Gen carried her last box in. She liked doing things the muggle way once in awhile. She was pretty exhausted from carrying everything in so she decided to use magic to put it all away. With the flick of her wrist, everything from the boxes and the out of place furniture all went to its respectful places. Gen was quiet satisfied with her work so she decided to sit down on her newly bought couch. She sat for a minute then decided to get some tea-the muggle way. She got her tea then drank it all in one drink. She then decided to go take a dip in her pool.

She swam around and did a bunch of dives. She was wearing a yellow bathing suit that matched well with her tan. She felt so pretty and sucessful, just buying her own home. And what a great home it is!

Gwen knocked on the door to Gen's new house, she was almost sure she had the right address, but it wouldn't be the first time that she hadn't .Gwen had promised that she would help her unpack, be she had overslept and was running late, but she had decided to come by anyway, and hoped her friend was in.

Gen had stepped otu of the pool to grab a towel when she heard a knock at the door. She quickly wrapped her towel around her and and answered the door. Gen was a bit embarassed but soon found out that it was Gwen, her good friend. "OH hi Gwen! I just finished unpacking everything and took a dip in the pool. Come on in." Gen said moving aside to let Gwen enter.

She smiled when Gen opened the door, at least she had gotten the right house "Sorry I didn't show up sooner, I guess I over slept."she explained a little embarased. "Nice house." she said as she stepped in and looked around.

"Thanks. Oh and dont worry about being late I unpacked using magic. Got done pretty quickly." Gen said following Gwen and talking about her house. "Its got 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The basement is finished and is like a party area and I have a pool!" Gen said pointing out her backdoors.

"That's good, I unpacked the muggle way and it took me a couple days to took through everything and get it all put away"She said listening to Gen talk about her new house, it was even more impressive then what she had origionaly had thought "Wow. That's amazing.

"I packed everything the muggle way, then decided to do it easier when it came to putting it all away." Gen said walking to the kitchen and putting a pot of tea on. "So what do you think of teh place?" Gen asked.

"I like it, it's really lovely.," she said following her into the kitchen. "The more I think about it, the more I realize I should have moved into something a bit bigger than a three room apartment."

The tea was ready. She poured Gwen and herself a cup. She slid the cup over to Gwen. "Oh well theres nothing wrong with a three bedroom apartment if you do it right." Gen said giggling and sipping at her tea.

"Your right, I just bought the smallest thing that I could find now that it's just me living there, I didn't see the point of getting an actual house, but now that I have an actual job, I should probably look into one. Thanks for the tea by the way." She said taking a sip from her cup.

"Oh no problem." Gen said. "I decided to get a big place because I might start a fmily someday and I want to be prepared." Gen said sipping her tea.

"Well that makes sense. How's thing's been going in the men department?" she asked, She might as well here about how her romantic life was going, hers didn't exist, but that was fine with her."Do you have any plans for today?"

Gen giggled when she heard Gwen ask her about the men in her life. "Well I dont haev a boyfriend, but I havea couple of guys Im seeing. Theres one in particular that I REALLY want to be with. Things are going good between me and him, so I think we will end up together, it just takes time." Gen said filling her tea up some more and filling Gwens also.

"Well, it's smart of you to not rush into things. It's easy to forget that things like that really do take time." She said taking a sip of tea, she had been one of the dumb kids who thought it would work over night. "Who are you seeing, would I know him?"

Gen smiled. "Thats godo advice Gwen." She said happily. "Oh you might know him. Its Jeraud Cynster. Hes a Medi-Wizard at Hogwarts, and hes adorable." Gen said giggling.

Gen then remembered that she was still in a bathing suit. She blushed and looked at Gwen. "Ill be right back." she said as she bolted up the stairs. She got changed into some more comfortable clothes then returned to Gwen. "Anything you want to do? Swim? Play some games in the basement? Whatever you want. Youre my guest" Gen said.

"Yeah, he's really a nice guy." She said, approving in her friends choice in men. She looked up when Gen said she'd be back, she only then noticed that she had been in her swimsuit, "Oh I don't mind what we do. Why don't we just sit and talk?"

"Ok." Gen said thinking it to be a good idea. "Lets sit in the living room. Its cozy in there." Gen said smiling. They walked into teh livign room and it was filled with a big red french couch and two red french chairs by the window. There were book shelves on a couple walls and a fireplace with pictures of her family on the mantle. Gen got her wand out and lit a fire. She then moved the chaird by the window, over in front of the fire. She also moved an end table that was by the couch in between the two chairs. All of this doen with magic mind you, Gen was a bit tired from unpacking and swimming. Gen smiled at Gwen and motions for her to sit down. They sat in front of the fire with their tea in hand. "This is nice, dont you agree?" Gen said warmy. This was one of her favorite things to do.

"Yeah, I like it.. I love the red furniture, you don't really see a lot of chairs and things in this color do you? Its really a lovely house.." She said as she sat down on the red couch. "Do you have any other plans for today?"

Gen sipped her tea then set her cup down and warmed her hands by the fire. "Oh not really. Just staying home and enojying my house." Gen heard her comment baout her furniture. "Thank you it was a splendid find! I was so excited when I saw them in the store!" Gen said excitedly. "You are welcome to stay tonight if you like. We could find something to do. We could have a slumber party like we are kids again!" Gen said excitedly.

