Flame missed the people she used to know, the people who, it seemed, had disappeared. Simner, who she had at one time been so close to, Finn who she had long-nursed a soft spot for, even Tyrin though she knew he was dead for she had seen it happen. The truth was Hogwarts was a changed place, it didn't feel right without them.
She walked down the corridor, thinking, the young unnamed child cradled to her, eyes scanning it's petite form. How adorable, how had she ever birthed such a beauty?
But of course, it was it's father showing through, the blonde hair, like gold, the slightly coloured skin, matched to her grey eyes, though with a single twinge of blue. Beautiful, perfect, yet the child of a monster.
How could she bare to look at her child as most mothers would? She had not wanted it, had been forced into it, and the father had not been right, had been mad, a monster, a true monster. She sighed, turning yet another corner, into the astronomy tower.
Finn sat at his usual spot in the astronomy tower. It was his favorite place in all of Hogwarts. People rarely came up there and it was common knowledge that Finn could usually be found there. Everyone he used to know had left. Either transfered to Durmstrang or god knows where, or died, or... He didn't know. Honestly, he was glad to be rid of some of the people from his life. The people who tried to ruin him, the people who made him miserable, and the person he missed the least, the girl who broke his heart. He would trade anything to be back...
He heard footsteps ascending the stairs. Damn, he thought. He enjoyed his alone time perhaps more than anything else these days. He readjusted his position on the cool marble and looked to see who it was.
It was Flame! He hadn't seen her since Harshing tried to ruin his life... Nonetheless, he failed. Finn's entire goal was to prove that Harshing had failed. He would not live the life that was forced upon him. He would not be a sheep. All the memories of hatred flooded his mind. He was surprised to see that she had a baby. Some poor b*****d child, he supposed. Flame's reputation was less than... He assumed that she probably didn't know who the father was...
"Good evening Flame," Finn said after a long while, "Long time no see..."
