Title: Sheet of Darkness
Description: Jenna

Aiden Pritchard - February 18, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
*Aiden was sitting indian style against one of the cold stone walls of the dungeons. He had come here to get away from all of the people trying to curse him or make fun of him because he was a muggleborn. He knew that the dungeons were really no safer than anywhere else in the castle, but at least he could feel safe under his safety blanket of darkness. He knew it was useless to attempt reading in the light (or lack thereof), so he had resorted to counting the bricks in the wall across from him. It wasn't entertaining, but at least it wasn't painful or annoying.*

Jenna Wright - February 18, 2008 01:55 AM (GMT)
Jenna was bored, well boredom hardly seemed to fit the definition at this point. She was really really bored. So in order to entertain herseld she decided a little wander about the castle couldn't do any harm. Eventually she ended up in the dungeons, it wasn't exactly the best place be considering the state of things, but she figured that it wouldn't hurt to be down there for a just a little while.

The dark seemed to seep into every corner, so Jenna held out her wand before her, muttering "lumos," illuminating the path before. She hadn't been in the dungeons long before she spotted a lone figure seated on the floor and leaning against the wall. At first she thought him to be a slytherin and almost left. But as she neared she saw that he wasn't a slytherin and so decided to approach him.

"Hey" Jenna said, as she walked up to him.

Aiden Pritchard - February 18, 2008 02:12 AM (GMT)
*Aiden responded mainly because she had stepped in front of the last stone he had counted, but also out of courtesy*
Aiden:"Hey." *he was obviously bored and annoyed.*"What are you down here for? A detention?" *he asked. Rather than going out and asking 'are you here to torture me, too?' which would have been offensive and standoffish.*

Jenna Wright - February 18, 2008 02:18 AM (GMT)
Jenna sensed that Aiden perhaps preferred to be left alone, but the fact that he responded kept her there, hoping to spark some form of conversation ."Well not exactly no. I'm just bored, and i hadn't been down here in a while. and i just kind of end up here...." Jenna explained, her voice soft and almost shy, though it was her normal character. Jenna was usually loud and bubbly, but for some reason it didn't seem right to be loud in the dungeons

Aiden Pritchard - February 18, 2008 02:31 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Oh. I'm trying to get away from the monsters Harshing made out of the students. They're vicious- anything I do they find a way to use it against me. The teachers are to blame. They aren't stopping this at all, some of them are even encouraging it."

Jenna Wright - February 18, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
Jenna sat next to Aiden, a forwn falling across her features. It seemed that he was having a harder time of things than most of the other students. "I'm sorry. Seems like you've got it harder than any of the others" Jenna said symoathetically, hoping he wouldn't take offense to her symoathy. "The teachers can't really do anything, you know. If they try and do anything Harshing would honestly murder them. Granted, some of the teachers actually support Harshing, but you'd be surprised by how many hate Harshing as much as we do."

Aiden Pritchard - February 18, 2008 02:50 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Probably." *he answered vaguely*"To both of your statements." *he smiled through all of this, wanting to change the mood*"Can't dwell on it, though. I'm guessing you're against Harshing, too."

Jenna Wright - February 18, 2008 02:56 AM (GMT)
Just the mention of Harshing's name these days made her scowl. "Yea." Said Jenna rather shortly. She hated that man with every ounce of fiber she had. She had never known that it was possible to hold a hatred as strong as hers. But apparently it was. "He's crazy and doesn't deserve to have anything to do with this school."

Aiden Pritchard - February 18, 2008 07:06 PM (GMT)
Aiden:"Exactly. He's corrupting the teachers, too; They have no choice but to do what he says. There's only two that are decent any more...and one who is decent but drives me crazy." *he was referring to Professor Cameron, who was perfectly insane. She annoyed him to no end.*"I'm just going to assume that you know who I'm talking about."

Jenna Wright - February 19, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
Jenna laughed, she knew who he was talking about of course. Everyone thought that Professor Cameron was crazy, but because she didn't like Harshing the students put aside her craziness, she was better than Professor Anima any day. "I'll admit, though, I think there are more than two that are decent" She argued. Of course, everybody had different opinions on who were the decent teachers, but she'd been in an argumentive mood recently. She normally wouldn't of bothered arguing over a topic such as this.

Aiden Pritchard - February 19, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Well, yeah, there's three." *he corrected himself*"Corso, Feng, and Cameron. Granted, there's classes that I don't take so I don't know a few of the teachers, but, from my experience...." *he trailed off*"This pureblood supremacy is bloody insane. I'm failing at least three courses because of it." *he said this with a scowl. It wasn't because of poor work, it was because of 'poor blood'.*

Jenna Wright - February 19, 2008 02:51 AM (GMT)
Jenna couldn't help but smile when he listed Corso. Of course she thought he was a decent guy, and it was good to hear that others did too. She nodded in agreement, her smile slipping slightly as he went on. "I agree. This is all insane. You can't grade a student based on blood. I'm failing quite a few too, this is the first time in my life that I've ever failed anything." It had been quite a pang to Jenna. She'd been so thoroughly disliked by a teacher before, and particularly over a blood issue. She was a muggleborn, and at these times it didn't seem like being muggleborn was a good thing anymore.

