Jesse arrived with Lisette hand in hand. He let go and before heading into the forest, he stood infront of her, back to the forbidden forest. He glanced around the area, got as close as he could to her without feeling like a creep, and looked her dead in the eyes.

"Lisette, I can't promise you a good time in here. We might have a blast wandering around, but we might also be confronted with magic we have yet to learn about. But I want you to know, that if anything at all threatens us, I'm confident that, together, we can handle it. So please, stay close to me." Jesse expressed to her as sincerely as he possibly could without showing too much fear.

Lisette had not realized how scary the forest had been. But she was brave. She heard everything Jesse said to her and then she nodded confidently. She did know a lot of magic. They would be ok.

Lisette liked that it was a bit scary so she would have to walk close to Jesse. They were entering the forest, Lisette close behind Jesse. Lisette stopped Jesse and stood in front of him. "So what do you want to do in this creepy forest?"

Jesse was in that weird state of excitement and fear but felt so nice with Lisette so close to him. He felt older than he was. Like a knight protecting his princess. He was hit with new found confidence. But right at that moment, he was stopped by Lisette.

"So what do you want to do in this creepy forest?"

Jesse immediatley smiled at her and replied, "Anything in here is possible Lisette!"

With his chin up, wand in one hand, Lisettes hand in the other, he continued walking deeper into the thick darkness of the forest.

Jesses hand felt good in hers. His hand felt warm and soft. Lisette had her wand out and ready. They were ducked low and looking around at everything as they walked deeper and deeper. The surroundings were dark and foggy. Lisette could barely see her hand in front of her face. Getting a bit nervous, Lisette looked around anxously. She thought she saw something to the left. She whirled around, let go of Jesses hand, and held her wand at the ready. She then lookd into the place where she saw the thing move. Then turned to Jesse. "Did you see that?" Lis whispered quietly.

Jesse heard what Lisette did. He pulled her in a little closer and whispered, "Lumos". His wand instantly lit up infront of him. He circled around Lisette, pointing his wand in every direction. There was nothing. They both heard the noise, it couldn't just be both their imaginations. Images of giant spiders and over-sized frogs ran through his head. Whatever it is, there's no way he was going to let anything happen.

"I promise we'll be fine, lets keep moving and see if the noise follows." he whispered in Lis's ear.

Keeping his wand lit and surveying the area ahead, he continued to walk deeper, not even sure of what he was looking for.

"Lets look for an opening in the trees shall we?" he asked.

Lis stayed close to Jesse. She swore she saw something back there and she knew Jesse saw it too. They kept going, wands lit, hands held tightly together, looking for an opening in the trees. As they were walking, Lis asked, "Why do you want to find an opening in the trees? What are you looking for?" Lis replied. She had been quite curious ever since they walked into the forest.

It took Jesse a second to realize what Lis said. He was concentrating on what lies ahead and listening for any sort of noise not of their own.

" If we find an opening, we can have a seat and maybe get to know eachother a little more. Although, I'd like to know what the source of the noise is before we get there. " he replied to Lis.

It was very dark even with their wands lit and the fog was getting so dense that Jesse almost led Lis right into a tree. They finally came to a large, round clearing in the trees that housed a large rock in the dead center of the opening. There was no grass here. The ground was very hard and dry with some lightning shaped cracks in the dirt.

Jesse led Lis in, not realizing how tight their grip was on eachothers hand. His heart was racing in his chest. It felt like it was just going to jump right out at any moment. He calmed his breathing in fear that Lis might sense something wrong. " I didn't hear anything follow us here did you? " he asked.

Lisette heard Jesseask her something. "Nahh I think we will be fine>" Lis couldnt wait to sit down and talk to Jesse. They were in sucha a secluded area an no one knew they were there, it made Lis's heart race. She didnt let go of his hand for anything, not even when they were sitting down. Gen sat crosslegged in front of Jesse clasping both of his hands now. "So why did you bring me here?" Lis said.

*Just be cool no matter what. Keep your composure. Stay calm.* Jesse thought to himself as he sat hand in hand with Lisette.

"I'm surprised you haven't said to bloody hell with this and bailed yet. Thanks." He said to her with a smile before acknowledging her question. " Well I brought you out here because this place is so beautiful and mysterious. When we were talking in the CR, you reminded me of this forest. " He couldn't believe what he was saying, but didn't care. There was no way he was going to back down. "I find you quite attractive and since I dont know all that much about you, mysterious as well. I want to hear more about you and what you like, but instead of standing in the middle of trees off the beaten path, I figured we could find somewhere nice to sit. This way I can actually listen to what you have to say instead of focusing on what infront of us wants to eat us." he said with a smile.

Jesse couldn't look away from her, all of his focus on Lisette. Waiting her reaction, hoping it wasn't a slap and run away.

Lisette was very flattered. She smiled and giggled a bit, she couldnt help it. She held on to Jesses hands fo what seemed like forever before she said, "Well what do you want to know?" Lisette said cutely, She was staring into Jesses eyes awaiting a reply.

The things flying around in Jesse's stomach immediately started seizuring at Lis's question. He couldn't pretend he didn't want to know every single little detail about her, he really did. He had an idea sprouted from curiousity.

"Are you comfortable with me? I know we just met and all but ... yeah .. be honest! " Jesse asked wearing a small smile.

Lisette was not raedy for the question Jesse threw at her. She pondered it for awhile. "Well yes I am actually. But teh funny thing is, I dont know why!" Lis giggled then said, "Why do you ask?"

Jesse smile grew across his face. He couldn't be any happier after hearing her answer.

"Well because I feel very comfortable with you too, and I'm not sure why either. But I do have to admit that I like it." he said to Lis blushing.

"Well I like it too, a lot." Lis said. She was leaning cloer to him. She had to be next to him, as close as possible, no matter what. She smiled a pretty smile and brushed her hair behind her ear.

The joy and excitement that were flying through Jesse were unexplainable at this point. He didn't care anymore, he was going to go for it. Jesse began to lean in. He was going to kiss her, he wanted to so badly. This was it.

*CRACK*

Jesse pulled away and drew his wand.

"Lumos!" he shouted. He stood infront of Lis. One hand clutching his wand, the other stiffly held out infront of Lis's chest.

"I knew we were followed here. It can't just be a coincidence that it waited until this moment." he quietly said.

Lis was disappointed and scared at the same time. She wanted to kiss him, but then something was following them. Lis pulled out her wand too and yelled "lumos!" She was standing as close as possible to him, they were both looking around. "What was it?" Lis said a bit frightened.

Jesse grabbed Lis's free hand.

"Whatever or whoever it is...let's just leave." he whispered in her ear.

Jesse, holding very tightly onto Lis's hand, began power walking the way they came in.

Lis was scared now. Jesse was her only protection besides herself, and now he was worried. She kept up with Jesse pace as they rushed out of the forest. Lis's grip was so tight on her wand and Jesses hand.

As they were now running out of the forest, Jesse yelled back to Lis, "We gotta get inside, I can hear whatever it is, chasing us!."

They floored it out of the forest and back inside the school.

Jesse, catching his breath, put his hands ontop of his head and calmly said, "CR then?"

Lis took Jesses hand and they high tailed it back to the common room. She was so frightened. What could be chasing them?
