Appearance
Dawn is a short, skinny girl. Despite having a French surname, Dawn is 100% English and a proud resident of Manchester. Naturally she has quite boring, mousey-brown hair, but shortly after her fourteenth birthday she decided she hated it, and dyed her hair black with red stripes in her fringe
She usually wears her hair down and it reaches to just below her shoulders.
She normally dresses in a t-shirt and jeans, though if a big game’s on she’ll walk around all day in a Man U t-shirt and a pair of jeans, with bright red lipstick and three stripes of red, black and white on her left cheek.
Personality
Dawn is quite bad tempered and has the habit of occasionally saying stupid things, though she is quite clever. She’s terrified of the dark and heights.
She hates Quidditch and much prefers to play sports in which her feet are actually on the ground.
She loves football and horse riding. Her uncle breeds horses in Southern Spain and Dawn has her own horse there, a pure-bred Spanish stallion called Escabon.
She’s fun-loving and quite outgoing. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty.
She’s the kind of girl who’ll play football in the rain or swim in the lake in the middle of winter, which obviously means she’s continuously getting colds.
Though she tries not to be, Dawn is quite judgmental. She doesn’t believe in second chances, though people have to work quite hard to get on her bad side.
Se doesn’t get angry often but when she does it’s not a pretty sight. And on top of all that, she’s forgetful, usually quite hyper and often says and does randomly funny/weird things.

She also has a stutter, of which she is very self conscious. It developed when she was young, about five years old, and her brothers took every opportunity to tease her about it, until the point of crying.
She is also a bit of a cry-baby, though she’ll argue that she only cries when she’s angry.
History
Born in Manchester on the 29th of December, 1989, Dawn is the youngest of three, and the only girl in the family. Her mother died when she was young, leaving her with just her father and her twin brothers.
Her brothers, both considerably older than her, Nathaniel and Nicolas, showed no signs of magic growing up; in fact Dawn is the first of the family to be sent off to Hogwarts.
Growing up with three guys and no women around to learn from, other than her fathers many girlfriends, who Dawn and her brothers chased off almost immediately, she quickly settled into her role as “one of the lads” the moment she entered Muggle Primary School, and made very few friends amongst the girls.
She joined the local girls’ football (soccer) team at ten, and was kicked off six weeks after for starting a fight on field, though Dawn insists she was provoked.
She received her Hogwarts letter on the 12th of August, 2000 and celebrated her twelfth birthday halfway through the school year.
She didn’t meet many people during her first couple of years at Hogwarts, mostly due to her stutter, though as it is her fourth year at Hogwarts, she is determined to meet some people, make some friends, and leave this year with higher grades than anyone in her class.
