Sean walked around the grounds, surveying the scene. Several students were sitting under trees, studying, while others were flying around on their brooms.

He held his Firebolt, he wanted to go for a ride later on, but right now, he only wanted to think about the Potion's Professor.

He sat down in the grass, in the shade of a willow tree. He had met her today, in the staff room, when he had been dropping off his application, and had been quickly attracted to her.

Sean was lost in his thoughts when someone sat down beside him and said "Hi."

Gen was walking around the grounds in a pair of capri jeans, some nice tannis shoes, a light purple top, and a jean jacket to go over top. The jean jacket matched the pants and Gens hair was also curled and bouncy. She felt good today. She was done with potions class for the day and decided to dress ncie and takea stroll on the grounds. She was looking at the lake in the distance and the squid coming up to resurface once in awhile, and se also saw some students running around. Then to gen surprise she saw Sean sitting all alone, how strange! Gen thought. I figured hed be surrounded by girls. Well this is my chance.

gen marched right up to Sean, very non chalantly of course, and sat down next to him. "Hi" She said to get his attention. "Im Gen. Mind if I join you?'" She said and flashed him a smile.

Sean turned and looked at Gen. Wow she looks good he thought.

"No I don't mind," he said with a laugh. "I'm Sean, I remember you from school." But I don't remember you looking so hot. he thought. He had been two years ahead of her however, so he had never really talked to her, instead hanging out with students from his own year.

"So, what's up with you?" he asked.

Gen sat down slowly. Be cool Gen. She thought to herself. She looked at him. He looked amazing as always. "So why are you sitting all by yourself?" Gen said. "And what brings you back to hogwarts?" She asked. She then heard him ask her whats up. "Well Im t he potions professor and head of gryffindor house here now. Just got the jobs last week." Gen said excitedly. "Today Im just out strecthing my legs and ggetting some fresh air." Gen said flashign him a smile and shifting her weight.

Sean looked at Gen. "I came out here to think and stuff. And to get away from this second year that had been following me around for hours. I came back to Hogwarts because I can't play for the Chudley Cannons anymore and I need a job. I just applied as a Flying Instructor."


"Potion's Professor huh?" he said, "I was never really good at potions. Of course when I took the class it was taught by Snape. I think I would've been much better if you had been my teacher," he said smiling.

Stop talking so much Sean! he berated himself. He couldn't help it, he was a nervous wreck around the hot Professor.

Gen could tell that Sean was a bit nervous. She didnt know why, he had no reason to be. "Yeah I am loving my job so far. I brings me so much joy and satisfaction." Gen said beaming. She brushed her hair behind her ears. "I remember old snape. He was a nice guy once you got to know him. Id always help him with his potions after class. He taught me a lot."

Gen blushed when she heard Sean say hed would have liked her to be his teacher. "Well thats sweet of you, but I dont know if Im doing all that great. Im making it fun but I hope they are actually getting some knowledge from the class." Gen said a bit worried.

"You played for the Cudley Cannons?! Thats great! Sorry to hear that you hurt yourself. Im sure you were a great player." Gen said winking at him.

"So what were you thinking about before I interrupted?" Gen said.

"Yea he was a good guy, just a bit scary." replied Sean.
He noticed her blush and responded , "I'm sure your a great teacher." he said sincercly, "and no one said things had to be boring for the students to learn something."

"I was alright," Sean said, smiling. "Flying is the one of my favorite things to do."

He heard her ask what he had been thinking about and gulped. [/I]Oh yea what am I suppossed to say, You?[I] he thought.

"Actually," he replied, "I was thinking of going for a ride on my Firebolt. He pointed to the broom lying by his side.

"And, I was thinking of you."

Solana was wandering around the grounds, when she spotted a really hot guy speaking to the Potions teacher. She walked over to where they sat and as she got closer, she noticed it was Sean Avalon from the Chudley Cannons!

"Hey," she said, sitting beside them, "I'm Solana, nice to meet you. I saw you play at the World Cup last year and you were fantastic."

She flashed him a pretty smile. Wow, he's really sexy she thought to herself.

