Hello All! Here's a little add on to the rules for you, just to help clear things up, really.

Plot
This summer's plot is centered around an all Hogwarts competition called the Tetrawizard Tournament. Headmaster Yuniesky Valdez created the tournament with the hope of uniting the school, or at least that's what the tells everyone... What are his true intentions? As Harshing reunites former Death Eaters, something has to give.

Quidditch
Sign ups are located in the Common Rooms. A game plan is being devised.

Points System
Every two months, starting on the fourth of everything month, a new house point competition starts. The houses all start with 100 points automatically. Points will be added and deducted in several ways:

Deduction-

-If you do something minor that's against the rules, this will be part of the punishment. Please note that that will not be all, though. Any violation of the rules is deserving of more than that, it's just to make you want to follow the rules more...if you don't...your house will turn on you.

-Teacher characters may deduct points for whatever reason.

-There will possibly be silly little competitions. The loser gets a certain amount of points taken off.

Addition-

-If you help the site. Number of points added is at staff's discretion.
-5 points for advertising Lumos.
-Winning the previous round of House Point competition earns a house 50 points.
-Teacher characters may add points.
-Winning contests/awards such as Character of the Month and the annual Lumos Awards.

Other notes:

Any changes will be announced in the House Point Log.

Reward for this is yet to be decided, if there will be one at all.

Character Lists

This is a forum where everyone MUST reply. You will be reminded to post here after being approved. There are 3 topics you will need to reply to.

1) What Characters Do You Own: This is a topic where you will tell us what name you'd like to go by and which characters are yours. This makes OOC conversation and plot making easier.

2) Age Directory: This is a topic where we keep track of what characters are in what year or are adults. This topic will be coded so that you can also tell from this topic which house the character is in and what gender they are.

3) House Directory: This is very similar to the previous topic, but it makes finding house mates easier. Character are grouped under house categories and will have their year and gender next to them as well.

4) Gender Directory: Again almost a replica of the last two, but this is organized by gender with year and house noted as well.

So why have three very similar topics, you ask. Simple answer: The House topic is for people who are more interested in finding people in their house than finding people in the same year as them. However, the Age topic is for people looking for characters similar in age that are less interested in Houses. Similarly, the Gender topic is for people looking for characters of a certain gender. This is handy when looking for a relationship or friends. So while they contain the same information, this makes finding the information you need easier.

Contacting Staff
Any time you need to contact the staff for any reason, please PM the Admin Team account (linked in the sidebar). This of course does not include a plot that you are trying to make with your characters or a conversation that you'd like to have. This is simply for questions, comments and such. In other words, anything that any of us could help with.
