Title: Cat amongst the owls.
Description: for Lydia

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 07:02 PM (GMT)
Sho pushed open the door to the owlery and climbed inside, careful to avoid getting any owl feathers or worse on himself, this was one of his faveourite Gloomy Bear T-shirts after all. Ducking under a rafter and narrowly avoiding knocking his kitty-eared hat off in the process, Sho called out "Bibi-chan? Bibi-chaaaan!" and was answered by a nearby "cooo" as his pet owl flew out at him and perched on a low rafter beside him,

"hii, Bibi" he bent over a little to stroke the brown owl leaving the cat tail that was attached to his skirt sicking into the air as he began tying his letter to the bird's leg.

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 07:23 PM (GMT)
Lydia climbed in to the owlery, noticing how difficult it was to climb with some dignity.
Ah well. No one's watching She thought. She walked to the middle of the room and scartched her head. Lydia was about the call for her owl when she she saw Sho standing in the tower.
... A tail? She thought, looking stupid. She dropped her lollipop when she noticed that it wasn't a girl.
"What the...?" Lydia didn't seem to notice that her candy was now on the floor, she just stood there, staring at the boy, who was way to strange for her universe.

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 07:32 PM (GMT)
Hearing a noise, Sho turned his head, noticing that someone was staring at him he shrugged and rerutned to tying the message, used to getting odd looks or stares from more 'normal' people.

"ok Bibi-chan, take that to Gala" he straightened from his crouching position to watch the owl fly out of the window, calling after it "no flying into mirrors this time!"

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 07:40 PM (GMT)
That must be a stupid owl. Lydia thought.
Lydia hasd seen a lot, but this was over the top. She wasn't prude enough to get offended, and neither was she disgusted. She didn't know wheter to feel bad for him, or to laugh straight up in his face.

She decided to get an explanation instead, so she walked towards him, but not getting too close. It was very clear for Lydia that this boy was... Well not like herself. She stroke her hair from her eyes and cleared her throat, in an effort to get his attention and make eye contat.
"Excuse me..." She said sounding as polite as possible. "Who are you and what are you wearing?"

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 07:53 PM (GMT)
He turned as he heard the girl make the type of cough that was polite-speak for 'i want your attention now!' and looked at her, she looked pretty normal, which made her next sentance all the more surprising.

He blinked, a small smile appearing as if he wanted to laugh at such an abrupt question "i'm Sho and i'm wearing clothes"

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 08:03 PM (GMT)
What does he think of me? Lydia got quite offended by the smart-ass answer, and realized how thankfull she was over not being the type of person that easily starts blushing.
"...Yeah..." She said, not really sure of how to continue.
"But it's... Ears and a tail... and Is that a bloody skirt?" She said.
"Not that I like macho guys but... Isn't that a bit too feminine?"

Lydia unwrapped a new lollipop and held out one for Sho too. That wasn't her usual behaviour, but she didn't think very much at the moment, and she also didn't want to seem greedy.
After all, the boy is wearing a tail. She stated, not really sure if that was relevant.

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 08:18 PM (GMT)
He shrugged "maybe in your circles, in J fashion girls go crazy over guys in skirts, and everyone wears kitty ears"

He blinked at the proffered lollipop and took it "..thanks" he replied, deciding to ask a question of his own "why the intrest?"

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
"Then you're a failure. Sorry to break the news for you Sho, but there are no J fashion girls in Hogwarts." She replied to his answer.
Now it was Lydia's time to shrug. "Well you're the first wizard I've seen in a skirt. Well, the first wizard I've seen waering a skirt by own free will." Lydia paused.

"I've got ears too." She said, and tilted her head slightly backwards, meaning her hoodie. "But tails are... It's just..." She couldn't figure out what to say.

When she thought about it, she had never before been that speechless, talking to a guy who was nothing special. Well he was different, but he was still just a boy.

"Where did you get that tail? Borgin & Burke's?" She asked, not really sure herself if she said it to be mean or because of true interest. "I mean is it...real?"