Gen blushed after hearing Sean speak. "Me? Why were you thinking of me?" Gen couldnt believe it. She had had the biggest crush on Sean in school and still was crushing on him now. Back in school, Sean never noticed Gen and now, he was straight up telling her he was THINKING about her! What a change. Gens face was still red and she couldnt get it to go away.

"I just can't get you out of my head," replied Sean. "Why is it a bad thing?" he asked her.

He noticed her blushing and wondered if she liked him. He hadn't noticed her before, and he wished he had paid more attention to other things beside Quidditch back then.

He turned to the new girl sitting beside him.

"Hi Solana," he said, smiling, "I'm Sean. Thanks, I enjoyed playing the World Cup, I'm glad you had a good time. I'm kinda sad I won't' be able to play it ever again though."

Then he turned back to Gen. "Hey, I was thinking of going flying, you wanna ride?"

Solana watched the exchange between the Potions Professor and Sean. She wondered if they were a couple.

"Hi Professor Rasmuse," she said to the teacher, then turned her attention back to Sean.

"I was sad when the Bludger hit you during that game, you were my favorite player you know. What are you doing at Hogwarts, if you don't mind my asking?"

Gen was flattered. "So you cant get me out of your head? Whys that? And no Its not a bad thing, but I had the biggest crush on you back in school and you never even noticed me and now you do!" Gen smiled.

Gen greeted the new comer. "Hi. Im Gen Rasmuse. But you can call me Professor Gen if you want." Gen flashed her a smile.

She then heard Sean ask if she wanted to take a ride.

Gen blushed. "Well Im nto very good on a broom but Im always up for anything lets go." gen stood up ready to go on her ride.

Sean looked at Solana. She was stunning, very beautiful and she didn't look like a student, yet she called Gen, 'Professor'

"I'm at Hogwarts applying for the Flying Instructor Post. I still want to be in a career close to Quidditch he said." His face had darkened when she had mentioned the Bludger accident.

He heard Gen proclaim she'd had a crush on him and was shocked. "You did? Wow, I never noticed you, I was always wrapped up with my Quidditch. I wish I would have paid more attention though," he said, giving her a smile.

"Don't worry if your not good on a broom, I am and you can ride behind me on my Firebolt." He stood up and picked up his broom.

"See you in a bit." he said to Solana, then turning to Gen, he asked "Ready?" before mounting his broom.

Gen hopped on behind Sean. She put her arms around him feeling his abs and chest. She could tell he worked out a lot or atleast got his body from quidditch. Gen waved at Solana then closed her eyes. Sean took off from the ground and they were whirling all over the place. Gen didnt feel as scared now, she opened her eyes and loosened her grip on Sean. "This is so much fun! Ive never flown this high before!" Gen said astonished. She kenw she probabyl sounded stupid to Sean who had flown a million times, but to Gen this was a new experience.

Sean laughed at Gen's enthusiasm. He remembered feeling the same way the first time he had ridden a broom.

"I'm glad your enjoying it," he called back to her. "Hold on tight though because I'm going to speed up."

He sped up, enjoying the wind rushing past his face, blowing his hair back. He turned and headed towards the lake and began to fly over it.

Gen listened to Sean and held on tighter. She could feel the wind rushing through her hair as Sean sped up. She felt like she was going to fall off if she let go. Gen then saw them heading towards the lake and got excited. "Can we fly close to the lake so I can touch it Sean?" Gen asked smiling brightly.

"Sure," Sean yelled back, wanting to be heard over the sound of the rushing wind.

"But it's hard to hold on tight with one arm so be careful and don't lean over to far!"

Sean didn't know why he was agreeing to fly close to the lake, it was a dangerous thing to do with an unexperienced flyer, but he wanted to make her experience fun.

"Hold on," he called and swooped foward on his broom.

Gen could feel the coolness of the water as they came closer and closer to it. She grabbed tightly with one arm around Sean and reached over and put her fingers in the water. It was so cool and refreshing. She also had never felt water between her fingers that fast befoe. She smiled at Sean as she was feeling the water. She felt her hand start to give way, so she decided to old on with both hands. "Lets go back to land." She said to Sean. She was having a blast but also realized that it was a bit dangerous up here.

