Shane is outgoing and a pretty nice guy and has no problem making or keeping friends! He even manages to maintain friendships in rival houses, except Slytherin....but there's always exceptions to the rule. Like a true Gryffindor, he's a fiercely loyal friend and will do whatever it takes to protect those he cares about. He's a bit on the flirtacious side but hasn't been dating at all during his sixth year.

Background Valentina didn't know about Shane's arm until a day during Potions. He accidently dropped the Salamandra's Blood bottle, and Valentina picked it up for him. They started talking and soon became good friends.
Valentina completly ignores the Gryffindor vs Slytherin thing, and that is considerd weird, but she doesn't care.
Valentina admires Shane's brave nature, and normaly she tends to act like the Side-Kick without realising it.

Background: Aaron is smart, friendly, but rather quiet at times. When him and Shane first met Aaron didn't know what he thought but since then they have become friends, though not as close as Jenna and Aaron

Background: Shane was the first person AJ met on the Hogwarts Express and is one of the only people to have seen AJ's mangled hand up close due to the fact they both were in accidents which injured them greatly.They went through their early years AJ helped Shane with parchment and always trying to duel others. AJ has no problem letting Shane lead the way in things. Both are competitive and try to beat others when they team together. In Potions, Shane leads the way, while in Transifguration AJ helps Shane along. They are top in both of those classes.

They have a great relationship outside of Hogwarts.

Background: Dated in Sarah's 3rd year and Shane's 4th, but once summer vacation came around, they lost touch and gave up. They talk, but it gets awkward, so they tend to stay away from each other. Sarah sometimes watches Shane in the Great Hall, but more out of curiosity than wanting him back or being jealous.

Background - Shane and Fawne meet though their house and classes, with Shane being in the year above her she never really approached him with more than a casual hello till her 5th year. When they finally did begin to talk Fawne befriended him right away and grew closer to him through his offer to help her during the tournament.

Background: Rebecca and Shane met last year out of coincidence. They both made pretty interesting, or should I say bad, first impressions though that didn't ruin the conversation. They talked for awhile after and got to know a little about one and another. They don't get to talk much so Rebecca would have to count Shane as more of an acquaintance then friend, but who knows what the future may hold.

Background: Shane and Sora met during Potions class one day. Being from opposite houses, the prejuidices were already set. THings only get worse when Shane accidentaily spilled some potion onto Sora's new shoes. Sora freaked, needless to say. The two have been enemies since.

Relationship: Crushing on Shane, Friends(I don't know if you want more than one of the same thing or not, though).
Background: Well, they've always sort of...vaguely known each other because they're in the same house and year...but they never talked. Until last year when Mel came back from being tortured by Harshing and Shane found her and helped her. Needless to say, their relationship is beyond awkward. Since Shane did this for her when she was particularly susceptible, though, Melanie has developed a pretty big crush on him, and she doesn't know what to do about it, because she knows she can't tell him. He knows that she's sick, and she's already accepted in her mind that he would hate her for it. Needless to say, she's in a bit of a rut.
