Title: Twilight Gazeing
Description: Everyone
Zane Hart - May 25, 2008 07:28 PM (GMT)
Zane climbed the stairs leading to the Astronomy Tower. When he made it to the top and stopped and looked out at the stars. He stared at the stars for several minutes before he heard a purring noise. He looked down and dug his hand into his trench coat pocket pulling out a dark brown kitten and blinked as the kitten licked his nose. “Pudding how do you always sneak onto my person without me noticing.” Pudding motioned to his head obviously not understanding and gave a meow. Zane sighed as he sat the kitten on top of his head and stood up high. “There you go pudding, best seat in the house.” He laughed and resumed looking out at the stars not hearing the footsteps coming from the stairs.

Diana climbed the steps to the Astronomy Tower her excitement growing with each step. It had been way to long since she'd visited her favorite place. The one that left many memories. Most of them good ones. Sighing at that thought Diana knew she should have never went to stay with her Aunt and Uncle. She'd been gone pretty much a whole year and just because they couldn't find a way to get her back. Don't get her wrong she loved her relatives, but Hogwarts was her home. Had always been, especially when her parents died.
Letting out an audible groan to where her thoughts had went Diana pushed the memories back for right then. As she rounded up the last step a grin brightened her face as she opened the door. The image that she saw while opening the door though made her laugh. Stopping in the door way she watched to see if the guy had heard her small laugh before she bit her lip to keep quite. This is going to be interesting, she thought.

Zane heard something and turned around suddenly causing Pudding to fall off his head. He caught the kitten and smiled at her giving a apology knowing that if the kitten was a human she would be glareing daggers at him right now. “Hehe, sorry about that Pudding, I thought I heard something.” He stood back up looking around but saw nothing due to the twilight darkness. Zane shrugged and set Pudding back on his head and turned back ground. “Must have been the wind…” He concluded.

To keep from laughing as she watched the boy's actions Diana covered her mouth with one of her small hands. When he went on to talk to his cat Diana smiled under her hand. At least someone's not afraid to talk to their animal like their human, she thought amused.
When she heard the boy go on to say it was just the wind Diana wondered briefly if she should just head back. After all she didn't want to ruin the moment. After a few moments of thinking though she shook her head no and finally stepped out of the darkness.
"Hello," she called out her eyes taking in the boy a smile on her face.

Zane blinked as he turned around once again slower this time making sure he didn’t drop the dark brown kitten again. “Huh, Oh hello.” Zane said as he squinted his eyes at the girl trying to see her though the darkness. “What brings you here to this tower?”
He asked as he moved his eyes upward taking his gaze of the girl for a second to check on Pudding. She was asleep. He gently grabbed the kitten and tried to pull her from his head more specifically his hair. It didn’t work. Zane started tugging harder and harder trying to remove her from his head until it appeared that he was doing some drunken tribal rain dance.
After several minutes of unsuccefull attempts he left Pudding be on top of his head and sighed then remembered the girl staring at him in the darkness and blushed showing brightly due to the moon light reflecting off him and scratched the back of his head. “Um, Pudding, my cat wont let go to, uh, head…” He stuttered embarrassed.

Watching the boy and hearing his answer she nodded to him. What was she doing up in the tower? Well firstly she wanted to see the view from the window seal and two....try and relive memories from the past. The one's she missed very much.
"Well I'm here to watch the view, just like your doing it seems," Diana finally answered leaving her answer simple. He didn't need to know everything after all. Especially since they'd just met. Sighing quietly she turned back to the boy just in time to watch the events unfold. It seemed to her like he was having a hell of time in getting his kitten off his head. Diana smiled at this. She assumed the kitten was quite comfortable perched there.
After many attempts though the boy turned to her relaying an embarrassed explanation. Smiling at the boy she just pulled her wand out and pointed it at the cat.
"Accio kitten," she announced clearly waiting to see if her magic had worked.

Zane blinked again as pudding somehow flew out of his hair after much effort it looked like someone was grabbing pudding while Zane tried to keep is balance. Pudding eventually declawed his head and flew into the girl’s arms as Zane face planted the floor groaning at his face and head being in pain. After a few seconds on the ground Zane pushed himself off the ground dusting himself off and rubbing his head again. Zane took out his wand. “Lumos!” Zane said he flicked the wand and narrow beam of light shined from the wand's tip, like a torch of sorts illuminating the room.

Diana watched as the kitten came flying toward her. Taking Pudding in her arms she cradled the sleeping kitten petting her every so often. She had to admit the kitten was quite adorable. Diana glanced up to tell the boy this when she saw the boy fall flat on his face. Gaping at him she watched as he recovered then pull out his wand and fill the room with light.
"Are-are you okay?" Diana asked watching him. She didn't think she'd seen any one as clumsy as that in quite awhile.
Zane Hart - May 25, 2008 08:45 PM (GMT)
“Yea, im fine…” Zane muttered rubbing his face with his free and while holding his wand with the other. After the pain went away he started brushing cat hair from his black silky hair. Zane looked up at her and examined her face speaking without thought. “Beautiful” He said a bit too loudly as he cursed himself in his mind and tried to cover up his mistake. “The stars they are very beautiful tonight don’t you agree?” Zane asked hoping she didn’t notice he was staring right at her when he muttered the word.

Hearing the boy reply to her question Diana smiled in relief. She didn't want to have to try and heal the boy if she didn't have to. Especially when since she hardly preformed healing magic. Part of Diana guessed if she needed to it might not be a pretty sight.
Shaking her head she turned to watch the boy green eyes taking him in as she noticed him staring shifting uncomfortably she inastantly looked to the boy when she heard the word 'beautiful'. Laughing a little she watched as the boy made an excus for what or rather who he was calling beautiful.
"Yes I do have to agree. They've always been beatuiful to me just like sunsets," she replied with a nod not commenting on the boy's mistake. "Oh and here's your kitten back." She said making her way to him arms streched out with the kitten in them

Zane let out a silent breath, “She believed it, I think.” He thought to himself. Zane took back his kitten and stared at her for several minutes before setting her into his opened trench coat pocket. “Sorry about Pudding she gets her exercise by sneaking into my coat when im not looking. She’s so light I don’t even notice the extra weight on me until I hear her purring or stick my hand into my pocket and find something other then chocolate…” He trailed of shivering slightly at the thought.
