Title: Beautiful Scenery
Description: Open

Lisette Rasmuse - May 31, 2008 12:04 AM (GMT)
Lisette was sitting at one of the many tables. She had a sketch pad with her and a little bag of pencils. It was dusk and she decided that she wanted to try to draw the sunset with a view from the astronomy tower. She was drawing and sketching away at the view in front of her. It was so beautiful, Lis couldnt take her eyes off of it.

Her wrist started to hurt a bit so she decided to lean cak and stare at the view. SHe began to think to herself, mostly about Jesse. She did like him a lot, but she felt she might haev rushed into the whole relationship. Lis didnt know any other guys in the school! She felt she jumped into the relationship too quickly, she would have liked to look around for awhile.

As she was thinking this, someone had made a loud noise while entering the tower. Lis turned quickly and exclaimed, "Whos there?"

Shane Cross - May 31, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
Shane marched up the staircase with a purpose, wondering why it was possible for stairs to be flattened to go down, but not hexed to carry you up them. Nearing the entrance to the astronomy tower, he half hoped he would be alone, but if not he would settle for a decent conversation. Pushing open the door to the tower, it banged against the stone wall behind it rather loudly.

The room's sole occupant makes herself known the second he burst in, Shane raising his hands in mock surrender. Looks like he wasn't going to have the alone time he planned; he wasn't feeling ambitious enough to decend the stairs he had just conquered to find a different hideout. Glancing around the rest of the tower he walks over to the table she's sitting at, extending his hand. "Shane Cross, Gryffindor sixth year."

Lisette Rasmuse - May 31, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
Lis smiled when she saw the guy walk in. It was nice to have company. She watched him as he walked up to her and introduced himself. She stood up and grabbed his hand and gave it a shake. "Lisette Sophia Rasmuse 5th year Gryffindor." She said with a smile.

She sat back down and picked up her sketchbook. "Do you give that kind of greeting to every new person you meet?" Lis said giving him a cute smile and giggling. She thought it was quite funny that he would greet people in ths manner. She leaned back in her chair with her sketchbook and said, "What are you doing up here?"

Shane Cross - May 31, 2008 01:07 AM (GMT)
Shane smiles as the girl pops out of her chair to shake his hand. "Pleasure to meet you Lisette." He smirked as she made fun of the way he introduced himself. "Only to people who scare me" he replies with a charming smile. "Kidding of course."

His eyes flickered from hers down to her sketchpad, admiring her artwork. Shane didn't have an artistic bone in his body, he couldn't help but envy natural artists. "Just came up here to get away from the madness for a bit. Catch some fresh air. You just come up here to draw?"

Lisette Rasmuse - May 31, 2008 01:10 AM (GMT)
Lis blushed a bit. She saw that Shane was looking at her artwork. She didnt think she was a very good artist. "Yeah I came up here to draw the sunset. Its really pretty from thsi view." Lis said smiling. "Sorry to hear about your madness in yoru day. I hope Im not bothering you." Lis said a bit cautious.

Shane Cross - May 31, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Shane grinned as the girl blushed slightly. Were all the girls in this school so easily flustured? "Yeah it's quite a view alright. No matter how many times I come up here around sundown, I'm always impressed." He smiled at her as she apologized for something completely out of her control. "Bothering me? No not at all, I was kinda hoping I'd find someone to talk to up here."

Lisette Rasmuse - May 31, 2008 01:34 AM (GMT)
Lis smiled. SHe wanted someone to talk to too. "Well takea seat then." Lis said smiling and patting the hcair across from her. Lis then realized that she didnt even know thi guy barely. "So, I havent seen you around the school much. Whats up?"

Shane Cross - May 31, 2008 01:54 AM (GMT)
Shane nodded and sat in the chair indicated by Lis, leaning back and getting comfortable. It was definitely a relief to sit after climbing that blasted staircase again. "I've been kinda busy. Homework is killing me lately, but I've got it under control now, which is why I'm up here doing nothing academically productive."

Lisette Rasmuse - May 31, 2008 02:22 AM (GMT)
Lis kept drawing. She listened to Shane talk. "Yeah school's beena real bummer for me too. History of Magic mostly. The professor hands out loads of homework, and I hate homework." Lis said smiling and giggling. "Who do you usually hang out with?" Lis asked.

Shane Cross - May 31, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
Shane looked towards the horizon and watched the sun creep lower as Lis continued her sketch. "Yeah History is bad this year...I mean, I'm sure it's always sucked but now the professor hands out homework like we have no other classes this year." Lucky for him, some of the more booksmart members of his house had been struggling with potions work, and Shane had been too happy to help them out in exchange for favors involving History homework. Turning from the sunset, he looked to Lis' sketch before locking eyes.

"Eh..usually hang out with whoever can stand me," he says with a smirk. He wasn't about to drop names, not his style. "I do seem to get along with the Hufflepuffs a lot more often than people in my own house," he admits with a grin. "Gryffindors can be so dramatic sometimes."

Lisette Rasmuse - May 31, 2008 09:31 PM (GMT)
Lis laughed. "Yeah Gryffindors are usually always dramatic in my opinion." She said giggling. She set her sketchbook down and stood up. She knew she had left her bottle of water laying around somwehere so she deicded to get her wand out and find it. She held uop her wand and said, "Accio water bottle!" And there it was, underneath the table she was sitting at, just out of site. The bottle flew into her hand and she took a drink and sat back down. "Im pretty glad Im in Hufflepuff. Everyone I know is so nice." Lis said.

Shane Cross - June 1, 2008 11:53 AM (GMT)
Shane grins, shrugging nonchalantly. "Yeah well, ever since Potter came through the house, I think everyone sorted to Gryffindor has some sort of a hero complex. I think it drives everyone nuts that they missed attending school with him by just a couple years. Missed out on all of his fantastic adventures." He says the last remark with a hint of sarcasm. Shane had never really admired Harry Potter, who in his eyes was an average wizard with a knack for being incredibly lucky.

He smirked as she called her water bottle, surpressing a comment about being lazy. "Yeah I haven't really met a Hufflepuff I didn't like..you're all pretty easy to get along with," he says with a smile.

Lisette Rasmuse - June 3, 2008 01:35 AM (GMT)
Lis listened as Shane talked about Harry Potter and how everyone wanted to be like him. Lis smiled. She had heard the stories of him, but didnt care much for him either.

She took a drink out of her bottle and listened some more. "Maybe you should have been in hufflepuff." Lis said giggling. "I do know what youre talking about, most Gryffindors think theyre the best just because that was the house harry potter was in. I dont care for him much either." Lis said.

Shane Cross - June 3, 2008 05:13 PM (GMT)
Shane grimaces, shaking his head. "Nah..even though Hufflepuffs have proven to be great friends and fun to be around, I don't think I qualify to be one. I think I was sorted well," he says, thinking back to his first year and the sorting hat. He had argued quietly with the hat for almost thirty seconds before being placed in Gryffindor. If he had known what damage it would do to his life later on down the road, would he have made the same choice...?

Snapping out of his thoughts, he looks back up to Lisette. "Glad to find someone else who doesn't hero worship him. Some Gryffindors are confident in their abilities because they've got skill..nothing to do with the emblem on our robes."

Lisette Rasmuse - June 6, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
Lis nodded at Shane to let him know she was listening. Shane was finished talking, and then Lis didnt know what to say. She pondered for a minute and then said, "What do you do for fun?"