Sean felt Gen's hold begin to loosen so he slowed down a little.

She asked to go back to land and he agreed, turning the broom sharply and expertly. "Alright," he said, heading back towards the spot where Solana and his owl Torque sat waiting.

I wonder what Torque is doing there he thought. He was a bit dissapointed that Gen wanted to go back, he enjoyed having her arms around him. The flying had been a pleasant experience.

He touched down softly and dismounted from the broom, the offered a hand to Gen. Once he was off he turned his attention to his owl. He removed the scroll tied to it's leg.

He quickly read the letter and smiled.

"Guess what?" he said to Gen and Solana, "I got the job, I'm the new flying instructor!"

"Congratulations Sean !" smiled Solana and gave him an implusive hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Or should I call you Sir now," she asked flirtaciously. ^_^

Gen shyed away from Sean, she could tell that Solana liked him but he was much too old for her seeing as he was a professor now and she was a student.

Gen gave Sean a handshake. "Congratulations! Now were bothe teachers! Thanks for the ride too." Gen said. "Do you want to come walk with me in the grounds?" Gen said with a smile.

"OH um...thanks Miss. Lilly, I think you should call me Professor now that I'm a teacher." He didn't want to hurt her feelings, he could tell that she liked him but she was much too young for him.

He heard Gen ask him something about walking on the grounds.

"Sure," he replied. "Bye Miss. Lilly." he said to Solana. Hopefully the formal adress would help her realize that he would only ever be her professor.

Solana noticed Sean's change of tone. He had probably realized she liked him. Oh well, there's other fish in the sea...She thought.

"See you around Professors," she said to them both as they left for their "Walk"

Then she turned and headed towards the castle.

Gen smiled that Sean left Solana to go walking with her. Gen felt bad for Solana but she was way too young for him. As they were walking, their hands kept brushing against eachother. This made Gen blush a bit, but they kept walking and letting it happen. "So, what else is new about you that I didnt know when we were in school." Gen said.

Sean felt their hands keep brushing together, yet she did not remove hers. He figured it was because he didn't mind, maybe she wanted him to take her hand? He didn't, it was too soon. He heard her ask him a question.

"Nothing new with me that hasn't already been reported," he replied, his mood darknening a little. "I graduated, joined the Cannons, got married, got injured, my marriage was dissolved by the Ministry, came to teach at Hogwarts...that's it really.

How about you?"

Gen was walking at a petty slow pace. She wanted to watch the scenery. It was such a nice day outside. Gen heard Sean say he was married. "YOU were married? The guy that every girl wanted in school? Im sorry, but I just never would have guessed. Who was it? Was it someone from school?" Gen said excitedly.

Sean looked at the ground. He shouldn't have mentioned it, he thought, but he had assumed that everyone already knew, what with the Daily Prophets coverage of the whole event and all.

"Yes I was married," he replied to her, "She wasn't from school, she went to Beauxbatons, we met while I was playing a game in France, and her name was Tilly Oliveri"

Gen felt bad for bringing it up. "Sorry. I didnt know it was such a touchy subject." Gen gave him a reassuring smile. She decided it would be best to change the subject. "So what do you want to do on this beautiful walk Sean?" Gen said.

"It's alright," he reassured her. "I'd like to walk with this beautiful lady...perhaps to the Forbidden Forest, or Hogsmeade...or do you have anything you want to do?"

"Well, I dont really have anything I WANT to do. The forest or hogsmeade is fine with me. What ever you want to do." Gen said with a smile. Their fingers were now playing with eachother as they dangled by their owners sides.

"I'd like to walk along the forest, it seems quite and peaceful...as long as we don't go to far that is." He wanted very mcuh to take her hand in his but resisted the urge.

Gen looked up at Sean. "Ok. Lets go. If anything bad happens, I got my wand and you got your broom." Gen said with a giggle. Gen kept walking beside Sean with their hands still playing with eachother. I wish he would just grab my hand! Gen thought. They walked into the forest where anything could happen...
