OOC: Conclave= secret meeting. Yay vocab word!

April made her way down an empty hallway. She was bored, and a bit angry, at no one in particular. Well perhaps her sister... but she was always angry at Taylor. She shook her head, fuming, and paced along a stretch of wall. She desperately wished for a place to relax, in silence, or perhaps with the company of another. The common room was too full, and it was raining on the grounds.

April was passing by the same stretch of wall for the 3rd time when a door popped out of nowhere. She blinked a few times and turned to face it. She chekced both directions, but didn't see anyone coming her way. She smirked and then pried open the door.

She entered a calm room, with a plush carpet, leather couches and a big bed. There was a small table with fruit and crackers with peanut butter on them Yum. April was hungry. She shut the door and ventured over to the table.

She grabbed a peanut butter cracker and an apple, and began to munch. She sat on the plush carpet, and contemplated what this room was doing her. There were a few small bookcases with dusty volumes on thier shaelves. April looked through them and chose a short one and began to read.

A few moments later, she could hear the doorknob turning. Someone was coming into her secret room! She stood quickly, leaving the book on the table, and foolishly hiding the apple behind her back, staring at the doorway in shock.

Lis was walking outside in a corridor when all of the sudden a door appeard. Lis couldnt pass this up. She decided to go insde. She turned the door handle and the door flew open. She then walked inside reluctantly. She saw a girl standing with something behind her back. She walked in a bit farther so the girl could hear her.

"Sorry to bother you but this door just appeared out of nowhere so I had to walk in." Lis walked in a little further. "Whats behind your back?" She asked.

April stared at the girl; bursting in, no apology, no answer as to wh yshe was here. April wondered how the girl had even gotten inside the room; wasn't this a secret? Had they somehow thought the same thoughts and been exposed to the same room? She was confused.

"Whats behind your back?" the girl asked. April brought out the apple.

"An apple. I found it here. See," she replied, pointing to the bowl of fruit. It was still there. That was a good sign; she wasn't imagining things or anything. She took a bite from the apple.

"Want one?" she asked, picking up a shiny red apple and tossing it to the girl.

Lis caught the apple and took a big bite out of it. "Good thing these are here! I was thinking abotu grabbing some food." She then walked over to the chairs and sat in one. "Wow these are comfy chairs! I was just thinking of how I wanted to curl up in a nice comfy chair and..." Lis's eyes went to the book shelf. "Read! Thats what I was wanting to do!" Lis got out of the chair and got a book off the shelf and examined it. "Why does this room have everything I was wanting...what does this room do?" Lis asked very skeptically.

April was stumped too, just as this strange girl was. She was now in a chair witha book, eating an apple. The two could have been twins.

"I don't know... one moment it wasn't here and the next... it was filled with everything I had been wanting. It's very mysterious. Have you ever been here before?" she asked the girl.

The room was quite a mystery. She wanted to try it out, just to see what would happen. She thought to herself, I want a big bed with green covers. Just as the picture came to her head, she looked around. In the corner of the room, there it stood.

"Look! I just... wished in my head it would... appear, and it did!" She gasped out loud, running to see if it was real.

Lisette was amazed. "Howd ya- what tha-. Whats going on here?" Lisette was a bit freaked out now. "So anything I want...I can just think it and it will...apear?" Lisette thought of a big chocolate cake, and no sooner did she open her eyes, there was a cake on the tabel right next to her. "Oh my goodness! This is madness!" She said as she started wolfing down some cake.

"Oh my goodness! This is madness!" the girl screamed. She had started t owolf down a large peice of chocolate cake that had appeared out of think air. April stared at in amazement.

"Okay, okay, slow down. I don't know many healing spells and if you choke, I'm not sure if I could get anyone else to get in here... you know? Calm yourself..."

April looked around the room. What else did she want? A big glass of milk. Yes. There it was. She took a sip.

"This is pure genius. I don't even need a spell!"

She twirled around while thinking about confetti raining on her. It happened. Who needed magic themselves when they had this? Dear Merlin.

Lisette thought this was some cool magic but there had to somethign moe fun they could do with it. "Hey what else do you think we could do in here? Think about a party or something and it will appear!"

Lis stood up in excitement. "Hey I dont think I got your name did I?"

"Let's NOT think about a party, shall we, or we'll be found! I don't know if we're supposed to be here, and I'm not giving this secret away to anyone! Normally, I wouldn't mind a bit of good rule breaking... but I want this place to myself."

"Hey I dont think I got your name did I?"

"No, you didn't. April Teagan, Slytherin 5th year. And you are...?

"The names Lisette Rasmuse. But you can call me Lis. Im the potions professor's little cousin. Nice to meet ya."

Lis listened to April. "Yeah I think your right. Lets keep this place a secret." Lissaid with a smile. "So what can we do thats fun in here but not get in trouble or be too loud?" Lis said.

