*Kiley sat at the bar of The Three Broomsticks and stared at her empty glass. Someone had brought her a drink, but he was very old and very ugly, and wouldn't leave her alone. Thankfully, he had left to go to the bathroom, so she could be alone for a moment to think. Mel had been acting strangely lately. She hadn't seen Kris in weeks, and she was lonely. Kiley sighed and rested her elbow on the bar, her cin in her hand. She wished there was someone that she knew that she could talk to*

Finn entered the bar area. It was crowded, just like any other night. Finn took an available seat that was a few stools over from Kiley. He pretended not to notice her. He ran his fingers through his medium length hair and ordered a beer. Finn knew the bartender from when he used to drink a lot.... He smiled because he thought he may have broken a bottle and threatened him the the sharp end of it... He took a drink of his beer. It was always nice to have fun on the weekends... Especially with the current regime at Hogwarts. Seeing no one that he knew (or who would talk calmly to him), Finn turned and said, "Hey Kiley." He didn't know her all that well. He just knew that she was friends with Mel, and Finn was friends with Mel, so they would probably get along just fine.

*Kiley had been too deep in thought to notice when Finn walked into the room. But when he said her name, she was pulled back to the present.* "Oh, hi Finn..." *She was more releaved to have someone to talk to than she let on* "How're you?"

Finn smiled, "Saturday night, " he said, "Can't complain..." He raised his stein and took a drink. Beer was an acquired taste, and, a taste Finn grew to love over the years... "How's your evening going?" Finn asked. At that moment, a loud karaoke song beat started and silenced the whole bar. That s**t wasn't Finn's thing. He much prefered the silence, or something quieter... He supposed it was magic mic night... How he loathed it...

*Kiley wrinkled her nose and glanced over to where the music was coming from.* "It was fine...untill that came on....." "An overweight witch got up and started singing a song that had been popular when Kiley was growing up.* "I hate karoke...and I hate drunken karoke even more than that..." *She said, having to raise her voice to make herself heard over the noise*

Finn smiled, "I don't think people would do Karaoke if they didn't have a little liquid courage in them." Finn said. He promised himself that he would never drink enough to make karaoke seem good. He finished off his beer and ordered another. Maybe they would at least start to sound good after another drink...

*Kiley smiled and noddd.* "Yeah, I know." *Kiley puled out a few coins and slid them across the bar. The bar tender brought her another glass of what she'd been drinking. She almost picked up her glass, about to atke a drink, which it occured to her that Finn was friends with mel. She slowly set down the glass and turned to face Finn* "Finn....you're friends with Melanie, arn't you?"

"I'm friends with Mel..." Finn said, "Sorta... It's like the enemy of my enemy is my friend kinda thing..." Finn ate some peanuts from a dish in front of him, then took a drink... "I guess were more than that kind of friend... I never really got to know her, or her brothers better than that... That's how I know you..." Finn finished his beer and ordered a firewhiskey.
