Casey and John somewhat carried AJ into the hospital wing, at this point AJ could kind of walk, but he still needed help from the two Hufflepuffs. A duel in the forbidden forest had left him with cracked skull. The others were somewhat scratched up, but no where near as bad as AJ. The others had gone and done their own thing, which was probably best, seeing as that many people in the hospital wing would be more than suspicious. Casey helped AJ over to a bed, hoping that a medi-witch would come soon. "How ya holdin up AJ?"

AJ was struggling to walk most of the way up to the Hospital Wing.

"Oi, I'm fine." they both shot him looks knowing he wasn't fine. "But I know I need help."

He was now laying down, sweating from his weak struggling walk, blood dripping still. "Remember quidditch. Fell off broom. Or hit with bludger."

He was happy to be out of harms way but couldn't help but worry about the others.

Hearing someone enter and start talking behind her, Gwen turnned around and saw a small group of students, one laying down . once she was able to walk closer,she could see the blood, and that he didn't look well, she recognized the boy in the bed. "Aj, what happened?" she asked,

AJ wasn't ready to lie, he expected someone else to tell their fib. But when he was pointed out he knew the story they had made up. "Er...playing Quidditch...hit with bludger...fell to ground." he moaned. He wasn't faking his injury, it was extremely painful.

Gwen wasn't dumb, she knew when she someone was lying to her, but like always, she didn't say anything, if they didn't tell her exactly what had happened, she couldn't make him. "Well, you'll have to be more carefull, you're lucky it wasn't any worse than that." she said healing his head. "Is that all I can help you with?"

Casey waited at AJ's bed, watching as Gwen healed him. She was glad that she didn't ask any further questions, although she looked like she didn't believe the AJ's story. "Is he gonna be ok?" Casey asked, looking up at Gwen hopefully. She was pretty sure AJ would be at this point, but Casey couldn't help but worry.

He was glad she wasn't pushing him to tell the truth. He had once gotten drunk with Gwen at the Hog's Head, he knew he could trust her.

"Yeah, eveything else on me is A-okay." he said. He looked over at Casey and John. "Might want to check them out. They carried me over here. Might have broken their backs."

He laughed, but it hurt his head a little.

"Yeah, he will be fine." Sa said, her usual smile inplace on her lips. "But you should stay here over night or so so we can keep an eye on you." She looked over at the other two "Are you two okay?" she asked.

AJ laid back as she turned her attention to his friends. He just wanted to rest, for as long as he needed to. The last thing he needed was nosey first years asking him a million questions about what happened. Yet he still couldnt help think that it was a set up and someone told Flame they'd be there. Or maybe she was really that creepy and lurked in the woods.

John was glad to hear that Aj was going to be alright, and that the medi-witch hadn't asked any more questions, but he still felt a little guilty for not telling the truth, even if he hadn't been the one who had told the lie. "Are ya feeling any better?" he asked AJ.

Valentina hade just entered the hospital wing and was now looking for Aj, Casey and John.

She spotted them on the far corner, and was relieved to see that Aj was feeling better- since he was laughting.

She let out a sigh of relief and walked slowly towards them. She noticed that she never saw that nurse before. When she got hurt on her second year, she had only met Fawne.

"h-how's it going?" she asked smiling, but a huge amount of concern could be easily noticed.

"Everyone is fine, how's the others?" he asked worrying about the girls who had stayed back. He thought of everyone who was there, not realizing they might still be in the Forest. everything was happening so fast.

"Has the bleeding stopped?" he asked, "If so, I need to go find everyone."

Valentina looked at him as if he was mad.

"you can't, Aj! And anyway... April..." she wondered if she should tell him the truth, but she was too scared he would panic. Still, she was his friend, and Aj had all the right to know.
"April's fighting... against her... Flame!..." She was slightly hoping the nurse would recognise she was talking about Flame Harshing.

she realised what she had just said, and gasped.

"i mean... you should see them! A full Quidditch match... like the proper ones... Fighting for the Snitch... But Aprils good... She'll win!... She's our Seeker!"

she gave a sigh of relief. She didn't know she could lie so quickly.
