Mia was sitting in a corner of the library, a book on her lap. She had been very busy studying for tests that she hadn't had much time for relaxation. Yet, here she was now, taking advantage of her extra time. If someone didn't know what house she was in, they would've thought that she was a Ravenclaw.

Mia was reading a romance novel. It was a modern version of Romeo and Juliet, though it wasn't West Side Story. Mia really wasn't aware of the world around her...

AJ was going to the library to catch up on his Transfiguration homework and read Transfiguartion Today. He went back to the corner of the library where he always goes since no one is ever there. He was startled when he saw a blonde haired girl sitting in his favourite spot.

He noticed it was Mia a girl whom he always flirted with. He thought she was so cute, but then again AJ was noticing girls for the first time. In the past he had been so preoccupied with sports and reading.

AJ loved the way she smiled at him when they talked.

"Hey Mia," he whispered sitting down next to her.

Mia looked up from her book when she heard, "Hey Mia." It was AJ. Mia smiled, "Hey yourself!" She put her bookmark in her book and put it down. She felt that there probably wasn't going to be time for it now. There would probably be at least a bit of flirting.

He sat down, putting his books away. He sat down very close to her. She looked extremely attractive in her short skirt. She was very flirtatious in that way. Her legs looked so nice.

"What were you reading?" He said leaning over her reaching for the book.

Whatever it was, it looked boring. As he pulled back he noticed how lovely her hair smelled.

Mia looked at him. He was definately cute. Mia stretched her legs out on the floor so that her short skirt wouldn't expose too much.

"My grandma suggested it it. It's a love story," she said plainly when AJ asked about her book.

"Love, eh? I would love to do a lot of things now" he said with a smile.

He wasn't normally like this, but ever since a few days ago he finally loosened up around girls.

"Doesn't look like anyone else is around," he observed, winking at Mia.

Mia smiled to herself, wondering what he was suggesting. She started getting really excited, knowing that something good was coming.

"Well, no it doesn't," she said, smiling mischievously.

Over the past few weeks the chemistry between these two students had boiled over. They had come close to kissing many time but never had. AJ placed his hand on her leg and leaned in close to her.

"Do you have anything in mind?"

Mia's heart skipped a beat when he leaned in closer. "This might be it!" she thought. She smiled.

"Well, I do. What do you have?" she asked quietly.

He was hoping she would take charge, but when she didn't he figured she wanted it as badly as he did. His hand moved higher on her leg. He pulled his head closer to hers and kissed her on the lips. It was soft, short, but pleasing.

"Is that what you had in mind?"

He kissed her again.

Mia had wanted the kiss so badly that her whole body relaxed when it came. When he asked her if that was what she had had in mind, she just whispered, "Pretty much." Then, she went back to kissing.

He pulled back not wanting to take it too far. After all so many events had happened recently he didn't know what was going on anymore.

He leaned back in his chair with his hand still on her inner thigh.

"Erm...maybe we should get back to studying right now." he said awkwardly.

"And later we could..." he didnt know what to say, "Get back to this."

He smiled at her realizing where his hand was. He picked up his copy of Transfiguration Today.

"Are you in exams?"
