Title: Hufflepuff table

Emily Fall - May 31, 2008 10:32 PM (GMT)
Emily walked into the great hall. It was just like her parents told her it would look like. After looking for a while Emily decided to sit down at her house table. There wasn't much of people there but she did mind. She had just started her at Hogwarts. Because she had just transfered from Beauxbatons Academy in France (her parents said Hogwarts would be better than the all girls school because of what they called 'cattyness') Emily didn't mind because she never really had much friends at Beauxbatons. As Emily was about to start reading a book another Hufflepuff sat down next to her.

Mairead Gray - May 31, 2008 10:42 PM (GMT)
Mairead had been absorbed in a Transfiguration book that she had brought from home, and had been walking down the hall to the Great Hall with her head in a book, and her glasses slipping off the bridge of her nose, not bothering to push them back up until they had almost fallen off.

Once she had gotten inside the Great Hall, the sound of students chattering away greeted her, and she immediately moved towards the Hufflepuff table. She was so absorbed in her book that she didn't even notice where she had sat down until she put down her book, trying to see if food had come yet.

It took her a few moments to realize that she was sitting next to a Hufflepuff girl in her year, at least, that was what she had presumed, as the girl looked as though she was the same age as Mairead.

"Hi," she said to the other girl. "Not sure we've met. My name's Mairead."

"Um Hi nice to meet you Mairead I'm Emily". Emily notice Mairead was reading the book that she was about to start reading herself. Emily had alway loved Transfiguration and it was the subject she was best at. Emily had always been a geek at heart but when you first look at Emily's blue hair and piercings everywhere you wouldn't think she was one.

"Wow I was just about to start reading that book. What are the chances" Emily told Mairead. Emily decided not to read her book but to start playing with her drum sticks. Emily still was making friends but she still was looking her people to start a band with.
