Kris and Kiley sat on some soft cushions in the back of the library, it was the ancient runes section so no one bothered them. It had become sort of like their territory - since there rather sexual encounter Kiley and Kris had become inseparable however there were very separate now - Kris would not tell Kiley where the hell he had accumulated 12 bruises and a broken finger from.

"Kiley, no - it will only get you mad." Kris put his head in his hands but it hurt so he returned to look at her.

*Kiley sighed from annoyance and turned to look at him* "Well, I'm starting to get mad now since you're not telling me." *She explained.* "Come on Kris..." *She reached out and took his hand in hers, careful not to take the hand with the broken finger* "I promise I won't get mad at you....." *She looked up from their hands to make eye contact with him, pleading with her eyes*

Kris coughed as if he was about to admit his failing manhood. "It was Milo, he jumped out of be and battered me with magical assult spells." He looked away, thinking she would think of him as a wimp, feeble, unable to protect her. "I couldn't do anything... he was too strong - he says we can't be together anymore."

"What?" *She snapped sitting up. Anger flashed in her eyes* "He said that to you?" *Kiley hadn't realized that she had raised her voice untill Madam Pince started shuffling over. She appoligized at a whisper and waited till she was out of ear shot before turning back to Kris* "This is.....I can't believe he would do something like that to you......I'm so sorry love....." *she leaned foward and kissed him softly on the lips. After a secend she pulled back* "I can't believe he would do this to you..."

"Milo is a possessive pr*ck. He still thinks he owns you. And hes back in Hogwarts as of tomorrow. Potions teacher. Hes going to defer me to Harshing, I know he is." Kris pressed his head into Kiley's shoulder. "Is Harshing still on our side?"

"I hope so..." *She mumbled, resting her head on top of his.* "I'll talk to Milo.l" *She said softly, looking straight ahead at the stacks of books* "I'll tell him to leave us alone."

"He wont listen. As far as he's concerned you are his property. Kiley promise me you wont go near him, he will only hurt us, you've seen his temper." He placed his hand on her leg and stroked it playfully.

*Kiley didn't want to promise that. She wanted to confront him and get him to eleave them alone.* ""I'll try....." *She muttered, shifting herself into a more relaxed position against Kris.* "He could be dangerious....if he hurts you again, we're going to have to tell someone abouthim...he could kill you..."

"BUt who can we tell?" Kris was thinking Harshing, but he wasnt sure about his allegiance now Kiley's contribution against the family was a long long way in the past. He stroked her hair wondering who she would suggest. They did need protection, Milo was an ex-auror - a powerful wizard.

"My brother's studying to be an auror....I could ask him to come...Although I don't really like that idea since it would limit our time together." *She sighed* "It seems like everyone here is corrupt....I wish there was an adult that could be trusted unconditionally at hogwarts." *Kiley closed her eyes and leaned her head back, thinking.* "It seems hopeless..." *She mumbled*
