Addison Comroe - May 16, 2008 06:14 PM (GMT)
Addison didn't have much of reason to out here, but decided that she needed some fresh air, and in her own personal guide to be happy she tended to the desire quickly. Currently she was surveying a shop window at some new quidditch brooms. Though she wasn't to familiar with it all she did enjoy an adrenaline rush and a fast broom usually gave that to her. But deciding that her current broom was more than good enough for someone that didn't even play quidditch but just flew.

Turning away from the window she decided to look at some other stores and perhaps there was something to brighten her mood. Though with the smile she had on her face no one would think she was having a bad day, probably because she herself wasn't admitting to herself that she was having a bad day. All part of her, staying positive and happy routine she kept in check day to day, and letting petty things upset her was not part of her plan. Of course the landowner saying that she didn't pay rent when she did was a bit......inconvenient, but nothing to fret about she told herself after refraining herself from throwing something heavy at the bald man's head.

Addison was currently walking down diagon allley when another display window caught her attention which for a 10 seconds made her walk without really looking where she was going. She was about to turn back to where she was going when she collideded with someone. Falling she hoped it wasn't someone mean like it was last time whom happened to yell at her, or the other time when she injured an old lady and got cursed into the next century. Without looking up and instead noticing that her elbow is bleeding just a little she muttered "sorry" , and continued to stare at her elbow that continued to bleed. So much for her turning her day around.

Gen was enjoying the nice day. She decided to not waste it by going to Diagon Alley and look around at the shops. She had little money at the moment, but figured that looking did no harm. The book shop was her first stop. She loved to read in her spare time. She looked through each shelf and decided to pull a few down and start flipping through them. She pulled down a couple of spell books and a nice looking herbology-type book. Since, Herbology was her favorite subject, she decided to purchase it for some light reading.

After the purchase, she was walking around the street and saw some really nice looking robes in the wondow of Madam Malkins Robes for All Occasions. They were red and white and looked to be made out of a silky material. Gen looked at her money, and decided not to buy it.

She then was walking with her nose in her book, when all of the sudden Gen bumped into a woman walking. This made the book fall from her hands and onto the ground. Gen picked the book up and said "Sorry about that. I really shouldn't read and walk..." Gen said as she smiled at the woman waiting for her forgiveness.

Looking up at the voice and seeing that it was a girl that seemed kind, giving her bright smile Addison stood up and dusted her skirt. "Oh it's quite alright, I wasn't looking where I was going either." she said glad that it was girl probably around her own age instead of the cranky old lady she managed to bump into last time.

Thinking that making friends or at least getting to know people would be a good thing she extended her hand. "I'm Addison by the way" she said, knowing it was a bit formal but she wasn't used to greeting people differently.

Gen wiped herself down to make sure she had no dust on her and then shook Addison's hand. "Im Genevieve Rasmuse. But you can just call me Gen. So what are you doing around these parts?" Gen said questioningly.

The woman looked to be around Gen's age so, of course, Gen figured this might be a good opportunity to make a friend. And she seemed really nice too!
