As the Protectors increase in numbers and power it becomes obvious that the petty democracy can no longer exist. The young leader, Kiley Stewert leaves and returns to her normal life only to allow the insidious and psychopathic Coldstone Harshing to take her seat. He soon dominates the political council and bullies his policies through. Eventually he achieves a position in which anything he says is law.

However this mock-dictatorship is a complete success. The destruction from previous years has been undone, and Coldstone Harshing has restored Britain to a state of prosperity. People cannot speak highly enough of the Protectorate and the good they are doing. A statue is built in Diagon Alley to commend Harshing's work as the "Father of the Protectorate."

In but weeks Harshing has reached a height of a deity, almost worshiped for restoring order. He elects himself Dictator of the Protectors and renames it the "Protectorate of Britain."

He takes the dual position of Headmaster and Leader in a hope to use Hogwarts to breed a new race of people, a stronger race, a purer race. A race that will continue to worship him. A race that will succeed him. Harshing attempts to perfect Britain.
