*Veronica walked swiftly up the steps to the Owlery. She had to send a letter to her Muggle parents... it;s actually been 2 months since her last full-on "review" of Hogwarts. She went to the School Owls section, to find the perfect one*

"Hmmm....," Veronica whispered thoughtfully.
*Suddenly her blue eyes touched big amber ones. She found the perfect owl. A Snowy Owl*
"Well," she said to the owl, "Aren't you beautiful?"

Robyn walked up to the owlery, her cat trailing behind her, She had tried to get it to go away, but no such luck, She pushed opened the door and didn't seem to recognize Veronica. She shook her head at her silly owl.
"Oh Alice! Why do you always seem to get into the school owls section." Her owl happily flew from Veronica to Robyn shoulder causing Ana to hiss. Robyn snapped, "Ana sit. Hush." She carefully put the owl where it belongs before realizing, "Oh, would you like to use her? It looked like you were going to.." Robyn turned to look at Veronica. "Veronica!" She laughed, "I didn't recognize you at all!"

"Hey!," Veronica exclaimed. She completely forgot the owl was Robyn's. "Well, Robyn, if it's okay with you... sure, I'll use her. She's just so...," Veronica trailed off. Slytherins and Gryffindors were not supposed to get along, but heck, they couldn't help if they were friends.

Robyn smiled, knowing what Veronica was thinking about. "We're good up here as long as certian people.. like my rwin... don't find us!" Robyn grinned, "And yea, she is really lovely." Robyn carefully stroked her owl. Her cat hissed, mad she wasn't getting attention. Robyn silenced her.

Veronica hesitated. "Sometimes... I'm just so sick of it. For. as long as Hogwarts been, there's been, like, no lasting friendships from our houses."
Veronica tied her letter to the owl's foot. "And, we was the last time we had a good conversation?," she added.

Robyn nodded, agreeing. “Yup. But hey, I bet we beat the record!” Robyn winked, “But then again, I am defiantly NOT your average Slytherin girl, Veronica.” Robyn looked serious, and smiled, breaking the tension. “The last time? Oh… last year maybe? We were silly second years… or was I a second year and you a third year… I dunno, but either way it’s been ages! So, how’s your life?” Robyn asked.

Veronica studied Robyn. "Yes, I was a third year then... wow. It really has been long." She smiled at the memory. "I'm fine, I've been reading a lot..." Veronica laughed. Of couse, she had been reading a lot! "What about you? Have you meet a boy?" Veronica teased.

Robyn laughed, “Yea, seriously. But I shall never forget the midnight walks outside. I still walk out there at night…” Robyn let the sentence hang. “Oh I never expected YOU to read a lot Veronica!” Robyn grinned. “AND, I’ve actually been reading a bit too. Some Edgar Allen Poe, my friend Tristan sent it to me. He told me, ‘It’s gruesome, it’s depressing, it’s a bit romantic, it’s mysterious, it’s scary, and it’s absolutely perfect for you to read.’ Yea, that’s some serious respect.” Robyn rolled her eyes, “But I love him anyway. And boys? Oh jeez… yea I guess, Zane Hart. He’s two years ahead of me, but since I’m a bit off age wise he’s only a year older than me. And he’s in Slytherin, so it’s a bit shocking that I like him. Oh, and I have another friend from Slytherin, also shocking, April Teagan, she’s pretty cool.” Robyn thought for more, and couldn’t seem to find anything else, “So how ‘bout you, any boooys?”

OOC: I did the April thing on purpose. I heard you two didn't like each other much. HA. Sorry... bit tired...

Veronica's heart stopped. April... April Teagan. "Well, April." she started. "Oh.. and I do kinda like this boy... AJ.... he's older than me, too. We started talking and... I am so totally crushing." Veronica never admitted her feelings, but with Robyn, she could. "It's just....," Veronica tried to start again.. "April likes him... and I think he likes her."

OOC: Nice one. Lol.

Robyn smiled at Veronica, “Yea, Andrej…” Robyn left it. She didn’t like Andrej much, but mostly because she was scared he would hurt April, and now she had every reason to not like him. Both her friends where crushing on him.
“Not just likes…” Robyn muttered, thinking about the rumors she’d heard. She shrugged, “I dunno Veronica. He doesn’t seem all that great to me, but then again I have good reasons for not liking him… which I can’t tell you…” Robyn sighed.

Veronica tried to understand the sentence Robyn just said. " Well, urm... I just really like him." He made her feel that bubbly feeling, she had bufferflies in her stomach whenever their eyes met. Maybe, it was love. "He's been nice to me and all..." Veronica trailed off.

Robyn smiled, “Okay Veronica. Just promise me not to get hurt okay? And I know you really like it. I can see it every time you mention his name, BUT promise me not to get hurt.” Robyn knew far too much about getting hurt. She knew all about it, except for being left a single mother and such but even that Robyn had tasted. When she was six…

Veronica rushed and hugged Robyn. "Robyn, you care too much. But, I promise," she said. She didn't want him to hurt her... but, really, how could he?

Robyn stiffened for only a second when Veronica hugged her. “Good. And I just know a lot about getting hurt.” Robyn shrugged. “And I thought… haven’t you heard the rumors Veronica?” Robyn asked, hoping she HAD and knew what she was getting into.

Veronica racked her brains. "No... actually... I didn't. But, I don't know if I wanna know," she joked. Maybe.... they were bad though, she could take a hint.

Robyn swallowed, “It’s… not very good no… but it may save you from a lot. And I know these rumors are true, I asked one of the two involved.” Robyn scratched her head. She hated bad news, but this would help out and she knew it.

Veronica hestitated even more, but she knew Robyn wanted the best for her. "Fine, tell me..." she said quietly.

Robyn bit her lip ring. She took a deep breath, “Well umm… Andrej and April… well… in the requirement room…sort of…” Robyn scratched her head, she didn’t know exactly how to say it, “Slept together. That’s why their uniforms were a bit… not together. I even got Andrej to tell me if it… if it was true and… it is. And I’m sorry. And I’m not lying; I wouldn’t do that to you. I just don’t want you to have a one night stand with him.” Robyn looked down at her feet.

Veronica looked akwardly around. April... why here? But, then again, she wasn't really ready for that type of "relationship." "Well, urm... thanks Robyn. I know it's good intentions."

Robyn sighed, “I’m sorry. I am really. And I know I can’t fix things at all…” Robyn shrugged. “Okay, I’m not gonna talk about this anymore. So, Veronica you wanna go to the grounds? Or the library? Or SOMEWHERE. I think my skin is itching to get out of this tower.” Robyn smiled, trying to make things a bit better.
