To get out onto the grounds the cloaked figure went to the towers and scaled down. It knew the gate would be locked with the tightest magical security.
When it got down to the grassy fields he pull out his wand, sending a spell it made a field of white roses, at least a hundred. It took many attempts to get them looking quite right.
The figure knew that it needed theatrics to get attention, and this surely would make students interested in what it had to say. But it wasn't time to divulge its ideas. It wanted to let the students think about the phrase it had put in the Great Hall and had decided to spell with the roses.
"WE WILL NOT BE SILENT"
Only from above could it be read, but below students would see dozens of White Roses planted all over.
It whispered to itself, "This should get there attention." And smiled as it realized there was no way back inside the castle, unless it wanted to use secret passages which could be gaurded at night.
The cloaked figure went off into Hogsmeade, it was warm there.
Carly was at the quidditch pitch, trying to practice a little bit. She had other things that needed to be done, but she hadn't played in a while and she wanted to be sure she still had her skills. As she flew higher in the air, something to the side caught her eye. She stopped her broom and looked over, noticing something white in the grass. It didn't look like it should be there. Being very interested in this, she flew over to it. White roses. As she stared at it, she finally saw what it said.
"We will not be silent." Carly read aloud.
She sat there for a good five minutes, just staring. She pondered what this could mean. And white roses? She had no idea. She had many thoughts and wondered whether she should tell someone or not. She slowly landed her broom next to the message of roses. She looked around, scared, but curious. She knelt down and picked up one of the roses, looking at it and still thinking. She suddenly felt like this was much more than she thought. A chill ran up her spine.
