Title: Music in the Forest
Description: OPEN!
Robyn Singe - May 22, 2008 05:11 PM (GMT)
Robyn had never been scared of the forest. She knew enough to protect herself, and she wasn't worried about much. She didn't worry about anything to begin with. She sat in the middle of a clearing, her white cat sitting beside her obediently. She had her notebook open, her gold pen in her mouth as she thought over what to add to her song. So far it sounded good. Robyn sang the first verse, her lovely voice hardly matching her look. All her piercings were in, her jeans were ripped several times and she was wearing her favorite shirt. It was long sleeved with black and white stripes; there was writing in some of the stripes from her friends back home. She closed her mouth as she heard the crunching of leaves behind her. Robyn whirled around to see who it was.
"Can I help you?" She asked, hoping it was a student from the school.
Jesse Ballway - May 22, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
Jesse was out exploring the forest looking for inspiration when he heard something amazing. He immediately walked towards the source. It was a girl holding a pen and notebook. Jesse couldn't believe he finally found another musician. He crept closer and closer trying not to be heard so that the girl would continue. *Crack* He stopped as he stepped on a small twig.
"Can I help you?" he heard the girl ask.
Jesse froze where he was. She seemed a bit upset.
"I'm so sorry to interupt. I heard some amazing notes and was instictively moved towards it. It's very rare to hear such melodic talent around here. I just had to see who it was. I really hope you don't mind?" he asked her hoping that he didn't just anger the one student that might share the same musical obsession as him.
Robyn Singe - May 22, 2008 06:36 PM (GMT)
"Amazing? Melodic talent?" Robyn raised her eyebrows with a grin spreading across her face. "Never heard those directed at me before. I guess change is good, but I don't mind at all." Robyn shrugged, "I'm Robyn Singe, and this is Annalisia or just.. Ana. Who are you?" Robyn asked, putting the cap on her pen and placing it three lines down, on the margin, on the side of the holes. She was a bit.. OCD.
"I don't see too many musical talents either. Around here I mean." Robyn frowned thinking on it, and shrugged.
Jesse Ballway - May 22, 2008 06:54 PM (GMT)
Jesse gave a small sigh of relief.
"I'm glad you're not mad." he said to her.
"I'm Jesse Ballway, a fourth year hufflepuff. I'm actually very obsessed with music. I can't believe I dont have my acoustic with me. I'm usually never without it outside of class. " he explained to her with a hand out to shake.
"So what exactly brought you out here to sing and write? I'm guessing that's what the pen and paper is for." Jesse asked with a curious look.
"Inspiration maybe? That's usually why I venture to the forest. Well, unless I'm looking for trouble of course." he stated with a slight grin.
Robyn Singe - May 22, 2008 07:30 PM (GMT)
"I'm pretty glad I'm not mad either!" Robyn shrugged.
"Third Year, Slytherin, not obsessed with music though. I just love it... That kinda sounded stupid." Robyn laughed at herself.
"And yes, I am too nice to be in Slytherin, I don't have a clue as to how I got in." Robyn rolled her eyes, and shook his hand. Ana hissed at Jesse, because Ana didn't like people touching Robyn.
"Ana, be nice!" She told the cat, who sat back down but looked rather angry. "She's touchy. Doesn't like people to touch me. But why did I come out here? It's quieter than everywhere else. And if I just sit on the grounds the kissing noises of two young 'lovers' will distract me. And firmly annoy me." Robyn smiled, "And yes, I am writing." Robyn paused, thinking and then said, "I can't see you wanting to get into any trouble at all!" She smirked slightly.
Jesse Ballway - May 23, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
Jesse grinned at Robyn's last remark.
"Oh." he said dissapointed.
He didn't really like being judged so quickly, but was more interested in the way he must come off to people. Did he really seem like a coward?
"What makes you say that?" he asked with one eyebrow raised comically.
Robyn Singe - May 25, 2008 10:05 PM (GMT)
OOC: Sorry it took so long, long weekend.
Robyn laughed, and shook her head at Jesse.
“I was being sarcastic. I didn’t mean it in any offensive way! Seriously, if I wanted to make you feel small you’d defiantly know it. I’m not one who’s quick to judge. I mean seriously, one of my sayings is, ‘That first impressions thing is crap. You can change anybody’s opinion about who you are.’ Look at me, I look like I could bite your head off and have breakfast with it, but I don’t act like it at all.” Robyn shrugged, “But if you meet someone who looks like me with brown hair, I swear it isn’t me. It’s my evil twin who looks like an angel and WILL bite your head off.” Robyn nodded at her cat and Ana nodded to agree.
Jesse Ballway - May 28, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
Jesse gave a sarcastic smile to the animal.
"Well I'm glad you won't be biting my head off. I need that to do thinking and stuff." he said trying to be funny. " I'd really like to jam with you sometime if you're up for it. I think it'd be fun." he said to Robyn with a smile.
OOC: sorry so short
Robyn Singe - May 28, 2008 12:35 PM (GMT)
"Yea, I MIGHT bite off you head, it depends. But sure, I'll... 'jam' with you anytime except really early in the morning 'cause then I can't sing." Robyn grinned, "I play the piano too, it's a habit thing." Robyn shrugged.
OOC: Writers block!!