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
He laughed at her 'failure' comment "so? doesn't mean I shouldn't still dress how I want, cute kigu by the way" he nodded to her eared hoodie "I have a Hamtaro one." He stepped aside to avoid a returning owl as she voiced her second question, causing him to turn a little further to show the tail properly as it swayed lazily.

"nah it's not real, it's just enchanted to make it move like a cat's, dunno where it's from tho, it was a present from a boy"

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 08:50 PM (GMT)
"I didn't say that." She didn't know wheter to smile or to get offended, "You just seem to have very strange clothing preferences." Lydia was quiet for a while, wondering what she should reply to the cute comment. She had never heard the word 'kigu' before, so to be safe, she decided to ignore it.

Lydia raised one eyebrow at his answer.
"You say 'a boy' like the most guys I know would say 'a girl'." She stated, but making it clear that it was a question.

Lydia was getting rather bored, they had talked about clothes for a while now, she wanted to know more about him, so she could decide wether he was worth spending any more time on or not.

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)
"I'm bisexual, does that bother you?" Sho had never been one to hide his tendancies, if someone didn't like it that was their problem, not his.

Not waiting for her reply he moved across the owlery, sitting on a low rafter after checking it was clean, if he was going to get a lecture about changing his 'evil ways' or 20 questions about how two guys had sex he might as well be comfortable.

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 09:05 PM (GMT)
"Why would it bother me?"
Lydia followed Sho and leaned against the wall, not far from him.
"So, Sho, Who are you, really?" She asked. "We've been in the same room for... pretty long now, and all I know about you is that you have a thing for girls and boys who goes crazy abou you in a skirt."

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 09:14 PM (GMT)
He looked up at her from his position seated on a rafter "who am I?" he grinned "difficult question...I can't really answer it aside from saying 'i'm me', how about you?"

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
"Age? Interests? Likes, dislikes? Anything?"
Lydia didn't like that kind of persons, that 'we're special, don't label me'-kind of people, yet she decided to stay. Maybe she was wrong about him. Lydia ignored his question and waited for his answer instead.

Sho Yamada - May 1, 2008 09:32 PM (GMT)
Sho didn't know why he was humouring the rude girl, but decided to continue "i'm 16, half Asian in case you can't tell. I liiikkeee having fun, going to concerts, breaking some rules" he grinned at her for a moment "and my hair! I hate Hogwart's no-technology field, and idiots who feel the need to save my soul just cos I like screwing guys"

He shrugged "but if you're not a bitch to me, I won't be a bitch to you"

Lydia Johansen - May 1, 2008 09:40 PM (GMT)
Lydia thought about his words for a while. The utterly odd boy, wearing a skirt, neverforget, was a lot like her, when she thought about it.
"Breaking rules are good." She said. smiling. "So is having fun to. I just don't express myself with overused vowels. I don't care about technology... But otherwise, I love my hair, concerts are nice and I'm into guys too." How much she hated the appearance of this boy and his annoying happiness, she still couldn't find any valid reason to hate him.
"I'm Lydia."

Sho Yamada - May 3, 2008 02:08 PM (GMT)
"Nice to meet you, Lydia" He replied, unsure what else to say "and you do have cool hair" he lifted a hand to his own pink-streaked hair and moved it back out of his eyes so that he could see without pink curtains surrounding everything.

Glancing around at the Owlery, he spoke again "so...did you come up here for a reason or were you just hoping to find a cute Vis Kei drag queen?"

Lydia Johansen - May 3, 2008 02:28 PM (GMT)
Lydia decided to ignore the compliment about her hair, as well as the 'nice to meet you', because she didn't feel like saying something nice about his hair, to be honest, and yet she didn't know if it was nice to meet him or not.

"Drag queen, totally." Lydia let a quiet laughter slip between her lips, "No" she said, smiling, "I was going to send a letter. My dad." She sighed.
"And you were... sending a letter with... Bobochi?"

Sho Yamada - May 6, 2008 05:56 PM (GMT)
"yeah, my owl Bibi" he replied, used to people not being able to pronounce Japanese names, even hearing them properly seemed a challenge to most English. "she gets mad if I don't use the -chan suffix on her name."

He glanced out of the owlery window, looking into the sky "I should probably go and stop distracting you, ne?"
