Gen had ordered a cup of tea adn was sitting in a far corner with a book. This was a new place she had come across and she fell in love with it. It was very relaxing and teh tea was great. There were never a lot of people inside so it was usually wuiet enough for her to read. The place also smelled great, it really relaxed Gen.

Today she was in a pair of black capris, with black sandals, and an electic green tight fitting tee-shirt. Her hair was curly as always and bouncing all around. Gen ahd taken another sip of her tea and sighed as she read on.

After a long day of walking around and finding things once again, Gwen was a little tired and felt like some tea would do her good. She had walked by it earlier and thought it looked nice. Ordering some iced tea and looked around the nearly empty place. Deciding she might as well meet someone new while she was at it, she sighed, put her hair back up in a ponytail and walked over to where another woman sat. "Um, Hello." She said, her voice quiet as always. "Would you mind if I sat here?" she asked, not realizing that the woman was reading until the words had already left her mouth.

Gen put he paper down and looked at the woman who had just approached her. Gen smiled at her and brushed her hair out of the way. "Hi. No one else is sitting there so sure." Gen said. She folded her paper up and put her elbows on the table, taking sips of her tea. "Im Genevieve Rasmuse. You can call me Gen, and you are?" Gen said looking at the wman sideways. She didnt recognize her from the school.

"Thank you. Gwen Ravin." she said as she folded the skirt of her dress beneath her as she sat down and held out her hand to shake. "You can call me Gwen, because well you can't shorten it very much." She smiled, mentaly shocked that something like that had come out of her mouth.

Gen smiled. She liked funny people. Gen sipped at her tea. She liked eeting new people, but this woman came up on her abruptly, so Gen had nothing to talk about.

"So, what are you doing in this little cafe? Do you work at hogwarts?" Gen said. She knew it was a lame answer, but it was something she wanted to knoe, she had never seen the woman around before.

"I came across it earlier and decided it looked like a nice place to stop, and I'm glad I did, they have good tea." She replied taking a sip of her drink. "I just moved back here last week, so I'm trying to get a job as a medi-witch there. What about you?"

"Thats nice. A medi-witch eh? I went on a date with one of the medi-wizards one day. Hes a nice guy, you'll like him. His names Jeraud." Gen said smiling at the sound of his name. The date they had was great, but Gen wasnt sure if he liked ehr or not. Gen took anotehr sip of her tea as she heard the woman speak.

"Ah, Im the potions professor and the head of gryffindor house. I just got the jobs about two ro three weeks ago. The students seem to like me, they sure do love my class!" Gen said smiling and giggling. "So did you go to school at hogwarts?" Gen asked leaning back adn sipping away at her tea.

"Well it is nice to know that the people I might be working with are nice people.." She said with a smile. "Potions huh, that must be interesting. I think kids are great. " She said taking a sip of her tea. "Yeah, I graduated about 6 years ago. I moved to Spain for a while, so it’s nice getting back home. What about you?"

Gen heard Gwens comment about nice people. Gen blushed. "Aw thanks. I try to be nice to everyone." She took another sip of her tea. "Potions IS great. My favorite subject of course." Gen said smiling. "Kids are great too, I wish I had one of my own." Gen said smiling sheepishly. She hadnt found her true love yet. Someone she wanted to spend her life with, and have a baby with.

Gen then listened to Gwen talk about her life. "Oh Spain! Was it beautiful there? I bet it was! What house were you in?" Gen asked. She then heard her ask about Gens life. "Oh well I lived in France for a long time, then I moved here at age 11. So naturally I went to Hogwarts. I wanted to go to Beauxbatons, but we had to move." Gen stopped she didnt want to give out too much information to someone who she just met. She took a sip of her tea and crossed her legs.

She nodded in agreement, she would love to have kids of her own someday." Yeah , I tried marriage once, but the children part of it just never worked out." That was all she had to say on that matter, she had been young and stupid and it had been a mistake.

"Spain was a beautiful place, but it isn't a move I'd make again, here will always be home. How was France?" She said, then paused to take a drink. " I was in Hufflepuff. What about you?"

Gen nodded as Gwen talked abotu being married. She had wanted to get married someday, but she hadnt found the right man yet. "I bet spain was beautiful. Ive never been there myself, even though its right next to France." Gen said giggling.

"France was the best place. I loved everything about it. I was never bored and it was always beautiful outside. I will probably never go back and live there though, I love it and all, but I love London too. Ill visit France again when Im old" Gen said sipping her tea. She realized her tea was almost gone, so she stood up to order another. But before going to teh counter she stopped and asked, "Would you like another iced tea? My treat." Gen asked.

"Yeah, it was a nice place. Well I think it ballences out, I've never gone to France, but I want to visit it sometime. It's just one of those places everyone want's to go before they die." She said thankful that Gen hadn't asked anything more about he marriage. "Sure. Thank you." She said as she finished off her own drink.

Gen gave the woman her drink. She liked Gwen. She felt they could be good friends. "So what do you do for fun Gwen?" Gen sipped at her tea.

"Reading and just socializing is always fun. I'm a little odd and like to sew things too. Being able to do my own thing is a little new to me, so I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I like to do in my spare time " She said taking a sip of her drink "What about you?

Gen smiled listening to Gwen. She couldnt stop smiling, she kept thinking about how good of friends they could be. She was so nice and liked the same things Gen liked. "Oh sewing is great! Its not odd at all. I wish I could sew." gen heard her ask her what she liked to do. "Well Im kind of in the same rut as you. Im not sure what I like to do. I love the outdoors and potions of course. And like you said, reading and socializing is always fun, but other than that, theres nothing else I like to do." Gen said sipping her tea.

"I'm not too much of an outdoors person." she admittedShe liked going for a walk in a park or whatever but that was as far as her outdoor fun went. "What do you like doing outdoors? Like camping and that kind of stuff?" she asked

Gen smiled. "Well I mostly like looking at the scenery. Theres nothing particular I like doing outside, just looking at it. Nature is beautiful if you really look." Gen said.

Gwen nodded in agreement, it was true, nature could be very beautiful, but she was happy with the pictures and the flowers in her windowsill. "So how long have you been teaching?" she asked.

"Oh I just started about halfway through this school year. Im fairly new but the students and staff seem to like me." Gen said.

"Oh, well it's good to know that I wouldn't be the only new one there." she said relived to know that, it was a little comforting to know that she wouldn't be alone when it came to that. "Was it hard to just start in the middle like that?"

Gen smiled. "Well if you ever need help with anything, Ill always be here." Gen said. "It was a bit difficult but Ive always been told that my bubbly personality makes people like me, so I guess it wasnt so bad."

"Thanks, I might need a lot of it." she said with a sigh that was quickly replaced once again with a smile. "Well, you seem like a very likeable person, so that doesn't really suprise me very much.

Gen smiled and blushed a bit. "Well Thanks, you are very likeable too. Any plans today?" Gen asked.

"Thanks, and no, I don't have any plans for today. I was just out shoping for a bit, ya know just finding my way around again. What about you, do you have any plans?" she asked.
