Mona shivered out in the cold and hurried towards the three broomsticks. She ordered a butterbeer and walked to a free table. She held her cloak tightly, still freezing. But then, her freezing stopped as she saw someone walk to her table.

Emily walked into the tree broomsticks. It was freezing outside so Emily was glad to get inside. There weren't anymore free tables so Emily thought she would see if anyone she knew was inside.

Emily spotted a girl from Ravenclaw who she thought was in one of her classes. Emily walked up to the girl and asked "Um, can I sit?"

Mona looked up at the girl who had just approached her and smiled as she asked if she could sit.
"Of course you can. I am in need of a little company here." She nodded at and empty chair next to her. "I'm Mona Woods. Second Year."
