Title: Riddle of the Day 5/25

Finnigan Tatupu - May 25, 2008 03:20 PM (GMT)
Riddle of the day is back and better than ever... After about a week hiatus...

James lives with his parents in New York. Last week, while his parents were out, James' neighbor Susie came round to spend the evening. At 8 o'clock precisely she went out to buy some cigarettes from the corner store, a 5 minutes walk away. One minute after she left, two men burst into the house and, ignoring Bobby, took the plasma HDTV, the stereo and a computer. James had never seen the men before, and even though they had no legal right to remove the equipment he did nothing to stop them. In fact, he didn't even act surprised by their behavior.

Why not?

It wasn't James' house they were breaking in to, it was wherever Bobby lives?

James wasn't surprised because the two men that burst into the house were the moving men, they rang and he'd said to come straigt in. After all they were here to help James move his stuff to his new house. Susie had been round to help him pack earlier since his parents were out and she had gone to the store for cigarettes because she was stressed. Bobby, well Bobby was the goldfish so it was no wonder he made no noise.

Got a little carried away with an explanation there sorry lol

I'd like to change my answer. James did not act surprised becuase he was watching a television show, therefore the two men would have ignored Bobby, James dog, since they are on tv.

We ever gonna get the answer to this? ;p

Finnigan Tatupu - June 8, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
Everyone is right.... My answer was that it wasn't James' house, but the other answers are just as correct.

Are you happy now Sho?

Perhaps, but you could grovel a little more :P
