Title: DADA 3

Logan Corso - February 5, 2008 03:41 AM (GMT)
ooc: i'm pretending like the other one didn't happen since like...nobody showed up and we never got to the actual lesson.

*Logan sighed and sat on his desk with his feet up on it, as usual, waiting for the class to arrive so they could start. They would finally be able to have a propper lesson now that everything with the family was over. He drummed his fingers on his knee and waited patiently.*

Coldstone Harshing - February 5, 2008 06:08 PM (GMT)
Harshing swooped, dressed smartly in his purple mock-king robes. He nodded at Logan and paced to the back of the class where a desk and chair appeared. A quill and paper also formed and he wrote down the date and the teacher name.

Logan Corso - February 6, 2008 12:58 AM (GMT)
*Logan hesitated a moment, confused, before standing and slowly moving to the back of the class room. He ran a hand through his hair and pulled his tie tighter.* "Er, excuse me professor....but may I ask what you're doing here?" *He said, trying to sound as patient and respectful as possible.*

Flame Lestrange - February 7, 2008 01:26 PM (GMT)
Flame walked into the room, on time, having failed to turn up to this lesson since the new professor had turned up. Her eyes, stone grey, lay cold and unstirring in their sockets, and her uniform was not as perfect as usual, the Slytherin tie closer to her stomach than her neck and nothing placed in perfection as would be normal. She saw Harshing, her father and headmaster of the school and gave a slight incline of her head, parading to the back of the room and sitting down, staring into space. Corso got no acknowledgement.

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 03:02 PM (GMT)
*Logan sighed and turned away from Harshing, who was obviously set on ignoring him. He walked back to the front of the room and started sorting through the papers on his desk, looking for the one that the notes were written on. Logan sat back down on the corner of his desk and stared at the wall, his foot bouncing in the air nerviously*

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
Harshing looked up then stood up, his hand swiftly moving his glasses. ALl about theatrics, was Harshing - you build them up then drag them down. He moved from his desk and to the front of the classroom like a panther, softly, calmly yet with an edge of danger.

"Professor Corso, I do not need your permission to be in any room of my own school," he stared at him for several moments, "But as you asked so...delicately I shall answer your rather idiotic question. These little visits are going to be quite frequent. I am not convinced that your teaching standards meet my requirements so I am here to show you how its done."

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 04:37 PM (GMT)
"You're not sure my teaching standards are up to your standard?" *He said in disbelief* "And what do you base that judgment off of? Just because Iagree with you about torturing the students if they get out of line?" *Logan sighed and set his paper aside.* "And what if you don't approve of my teaching methods?"

Melanie Hunter - February 12, 2008 04:46 PM (GMT)
*Lea entered the room, glad that she could take a seat in the front of the room, which she preferred to the back. In Professor Anima's class, she was forced to sit in the back. She didn't even notice the argument going on between the two authority figures.*
Lea:"Good morning," *she greeted them in her light, cheery voice before going to pull out her parchment, quill, and ink to take notes (yes, she even took notes in DADA).*

*Aiden walked into the room, looking around as if he was expected to by sorted and rated by his blood type in this class, too. He walked towards the middle of the room. If anyone stopped him, he would know that he was going to be forced to go through hell yet again.*

*Melanie stepped into the room and immediately wanted to leave. Harshing was there, of course she didn't want to be there. She would be miserable the entire class....At least he's not teaching this class anymore. She reminded herself. Still, as long as he was there, she knew she would have something very painful happen to her.*

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 04:54 PM (GMT)
Harshing walked back to his seat while Logan was still talking, "I'm giving you the chance to change them over the next few lessons to comply with new standards. If you refuse to change you shall be arrested. For heresy." Harshing made a gesture as if to begin, he had spoke the final word on the matter. A class was waiting. Harshing was ready to assess.

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 05:13 PM (GMT)
*Logan ground his teeth together and slid off of the front o the desk. He knew that if he did what he wanted to (which was attack Harshing) if he wasn't killed, he would would be arrested. So logan just took a deep breath and let it out slowly.* "Alright.....Today we're starting our dark creatures unit. There arn't many notes on this unit from your previous teachers..." *Logan looked at Harshing pointedly* "So I think we'll start with some of the more dangerious ones so we can be sure to get in the important ones in the time we have."

Melanie Hunter - February 12, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
*Off went Azalea's hand, quickly writing down every word that Logan said in a ridiculously neat script. Dark creatures...she shivered. Things like werewolves and vampires, maybe. They scared her so much. She would never be able to talk to a vampire, even if it took the 'vegetarian' (animal blood only) diet. They deserved to be shunned.*

*Aiden was mildly surprised that he wasn't being yelled at for sitting in the middle of the room. So surprised that he completely missed what Professor Corso had just said. He looked around again, as if he thought the window would whisper to him what had just been said.*

*Melanie silently groaned. Dark Creatures. It would be another hate speech about how awful vampires and werewolves are. She was a rare breed herself- someone who could say that they were friends with both creatures. Dorien wasn't exactly her friend...but they still got on well. Well...when she wasn't sobbing and pouring her heart out at him. He didn't seem to enjoy that very much. Despite this, Melanie didn't want to hear anything else about how evil and disgusting vampires were. Part of it was how she was raised, but the biggest part was that it would be a direct insult to people she cared about.*

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
Harshing smiled. Not many previous notes eh... He laughed inside. The guy's attempt at sarcasm was poor. Dark creatures. Should be illuminating. He hoped that he would follow Protector prescribed teaching of Dark Creatures... which he had to say was extremely fair now. Since the eradication of the family dark creatures was taught very delicatly.