"You're GEN'S LITTLE COUSIN? I love her!" April gushed, then shut her mouth. "Oh, sorry. I do nejoy...your older cousin's...company. Anyways..."

"It's nice to meet you. What should we do... hold on..."

April thought about her broom being in the room. Then, looking around, there it was. She jumped in surprise and went to grab it. She got onto it and rode around in circles, swooping playfully over Lis's head.

"Weeee! Try it!"

Lisette was surprised at how much everyone seemed to like hr cousin. "She must be pretty popular around here!" Lis said. Then before she knew it, April was flying over Lis's head. She heard April exclaim, "Ty it!" So Lis thought of wanting to fly and then a brook appeared by the chair she was sitting in. She mounted it and started buzzing around the room. "Gens no good at flyign but Ive alwas had a knack for it!" Lis said chasing after April.

April watched as Lis chased her around the large room. The girl could fly! She weaved in and out of the support beams of the room, flying higher. The room seemed to expand to her needs, and shr realized it was reading her thoughts. She laughed. She flew threw a goal post the room had created. It seemed like a quidditch field now. Amazing.

She pushed her broom faster, not wanting to be caught, still laughing.

"Gens no good at flyign but Ive alwas had a knack for it!" Lis called, and April laughed even harder.

"I know! I made her fly on my broom once! It was hilarious!" she called back, ducking underneath a low hanging chandeliar and almost smacking headlong into a wall. She was in a deep dive now, and finally touched down.

"Wow..." She was out of breath, she realized, and was still laughing.

Lisette was flying every which way. She also noticed the room was getting bigger to Lis's liking. She was flying around everywhere. The room was starting to look like a quidditch pitch. "Wicked." Lis said as she chased after April and messed with her broom as she was flying. Lis was having a good time but was getting tired. SHe landed and looked at April. "So you had Gen flying around? It wasnt in public was it?" Lis said with a smile as she was panting.

April laughed, still out of breath. The room was returning to it's original setting, this time with some water for them both ot drink. she gulped down a bottle of it and settled onto a leather couch, glad to have time to relax.

"Yeah... well it was in public, sort of. We were on the grounds. It was just me, her and another Hufflepuff girl. It was funny. She fell face first into the ground..."she trailed off, remembering the day fondly.

Lisette about spit her water out of her mouth. "She fell on ehr FACE?! HA!" Lis couldnt help herself. She was jealous of her cousin a bit because she was so popular and beautiful. Lis hated her but also hoped she would grow up to be like her. "I cant believe you convinced her to fly! We tried having her fly with us and play as kids but she never had the knack for it." Lis took another big gulp of her water and sat down in the comfy chair.

April laughed again, spitting out a bit of her water. It slopped all over her robes, which she dried easily with a spell. She took another apple from the bowl, biting into it crisply. She was hungry after all of the flying. and being chased by a little maniac.

"Yeah, she really did fall on her face. I had to laugh, although I shouldn't have, because she's a bit sensitive, and it's not nice to be mean to Professors..." she trailed off.

"I also tried to throw her in the Lake... didn't work. She Expelliamus'ed me right onto my arse. Not a good memory." She laughed again, taking another bite of the green fruit.

Lis took a swig of her wate and began to eat an apple when she heard April telling her about Gen. She almost spit out her apple. "She fell on her face?! How did you guys get her do ride a broom! She wouldnt do it for us that easily, but she will do it for someone she just met." Lis said giggling.

"Well, I sort of... forced her onto the broom. I'm very persuasive. Besides, Gen and I tend to get along pretty well. So maybe that's why. anyways, she completely embarassed herself. So it was good times for us all."

April took another bite of the apple.

"Either way, she got me back eventually for that. She blew me into hard dirt... so I got mine, I guess. She's quite quick with her wand, I'll let you know."

Lisette listened to April as she spoke. "Yes she is! Shes gotten me a few times with her wand!"

She took a drink of water from her water bottle and a bite of her apple.

"I wish I could have been there to see her fall! Thats very strange that you two get along, with the age difference and all. But I guess Gen has always been a kid at heart." Lis said.

Lis stood up and walked around investigting the room a bit more. "What else do you think we could do in here April?" Lis asked.

"Oh, she's barely older than me. 7 years or so. But truly a kid at heart."

April pondered Lis's question, wondering truly what they could do here.

"I wonder if Muggle electronics would work. I've been dying for some music lately... but nothing Muggle works. I tended to use Muggle electronics for music... but that's it. But my little... iPod, I think it's called, doesn't work on the grounds."

"Whats an Ipod?' Lis said. She had never used muggle technology before. She was raised in a wizarding household, her mother was muggle, but they didnt have muggle things in their house. Lis looked at April, "Well lets try it!'

