Mei sighed with content as with a flick of her wand she placed the cloth over the last tank on the tables.; one tank was set out per table and each were covered with a cloth. A surprise as such for the class.
Although her classroom was based inside she was determined to bring the creatures inside also. Since it was still cold outside she had no intentions of holding lessons out there just yet. The classroom was still set out much like before, large grouped tables rather than individual desks, stone floor and many books lining the edges of the room; though neatly on shelves.
She replaced her wand into the folds of her neatly worn robe. She stood at the front of her classroom, eyes fixated on the open door waiting for her class.
Harshing walked in nodded his head and released his wad of paper onto a desk which materialised from nothing. He sat down and made a few notes before waiting for the children to come it. "Interesting lay out," he commented sarcastically. He couldnt wait to see how poorly it worked. Children. In groups - it would never work.
She stared at him, not disrespectfully but perplexed. It took a moment for her to remember he was choosing to inspect classes now, so he could better Hogwarts teaching standards. When he commented on the layout she could hear the sarcasm laced in his words and although she wasn't quite sure what think of that , she was not going to let him criticize her class before the students were even there. Even if she did it in her ever polite ways
"Good Morning Headmaster...Indeed, i find the layout most useful; it has worked for many professors before me when teaching my subject." Her voice was carefully blank and she purposefully ignored his sarcasm. She turned and rearrange items on her desk, waiting for the first students.