Aiden Pritchard - February 19, 2008 03:03 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Same here!" *he added enthusiastically.*"It's ridiculous...sitting in the front of the class, heavier punishment- they're ruining are chances at surviving in the real world and all because of prejudice." *he was excited that there was another muggleborn that he could complain about this with. At least...he assumed she was muggleborn. Why else would she be failing the classes because of this?*

Jenna Wright - February 19, 2008 03:12 AM (GMT)
Jenna's smile grew some more. It felt good not to be alone in this. "Well, we're still learning aren't we? We can still be better than everyone, even if we are failing our classes." Jenna was optimistic as always. Even at the worst of times she had the ability to see the silver lining on the cloud. Sometimes it was hard to see that silver lining, but she always searched for it. SHe couldn't stand being pessimistic, because it meant giving up, and that was something she wasn't prepared to do. "And I guess we just have to work harder at staying out of trouble"

Aiden Pritchard - February 19, 2008 03:29 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"I got in trouble for being early to a class the other day'; I don't think that's possible." *there he went, being pessimistic again. Once he thought that there was no way out of something, he rarely changed his mind.*"You know, I almost want to try doing something horrible to see what they do about it." *he smiled*"It would be painful...but worth it."

Jenna Wright - February 19, 2008 03:35 AM (GMT)
Jenna frowned. That was just plain stupid. How could anyone get in trouble for being early? It was just ridiculous. She laughed, though, just getting in trouble for being early was a completely idiotic idea. She shook her head, this school was going to the dumps, and she was glad she was able to get out soon. "Well, if you need a partner in crime I'd be glad to help you. I think it'd be worth it in the end. I'm almost out of here anyways. I'm sick of trying to be good all of the time too."

Melanie Hunter - February 19, 2008 03:43 AM (GMT)
*Aiden grinned*
Aiden:"Seriously? You would risk them torturing you to death? Because I'm thinking of something serious...like fornicating in a classroom...or ripping Harshing's pants off...writing an entire essay making fun of Harshing...or just general fooling around, making people's lives harder than they need to be."

*None of the ideas were particularly horrible except for the sex one, but if being early was an issue, those things certainly would be.*

Jenna Wright - February 19, 2008 03:46 AM (GMT)
Jenna laughed. she couldn't help it. Those were some of the craziest ideas she'd ever heard. She was thinking smaller than that, but enough to get into trouble. "Ok, maybe not tortured to death. And I don't think I go for any of the nudity there either. But if you need help with anything else I'd gladly do that." Her offer was still up for grabs of course. It would definitely be fun creating some trouble around here. She had to leave her legacy after all. And she couldn't let Hogwarts go down without a fight.

Melanie Hunter - February 19, 2008 03:50 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Of course I'll need help. Getting into trouble is always better in groups- more chaos. Plus, I'd look like a complete arse if it was just me." *he joked*"More ideas, too. You probably have some great ones that I haven't even considered yet."

Jenna Wright - February 19, 2008 03:54 AM (GMT)
Jenna grinned. This was great. She could actually do something now. She could stop feeling useless and actually do something. It felt so good. "Well I don't have any ideas yet. But just give me some time and I should be able to think of something.' She paused and looked at Aiden. "You know, I don't even know your name. I'm Jenna Wright" She said introducing herself, feeling bad that she hadn't done so before.

Melanie Hunter - February 23, 2008 03:40 AM (GMT)
*Aiden laughed*
Aiden:"Yeah, I kind of forgot about that part. It's pretty hard to be partners in crime whenever you have no idea who the other person is. Nice to meet you Jenna, I'm Aiden Pritchard."

Jenna Wright - February 23, 2008 03:53 AM (GMT)
Jenna grinned, "Definitely brings up some complexities, I'll agree to that. Well nice to meet you Aiden." She was glad that she'd stopped to talk to him now. He seemed like a really nice guy, and now she had a partner in crime. v

Melanie Hunter - February 25, 2008 01:37 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"So what house are you in...so maybe I can find you again at dinner or whatever and we can start planning our first attack." *He said this sinisterly, jokingly raising his eyebrows, but breaking into a huge smile soon after.*

Kaelynn Berge - February 25, 2008 02:29 AM (GMT)
"I'm a hufflepuff" Jenna admitted, "What about you, in case I should need to find you?" She couldn't help but laugh as he raised his eyebrows. "We seem to have a lot of planning to do." Her mood had lightened considerably in comparison to the morning, and even since first venturing within the dungeons.

