of a broomstick next to it.
Fawne Sugarmoon - February 4, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
Fawne had entered the classroom with the throng of others, choosing to sit at the back as instructed but as far away from the distraction of the window as possible. After all she had spotted the headmaster in the room and she had no intention of invoking one of the harsh punishments; she was not as stupid as she was treated. She didn't speak to anyone and merely sat very still at her desk an absent misty look in her eyes, nodding slightly only to show she acknowledged the professors comment. Yes she understood.
---------------------------------------
Guinn thankfully had entered at the start of the lesson so she was not late. She hated sitting at the front of the room but the Ravenclaw would not be stating her complaints to the professor Anima; in all honesty both him and the headmaster gave her the creeps. She was sat on the very back row of the muggle born seats, after all he mother may have been a witch so she could have been a half-blood. When the professor asked if he was clear she was so absorbed in her own thoughts that the tom boy's mouth replied on automatic and she announced in a normal, thankfully respectful, tone of voice.
"Yes Professor"
---------------------------------------
Craven had entered the room shortly after his sister, his head held high and a smug look on his features. He liked this lesson, he liked the seating plan and he liked the teacher. He sat at the very back of the room, furthest row he could; quite happy to express his delight at being a pureblood, at his superiority over the other students. It gave him a warm feeling to be above others in the ranks of the room. He watched Lycs intently, showing rapt attention and a bit of admiration. Both Lycs and the Headmaster were two people he respected. So when his voice spoke in affirmation it was quite clear he respected them.
"Of course sir."
Lycs Anima - February 4, 2008 06:18 PM (GMT)
Note: from this point on, anyone who posts that isn't already in will be classed as late.
He paced the room, staring at each muggleborn coldly, each halfblood with mild dislike, and those of pure blood with a sparkle of pride in his eyes. So these were the students smart enough to turn up, and on time, were they? He paced past Kristoph's desk, stared at the parchment, took his wand from his cloak pocket and pointed it at the paper. The drawing disappreared.
"Doodling will not be tolerated." he said. "Even from those of the purest blood. Don't do it again." A verbal warning, more than what the muggleborns or halfbloods would get, was muttered in the Gyrfindor's ear. "10 points from Gryffindor." he said, louder now, as he continued around the room.
"Today we will be talking about the art through which wizards can turn to animals. I am talking, of course, about what, Craven?" he asked the Slytherin he had seen before on more than one occasion.
Melanie Hunter - February 4, 2008 08:42 PM (GMT)
*Melanie refrained from sighing when he announced the subject. Of course, animagi. It was too easy for her now that she was an animagus, but at least it would hold her interest. Maybe the professor would even use her as an example....No, Harshing was there. He would never do something that would in any way glorify her (or do anything but harm her) in front of him.*
*Aiden, on the other hand, was very interested. The art of the animagi was so interesting...he honestly wished he was one himself, he just didn't have the time or concentration skill it took to learn how. He payed close attention to what Anima had to say.*
*Lea was already taking notes on the class, as if she was writing down every word and action of the people in the room. The thought of learning about animagi was uninteresting to her because she had already learned about them on her own. Learning how to become one, on the other hand....*

Fawne Sugarmoon - February 6, 2008 05:37 AM (GMT)
Craven showed not outward awkwardness at being asked, but of course he wouldn't because shock was not a very pureblood reaction. He kept his back straight and his held held high as he spoke, though still showing respect to Anima.
"Animagi sir" Her considered tacking a bit on about how difficult and rare the process was but he choose to answer the directed question only. Though the fact he had more knowledge seemed to show in his eyes; making him look even more like the smug slytherin.
--------------
Fawne's curly loopy script littered her page as she wrote; she was writing what seemed to be random sections of what Anima was saying. Although her eyes seemed far away she was actually quite interested in this topic. If only because she wondered what it was like to be in an animal form; did you think more like an animal too?
--------------
Guinn, although a Ravenclaw, wasn't one for taking excessive notes. And although she found the topic an intresting one, it wasn't new and therefore all she had done so far was write a title and a very brief definition of the word Animagi. It was unlikely she would write much more too...
Lycs Anima - February 6, 2008 05:02 PM (GMT)
Lycs glanced over the class lazily, low numbers, easier to work with, but annoying that he was missing so many. He shouldn't have even thought about it- even now he was begining to count up the detentions this would mean, and if he put anyone in detention, he'd have to take it- great, just great.
But then Craven answered and he was calm again, in the perfect setting of his arranged classroom. "Right you are, take five points for Slytherin." he glanced around. "And can anyone in this room define what an amangi is?" he would, of course, choose a pureblood to answer... If any of them volunteered.
Melanie Hunter - February 6, 2008 07:57 PM (GMT)
*Melanie lazily raised her hand, but Lea's shot up like a speeding bullet even though she hadn't looked up from her notes. Aiden just watched. He had a feeling that he would be given a detention for any little thing he would say wrong, like if he said 'um' or 'uh' in the sentence or the wording wasn't exactly how Anima wanted it.*

Tyler Arden - February 9, 2008 01:04 AM (GMT)
Tyler burst into the classroom gasping for air. Her hair was a scruffy red mess around her face and her cheeks were flushed. She had woken up extremely late and ran all the way to class. She knew how Proffessor Anima was about being late even if she was pureblood. She stopped sprinting and entered the classroom as calmly as possible and strutted the rest of the way to her seat in the back of the room taking slow breaths to brace herself for the piunishment that was sure to come.