"Yeah, that sounds like loads of fun!" Gwen said with a smile when Gen suggested a sleepover. It had been so long since she had had one, or had even really had friends of her own to do something with, the thought excited her.

Gen smiled. She was so glad that Gwen wanted to do this. Gen had not done anything like this in a long time, since she was a chikld. Since summer was here and she didnt have much to do besides grade papers and start a new lesson plan. That stuff can wait, its time to have fun! Gen thought to herself.

She ran upstairs amd grabbed a bunch of blankes and pillows. She came back down and looked at Gwen. "Should we have it in the living room? We could have it in the basement or upstairs." Gen said. "Its up to you."

She laughed when Gen came back down with the blankes and pillows, asking here where she wanted to have the sleepover. "Well I don't know, I havent seen the rest of the house, "

Gen smirked. "Well then lemme show you!" Gen said pulling Gwen up by the arm. They went upstairs and Gen showed her the three bedrooms. "Heres the three bedrooms upstairs. And the bathroom." They looked into each room. "This might be a bit small. We should probably stay down stairs." They went downstairs and Gen showed her the master bedroom. "Heres my bedroom! Isnt it huge!" Gen said. She loved her master suite. Then Gen headed for teh basement. "This is a petty cool room. Theres a pool table, a couch with a ncie big tv, and new carpet. Its a full finished basement." Gen walked to the other side of the basement. "I even have a kitchen down here! But no bathroom, but theres one on the first floor." Gen said. They went back upstairs to where the blankets were. Gen picked them up. "So where would you liek to have our sleepover? Your the guest, you choose." Gen said smiling.

(sorry it sucks i'm cooking dinner.)

The rest of the house was just as impressive as what she had already see. "Want to have it down stairs?" she asked.

Gen smiled. "Sounds like a plan!" The yheaded downstairs and Gen started to set up. Gwen helping out. Gen grabbed some food from upstairs and put it in the downstairs fridge. After setting it all up, Gen ran upstairs and put on some cute pajamas. She came back down and said, "Ok, its a slumber party now!" Gen looked around for am oment. "What should we do first?"

"You get to pick that, I got to pick where we were going to have it." She felt like a kid again, having the many arguments over what they were going to do, or more accurately who was going to decide what they should do, Gwen being very indecisive had always had the problem. "This is going to be so much fun!" she said, so excited she was almost to the point of jumping up and down. "I haven't done anything like this in ages."

"I know!" Gen said just as excited. "But we must think of something to do." Gen pondered for a moment, then had a good idea. "I know! We can make popcorn and watch movies! Then we can cast spells on things and do anything we think of!" Gen said. She was the indecisive one in her family, and she could tell Gwen was the same way. "What do you think?" Gen said a bit wearily. She didnt think it was the best idea, being to broad and all, but it was a start.

"I think that sounds great!" She said happily, she wasn't sure where the energy and excitement was coming from but she felt like she was a little kid who had just ate half a pound of sugar. “We could stay up all night doing stuff!”

Gen got a bit giddy herself. "Oh yes! It will be so fun!" She Immediatley went to the cabinets and got out two bags of popcorn and used her wand to heat them up. It was done and Gen also brought some tea and soda. She sat down on the blankets with the drinks and popcor and said, "Ok now you pick out the movie." Gen said only being fair.

"Wow, popcorn and everything." she said with a smile, it was something so simple but something she hadn't had in a while and made her smile. "That's one of the advantages of magic, isn't it. The convieniance of getting things done so much faster?"she said once Gen had heated it magically. "Well what kind of movies do you like?" she asked wanting to make sure she chose one that they would both enjoy.

Gen sat crosslegged next to Gwen. She pondered at her question for a moment. Gen didnt have a specific type of movie she liked. "Well I like horror movies, funny movies are good too. I like musicals and documentaries too." Gen said. "I dont care what you pick, Ill watch anything atleast once." She said smiling. She was trying her hardest to make Gwen feel comfortable and at home.

She thought for a moment about what movies they could watch. "Hmm, what about Texas Chainsaw Massacre?" She asked, she remembered watching the movie one summer before she graduated and she and her older sister ended up sleeping on the couch together. Now she was older and was sure, that it wouldn't scare her that bad.

(it's the first movie that came to mind.)

Gen smiled. "I love that movie! Lets put it in!" Gen used her wand. She summoned the disk onto the tray and then pushed the button manually. "Sorry. I figured Id be lazy about it" Gen said smirking.

She giggled, "Well why get up and look for it when you can stay siting and comfortable?" She asked, glad that Gen liked her choice in movie. "When I was little, this movie used to scare me and my sister so bad." It was an odd thing to talk about but it was just something that wouldn't leave her mind until she said it.

gen ate some popcorn. "Yeah! I used to get scared too!" Gen said with a smile. The movie started and the girls were giggling and screaming every so often. The movie got to the part where you see Thomas Hewitt for the first time. He jumped out and Gen screamed. "That part gets me every time!" Gen said laughing.