Aiden Pritchard - February 25, 2008 02:37 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Ravenclaw. That works out great, because, as long as we sit on the right side of our tables, we can whisper secret plans to each other." *he smiled yet again, mischievously this time. He couldn't help it- he hadn't had an idea as exciting as this in quite a long time.*

OOC: I've just always assumed that the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tables are next to eachother. lol.

Jenna Wright - February 25, 2008 03:43 AM (GMT)
OOC: that sounds about right. i see them being in the middle... slytherin and gryffindor on the ends...

IC:

Jenna grinned, she hadn't even thought of that. She only hoped that the teachers didn't pick up on it all, particularly Harshing. "That hadn't even occured to me." She looked at Aiden, if things went well, then these last couple months of school could really be enjoyable, instead of dreaded.

Aiden Pritchard - February 25, 2008 04:00 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Oh, he probably will, but who cares? It'll just give him another reason to hate us. If you really want to be more secretive, though, we can send letters to each other, but talking in person is a lot simpler." *he pointed out.*"I personally prefer doing whatever the h*ll I feel like doing, and if he notices...well, we'll just have to think of something else."

Jenna Wright - February 25, 2008 09:52 PM (GMT)
Jenna looked at him thoughtfully, he was right. If they got caught, well that could actually work in theirfavor. Besides, it would be fun seeing how much they could do without getting caught. It was like a game almost. "I think it would more interesting if we weren't so secretive about it," Jenna told him, a mischevious smile forming, "It makes things a little more interesting."

Aiden Pritchard - February 27, 2008 04:05 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Oh definitely!" *he exclaimed, still grinning.*"Then we'll at least be able to get credit for what we do, which is basically what everyone secretly dreams of doing, they just don't have enough guts to go out and do it."*he burst out into laughter*"God, this is going to be so great! My parents will kill me when they find out, but who cares?"

Jenna Wright - February 28, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
Aiden had a very good point, besides being caught, it would be kind of cool to of that mark on the school. People would know her for standing up to Harshing, and that was something worth being known for. "You're parents will kill you? My whole family would murder me!! But it's so worth it!! This is gonna be awesome though, and so worth the consequences" Jenna exclaimed happily.

Melanie Hunter - March 1, 2008 02:23 AM (GMT)
Aiden:"Oh, definitely. If I'm going to be punished, it might as well be because I was having fun. We should make our first move as soon as possible, but it has to be huge- epic. We aren't known for anything yet, so they need to know exactly what they're dealing with."

Jenna Wright - March 6, 2008 11:38 PM (GMT)
Jenna grinned, everything he said was true. Everything that they'd talked about was something she'd always wanted to do but never had the guts to do it. Now that she had a partner in crime she felt that she had the guts to do something worthwhile. "You're right. What kind of big?" She was still trying to think of ideas. They could flood the school, or at least a part of it, but that really wasn't that big.

Aiden Pritchard - March 9, 2008 08:27 PM (GMT)
*Aiden pondered this for a moment. Then inspiration struck him.*
Aiden:"We can sneak into the Slytherin common room and completely trash it...spray paint things about how horrible Harshing is all over it. They'll never know it's us since we'll use the polyjuice potion and look like different people...but we could always sign our names or something. That might just make us look stupid, though."

Jenna Wright - March 9, 2008 08:52 PM (GMT)
Jenna's face brightend at Aiden's idea. "That sounds great!!!" she paused as she realized something. "But how are we going to get the password to get into the coomn rooms? Or get the stuff to make the polyjuice potion." She decided not to add the fact that the potion would take two weeks to make. She liked the idea, but there were a lot of things that they were going to have to get around before it could actually work.

Aiden Pritchard - March 9, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
Aiden:"Easy. We steal the potion from the school's supply during one of our potions classes. We get hair from two Slytherins. I even have one in mind- Jesse Watkins." *when he said Jesse's name, Aiden's expression lost some of it's excitement as distaste came into it's place.*"He's the Slytherin man-whore. As long as we find a Slytherin girl walking around, we can get the password."

Jenna Wright - March 9, 2008 09:35 PM (GMT)
The problems she'd brought up were apparently no problem at all. He had it all planned out. Whe Jenna spoke the excitement and anticipation was apparent in her voice. "OK. So I need to find a Slytherin that I can get a hair from and imitate reasonably well. Stealing the supplies shouldn't be too hard. Between now and then we might even find some other things to do to rouse some trouble. We could use a symbol or something that we use as a mark every time we do something..."

Melanie Hunter - March 14, 2008 04:37 PM (GMT)
Aiden:"Yes, that's brilliant!" *he exclaimed*"I can do some research...look for something awesome but still appropriate. I'll just need to find a Runes book in the library. Unless you have any ideas of course," *He added. Who knew, maybe she had something in mind.*

OOC: I've already done my research. lol. YAY SUPER DORK! Anyway, if you want to see my ideas, I'll PM you.
