AJ strutted into the Great Hall walking past the other tables directly to his houses table. He towered over many students being well over six feet tall. His books were in his right hand while his burned and mangled left were hidden in his robes.

He sat near some fellow Ravenclaws and asked, "Any plans this summer? I plan on staying around, but wish I could go back to Bristol for some rugby."

He waited for someone to reply.

OOC: I'll be on these boards basically all day. I work at my university in a boring office and am always on the net. I'll be looking for some great story lines so if you want something interesting let me know. I'll be waiting at the table. Perhaps I'll look around the grounds. I work from 7:30AM-4PM Arizona time.

"Hi, AJ." Mona said, who was sitting opposite him, helping herself to some steak and kidney pie. "Summer? Well, I'm staying here. My mum and Dad are always away, so it's always lonely at home. But Hogwarts is different. I've got loads of company here.
What about you?"

"Well, I plan on being in the Tournament, if I'm accepted..."

He had hoped to be selected for the Ravenclaw, but had recently begun doubting this.

"If not, I plan on going back to Bristol, playing Muggle sports."

Andrej smiled, he loved muggle sports.

Ana walked into the Great Hall and joined her fellow classmates at the table.

"Hey guys, hope I didn't interrupt anything."

She sat down, happy to finally get a break and glanced around.

"Oh hy Anna!" he said as she sat down. He took a bite out of his fluffy pancakes.

"Nothing is really going on right now, just breakfast."

AJ was thinking about what he was going to go do this day after his classes.

"How are classes going?"

Ellie was humming to herself as she came into the Great Hall. She was in a very good mood, mainly because she had finished her work and was taking the rest of the day off. She strolled into the Great Hall and headed over to the Ravenclaw table, she joined a group of people sitting there, she didn't know them but recognised them.

"Hi, I'm Ellie Patterson, is it okay if i join you?"
she smiled at them.

He looked up at the other addition to their breakfast club. "Join, join."

He couldn't quite remember the girls year, "I'm sorry, what year are you in. I forget quite easily."

He smiled at the girl.

She was warmly welcomed.

"Oh I'm in fifth year, your in sixth right?" she smiled at the boy.

She took a piece of toast, buttered it and then began munching, toast was one of her favourite snack foods, it could be eaten at any time of the day, with numerous different toppings.

She looked around the table there was already two girls there along with the boy, she smiled at them.

He looked at the other girls who were busy eating and reading the Daily Prophet.

"Fifth year eh? OWLs then? Must be tough. But NEWTs are worse. Still easy enough for us Ravenclaws." He laughed at his little joke.

Ellie laughed a little uneasily, to be honest she wasn't finding the OWL's that easy, she had always questioned being put in Ravenclaw, she was smart maybe, but she always had to work for it unlike some of her housemates who didn't have to work that hard.

"So What are you doing for NEWT?"

she smiled.

He gave the list of classes he was taking (OOC: I don't want to think of all of the classes, sorry, too lazy to list).

"But Transfiguration is my favourite. It is amazing." He mentioned how he was top n his year as well.

"Could you pass me the jam please." he asked the girl.

Top in his year, pfft. Someone was obviously gifted, Ellie wasn't suprised considering she was in Ravenclaw she had gotten used to being surrounded by extremley smart people during her five years. Ellie's favourite subject, well she would have liked to put Quidditch first but it wasn't really a subject so if she had to pick anything else she would have to pick Defense against the Dark arts, it was so active. Transfiguration wasn't really her strong point, she was okay at it she could do simple transfiguration but nothing extraordinary.

Ellie passed the jam to him. "Cool, more of a Defense against the Dark arts person, me" she smiled.

"I love the Dark Arts." Realizing how that sounded he needed to add more. "Not actually the Dark Arts, but defending it. You know what I mean then. Right?"

He was all tounge tied.

"Well I'm heading up to the Common room then, meet me there later?"

OOC: lets just combined this with the other thread we have. Too confusing having a conversation with the same person during two different times.

"Yeah I get you!" she laughed

"Sure see you later!"

she smiled, finished her toast and headed out of the hall.

Annabelle walked into the great hall, frustrated. It had been a truly frustrating day, and now all she wanted to do was stuff her face with some baked potatoes. As she approached the Ravenclaw table, she saw A.J. there with Ellie. She had never really met Ellie, but she knew A.J. well enough to be able to sit down and try to start a conversation.

She plopped down across from him and immediately pushed all feelings of frustration into the back of her mind.

"Hi, A.J. How are you today?" she said. "I'm Annabelle, by the way." She added for Ellie's benefit.

"The Tetrawizard Tournament? Cool, I haven't been in this school long enough to enter, you know, how it's really complex and such.."Mona replied.
Then she saw Ana coming.
"Hi, Ana." she said.
Mona also recognised the second person coming in as Ellie Patterson, but the third person, she had no idea who.. or perhaps, she had forgotten..

The Great Hall was being filled faster now with students who wanted breakfast. More Ravenclaws were jumping into conversation with him.

"Hullo," he said, now wanting to be alone.

Being polite he added, "How are you this morning?"

Annabelle saw Mona sitting a little bit away from them all and felt ashamed. She should have seen Mona there, and now she looked like a mean person for not greeting her.

"Hi, Mona! I'm sorry, I didn't see you sitting there."

A.J. had asked how she was doing, but Annabelle couldn't help but feel awkward. There was a pained expression on his face, as though he was uncomfortable with her around. Maybe it was because there were so many people at the table?

Or, she thought, maybe he thinks you're just a stupid little first year. She sighed sadly at that. It was probably true. She had heard him even say that first years drove him mad.

"I'm doing alright, I guess," she answered him quietly. Maybe everyone would be much happier if she just took her food and ate in the common room?

He noticed a friendly little first year striking conversation with her.

"How's your first year here going? You like all of the teachers?"

He was still eating, scratching the scruff on his face.

Anna couldn't help but smile. It really was nice to see that he was interested in her life.

"Well, so far I'm not a huge fan of anything, really. I mean, it is nice to be able to do magic and stuff, but I can't seem to make friends very well, especially with people in my year, because they think I'm a show-off or something. And some of the Professors seem nice, but then you have the one's that are strict and fly off the handle for no reason at all."

It was true, professors were a little tough, and students were sometimes mean.

"A favourite clas yet? I love Transfiguration. Fasinating it is."

He was nearly done with all of his food and was about ready to go to a class he had later in the morning.

"Hmm, so far I think I like Potions, but Charms is pretty fun too." she replied. She could see him preparing to go, and she decided that it was probably a good time for her to sneak up to the library to do some important research.

"Well, I'm sorry to make this short, but I must be off. See you guys later!" she called over her shoulder.

AJ finished off some bacon and followed suit. He was getting ready for one of his most hated classes: charms.


"By all," he waved to the entire table.