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 06:09 PM (GMT)
"Right. We'll start with werewolves...." *Logan walked around to the other side of his desk and opened the bottem drawer. He pulled out a folder marked 'dark creatures notes' and opened it. Logan pulled out the werewolf notes and handed them to the kid sitting int he front row.* "Pass those out, yeah?" *He said, then walked back to lean on the front of his desk.* "Can someone tell me the difference between an animagus and a werewolf?"

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
Harshing collected the sheets with the notes on a flicked through them while he listened to the world famous Dark Creatures question. He looked back at the teacher, his eyes picking out the unclean features - unshaven hair and no... not creases on the shirt. His whole figure was unprofessional. He made a note of it, his face wrinkling in disgust.

Harshing was wondering why he wasn't making the children write the notes down. Harshing burst in - "Collect the notes back up child, I am sure Professor Corso would like you to make personalised notes in order for better comprehension. Thank you."

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 06:19 PM (GMT)
'No, actaully, I'm sure professor corso would prefer the students all have a copy of the notes so he can be sure they all have the necessary information for their exam. Don't collect up the notes." *Logan spoke through clenched teeth*

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 06:25 PM (GMT)
Harshing stood up, his tongue licking his bottom lip frantically. "Perhaps, but Headmaster Harshing would prefer it that pupils made individual notes and that Professor Corso's notes be used as revision at the end of the year. Perhaps Professor Corso would like to reconsider his notion?" Harshing looked him directly in the eye, his own tear swimming with black hatred towards the man.

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 06:36 PM (GMT)
"This isn't your class. You don't have the right to dictate how each teacher teaches. Incase you haven't noticed, you're not the teacher of defence against the dark arts anymore." *Logan had stood up, his stance wide as if he was ready to punch harshing.*

Aiden Pritchard - February 12, 2008 06:37 PM (GMT)
*Lea was torn. Should she or should she not pass out the notes. It was a horrible decision. She started to cry because no matter what she did someone would be upset. She was shaking, looking between Corso and Harshing.*

*Melanie was angry with Harshing being so demanding, and then the little girl started to cry and her heart broke. She couldn't handle seeing kids cry. She was sitting only a row behind the girl, so she stood up, not caring what Harshing would do to her, and rushed over to her, trying to calm her down.*

Melanie:"It's okay, you don't need to cry, honey. Here, I'll take the papers, you won't have to worry about anything; they'll yell at me, instead."

*Mel ended up making everything worse. Corso had specifically told her to pass out the papers, and she felt like giving them to someone else meant that she was failing him.*

*Aiden watched what was happening. He felt bad for Lea- Tristan had told him more about her, and she really did seem like a sweet girl. Very confused, but sweet. He groaned whenever Mel attempted to help her. It was typical of Mel to try and help someone and end up making things worse. He knew this very well since they were in the same year and occasionally had to work together.*

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 06:43 PM (GMT)
"SIT DOWN Professor Corso!" Harshing's voice was magically magnified... the windows shattered with its loudness. His wand was out now, twitching beside his robe. "Do you not realise Professor Corso that this is not about who is more powerful or whose class it is, it is about moulding better teachers. I am here to construct the best School in the world out of idle staff and subhuman children. Yes, a near impossible task. I can only do this through unquestionable control."

As soon as he heard Mel he waved his wand and her desk exploded into smithereens. "You are on your first warning.." He smiled, his eyes tingling. He looked at Corso. "Professor Corso. The children will not be receiving notes. They shall make them as you speak and guide the lesson."

Logan Corso - February 12, 2008 07:09 PM (GMT)
*Logan didn't move. He watched as his class went to chaos.* "You want a good school? The lesson would have gone fine if you wouldn't have shown up. Don't you see what you've done to the class?" *Logan looked around at the broken desk and windows with the crying students and wasted notes.*

Coldstone Harshing - February 12, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)
Harshing was fuming. Corso was not backing down. "Corso," Yes - all politeness had gone through the window, he moved from his desk up to the man. "From now on your lesson plans shall have to be approved by me at least 24 hours in advance. You have proven yourself to be a complete sham of a teacher, unable to hold the classes attention for more than 10 minutes. This doesnt even reach Troll standard."

Several other desks blew up,

Logan Corso - February 22, 2008 02:28 AM (GMT)
"I am NOT a bad teacher!" *He roared over the noise in the room. Logan hated to yell, but he felt that in this particular situation it was necessary.* "JUST because I have the balls to stand up to your....tyrany.....doesn't mean i should have to be subjected to your tests!" *Even as he spoke he was regretting it*

Coldstone Harshing - February 22, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
Harshing was about to throw an insult at him when he stopped and smiled. "I am issuing you an official verbal warning as your employer," he almost whispered it. "Tread carefully Torso, another mishap may cost you more than your job..."

He smiled around the classroom. "Mel Detention." He sweeped majestically from the room, the door slamming behind him.

Melanie Hunter - February 22, 2008 08:16 PM (GMT)
*Melanie turned away from Lea and snapped her head in Harshing's direction. She looked deeply offended and confused.*

Melanie:"For what?" *she asked, being as polite as she possibly could. It took every ounce of her strength not to scream at him.*

Logan Corso - February 24, 2008 11:35 PM (GMT)
ooc: he already left dummy. lol

*Logan sighed and shrugged. He put his elbows on the desk and rested his head in his hands.* "I'm sorry Mel...I would say you don't have to go, but I'm afraid we would both be worse off...." *Logan took a deep breath and then stood up. He pulled out his wand and started to repain a few things. Eventually he stopped, giving up. His hands dropped back to his sides and he looked around.* "I'd really like to continue with the lesson....but I would understand if you guys arn't able to."