"An iPod is a little music player. It's the only thing Muggle I own, pretty much. It's handy for listening to music on the go. I'm practically in love with it," she gushed. She wished that an iPod would appear, and it did.

"See," she said, picking it up. It was off, but April pressed down the play button. It didn't move, or light up. She tried it again, and this time it flickered to life.

"Look! It works!" she screamed and danced around. She couldn't wait for it to work and play music. She wished for a stereo system, and it showed up in the room. She connected the iPod.

"What kind of music do you listen to? Here, you pick. Scroll like this," she said, and showed her how. "Pick something. It'll play, watch it, it's better than magic!"

Lis took the tiny thing in her hands. She almost didnt want to touch it, it looked like it would break easily. April showed her how to use it, so Lis went to pick a song. She didnt know any of the bands April had on her ipod thing, so she randomly picked a song. It sounded like punk music. Really fast bass line and simple guitar chords all distorted. "OH I like this kid of music! That thing is so cool!" Lis said dancing around.

April laughed, enjoying the song too. She bobbed her head to the music and danced by head bobbing. She laughed a lot. Then she sauntered over and changed the song quickly. She was in the mood for some good rap music.

She turned on Lil Wayne, hoping that Lis wouldn't mind. "Hope you don;t mind rap," she said, as Weezy started singing to Lollipop. "I love this stuff."

She just sor tof bobbed to the beat of his lines now, and laughed at the funny lines he rapped.

Lis smiled wehn she turned on this music. She had never heard anything like it. "Wow what is this?!" Lis said as she started dancing to the music. She loved the beat this music gave off.

April gaped at her, and then shook out of it. American music, probably not very well known, and especially not to wizards.

"Muggle, American, rap. Probably not well known around here, huh? My dad brings back some bloody weird stuff sometimes. This here is Lil Wayne, or Weezy. Self proclaimed the Greatest Rapper Alive."

She gave a little weird peace sign and pretended she was rapping to the song, and then doubled up in giggles.

Lis laughed. She watched April act like one of the rappers she was talking about. Lis laughed and did the same thing. "How do these american muggles listen and watch these guys and not laugh! And what kind of name is wheezy or lil wayne?" Lis said.

"Well. his REAL name is Dwayne, I believe. But you have to add Lil before it... every rapper does. Well, not really... but I don't know," she finished lamely. She switched the song again, going back to rock/punk. It was some good music.

"This is Forever the Sickest Kids," she pointed out. "Muggle American band again. I like the American stuff," she added.

Lis bobbed her head up and down. "I like this music more than that rap stuff." LIs said dancing around the room.

"Good point," April said, letting the song play out in full.

She wasn't sure what to do next, so she laid on the couch. She was tired, and didn't know what to do, really. She felt like her and Lis were already pretty close, but she didn't know what to say or do.

"So, have you got any sisters or brothers? I know you're related to Gen, but nothing more than that..."

Lis sat down with April. She was tired of dancing, but didnt know what to do next. "Nope. only child. Yourself?" Lis said.

April had asked the question of death, and now Lis had asked her the same one. She groaned. She hated talking about her sister with other people.

"I have a sister, but we hate each other. Simply put," she said, offering no reason why. She had a feeling Lis would ask her though, because she was the curious type.

"Oh Im sorry." Lis said. She could hear the annoyance in Aprils voice so she didnt ask why. She quickly changed the subject.

Lis stood up and walked around thinking. "What else do we want April? Anything else cool?"

April couldn't think of anything at all, which was weird. She normally had good ideas.

"I'm not sure... I have a lot of cool things already..."

Lis looked around and felt a bit hungery. She thought of candy and cake and icecream and soda. She turned around and there it all was! She looked at April and said. "Lets dig in shall we?"

April did just that, but threw some cake at Lis.

"Gotcha!" she said, winking and ducked behind a couch, taking some ammo with her. She stood up and fired at what she hoped was Lis's head, and dove underneath the couch again.

Lis knew what Apri lwas up to. After getting hit with some cake, Lis grabbed some donuts, cake, and cookies from teh pile. April threw a piece of cake at her and it landed directly on top of her head. Lis didnt care if she got messy at the moment. She laughed and ran behind the chair and threw a donut over the couch. She hoped it hit April square in tehhead for revenge.

Suddenly, the room transformed into a large playground with blow up things to hide behind. She heard Lis's donut bounce off one of them which had been aimed directly for April's head. She ran through the maze of obstacles, diving, and threw some more cake at Lis. Then, she scrambled and hid, hoping she could set a trap for the young girl.

Lis was wide eyed when she saw all thw things in the room appear. She almost forgot where she was for a moment. Lis was disappointed her donut didnt hit her, but the cake thrown at her by April didnt hit Lis. She ran behind one of the blow up things and threw a cookie and some cake in Aprils direction. Lis then ran behind a different blow up thing.
