After Logan had gone off to teach his class, Jenna had rushed up to her common rooms and tried to find an outfit that would suffice with her date with Logan. After much trying on of outfits she finally come to conclusion of a pair of jeans and a cute longsleeve shirt. She hadn't bothered much with her hair, instead she'd just left it down and wavy.
She was uncommonly nervous about spending the evening at Logan's apartment, of course it would be fun, but that didn't stop her from being nervous. She'd never really been alone with a guy in their apartment before, which made her feel the student/teacher gap more than ever. But it couldn't be so bad could it?
Jenna made her way to Logan's classroom, getting there a few minutes after class had been let out just as she'd promised she would.

*Logan was seated at his desk, writing. His hair was a mess and his face was pale. Logan had just gone through a rough lesson with Harshing and it showed. e looked worn and stressed. At first, he didn't even hear Jenna come in. He only saw her once he slipped the papers into the desk and stood up, glancing around the room, looking a little lost. When he saw Jenna he let out a sigh and half smiled.* "Hey Jenna...I'll just be a minute." *He had to work to keep his voice steady*

When Jenna caught sight of Logan she couldn't help but be worried. A frown fell across her features, he didn't look too good at all. She wondered what could've happened during his lesson that would shake him up this badly. It took him a moment to acknowledge her presence, which worried her even further. "ARe you alright?" Jenna asked, the concern she felt not only showing in her expression but also in her voice.

*Hearing and seeing the concern from Jenna, Logan wondered how bad he really looked.* "Yeah....yeah, I'm okay...." *Logan picked his keys up off his desk and slipped them into his pocket* "Harshing was here ....the class was a diaster....." *Logan pulled on his coat and crossed to her, trying to control his facial expressions.* "How're you?" *He took her hand and led her out of the room, pulling the door shut behind him*

Jenna watched up as he got his keys from his desk and walked over to her, hearing the name Harshing seemed to make everything click. It was no wonder, really, that he wasn't looking so good. "Oh jeez. What happened?" It was probably a good thing then, that she'd decided not to sit in the back of classroom and instead went to get ready. She couldn't but smile, however, when he took her hand. She gave his hand a small squeeze, maybe as a gesture of reassurance.

"It started when I passed out pre-written notes to the class so I could be sure that the class had all the notes that they would need for the test..." *Logan paused as they rounded a corner and started descending the steps.* "It's not like they couldn't add to them...anyway, he freaked out....I couldn't keep my mouth shut which I guess I should have....he flipped a few deskks, a few people cried, and h e broke some stuff.....He'll probably sack me a in a few days..." *Logan sighed and glanced over at her* "I'm sorry...it's probably weird for you to listen to my teaching problems...."

Jenna frowned. That sounded awful, and to be honest, she really was glad that she hadn't been there, though she didn't say that. In any case, Harshing's latest actions angered her even further, and yet made her feel more hopeless than ever. "That doesn't sound like a good lesson at all." She said sympathetically. "Harshing'a crazy, and you did what could. At least you have the guts to stand up to him." She hoped that her words would be reassuring, or at least make Logan feel a little bit better. "I doubt he'll sack you, ... And don't worry about it, I don't mind. Honest"

*Logan smiled and ran his thumb over the back of her hand that he was holding.* "Thank you.....that's a relief to know.." *They had reached the Entrance hall. He opened the door and held it open for her before walking through it himself and closing it behind them* "Geeze it's freezing out here...." *Logan's coat was very thin and wasn't protecting him from the cold very much.* "At least it's not far...." *Logan felt a jolt of nervious energy jolt through his body.* "So, what're you in the mood for for dinner?"

Jenna smiled, giving his hand a small squeeze as he ran his thumb over the back of her hand. “Don’t worry about it.” She said looking up at him. She really hoped that he didn’t lose his job, that would be awful. “Thanks” She told him as he held the door open for her and she stepped through. The blast of cold air hit, making her shiver. She nodded in agreement to Logan’s statement. “It’s so cold,” she said, moving closer to him for warmth. She was glad to hear that it wasn’t too far to get to his apartment. She felt a nervous, yet excited, flip in her stomach at the thought of going in his apartment. “Anything really. I’m not a picky eater. What are you in the mood for?” Jenna asked, she really didn’t mind what they had, anything was good as far as she was concerned.

"Hm.........I was thinking maybe kielbausi (sp? lol) with macaroni....or chicken and potatoes.......it's up to you...i'm fine with either one..." *Logan let go of her hand and wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close.*
Jenna Wright - February 24, 2008 11:32 PM (GMT)
"Mmm those both sound yummy. Hm, I think kielbausi and macaroni sounds better." Jenna smiled, moving even closer to him, and leaning her head on his shoulder. She felt that much warmer just for being closer to him.
