Gen walked into her classroom a few minutes before the time she told Flame to meet her here. Gen cleaned her office up a bit to make some room for Flames potion-making. She wasnt quite sure how she was going to make it.

As Gen was cleaning up, she kept feeling so glad for helping Flame. Now that she knew her past from Lycs, she couldnt help but feel bad. But she kenw that Flame wouldnt like sympathy, so Gen decided it was best to stay casual and friendly; not to mention her past.

Gen was almost finished cleaning up when she heard a knock at the door. "Come in" Gen said.

Flame walked in and attempted to smile in a friendly way (though it didn't turn out that way as Flame has no idea what friendly actually is so it turned out as more of a grimace) at Gen, and pulled her hair back into a tidy, high-placed ponytail. She flicked her wand and a cauldron appeared and then collected the ingredients she would need.

Before starting she moved over to the professor. "I'd like you to watch and take note of how I do this. It's just... I don't know how bad I'm going to get in the next few months, and this potion doesn't always work, if I cmpletely loose my temper it fails and I need more before I do something stupid. The only other way to stop me if I lose it is to calm me down and that's hard." she told the professor. "Would you be willing to do that please?" she had no idea that Gen knew how hard this was for her, asking for help.

Gen listened intently to Flame. She nodded at her words as she spoke. "Yes I can do that for you Flame. Just go a bit slower so I can watch you and take notes." Gen said going to her desk and getting a notepad.

She pulled one of her chairs up to Flame and teh cauldron so she could see what she was doing. "Im ready when you are." Gen said pen at the ready,

Flame nodded, agreeing to go slower so notes could be made, because she desperately needed someone else able to make the potion so when she did go mad she wouldn't be completely reliant on someone being able to find her source. Afterall, the scene with her father could have gone worse if Lycs hadn't calmed her down.

Flame took the potion step by step, explaining quantities, the ingredients functions, and the way they were prepared, it was complex, part of it even maing a calming potion before becoming extremely complex. The steps had to be followed precisely- the right amount of ingredients, in the right order at the right time. One mistake, and the whole potion was ruined. She worked hard, ensuring everything was perfect, trying her best to explain her steps. Eventually the potion was finished, it had a beautiful silver colour, smelled of peppermint and steam spiralled entrancingly aboce it. Flame smiled and flicked her wand so the fire was out.

"And that is how you make it." she announced.

((I'd have gone into detail but it would have taken me hours to find potion ingredients and stuff which would work and then write it out.))

Gen took notes after notes after notes. She listened very carefully and watched Flame intently. Gen made sure she wrote down everything perfectly, she knew that potion making was a skill, everythign had to be done perfectly. After the potion was done, gen looked at it and then handed Flame her notes. "I think I wrote it all down right." Gen said.

Gen looked at Flame and said, "Do you need vials or anything?"

Flame smiled more sucessfully this time. "Thankyou professor, but I have some with me, I always come as prepared as I can be." she told her brightly, glancing around the room. She collected a lot of the potion and then sat down. "Do you mind if I stay up here for a while? I wanted to work on something and the common room is rather noisyand people complain in the dorms because of the scartching noiseof the quill. I'll try not to be too long, and I understand if I can't because you have things you need to do..."

Gen smiled. She liked the fact that Flame was ok being in the same room with her. Gen rearranged the room back to normal and said, "Sure! You can stay as long as you want. I have some work to do in here so I wont disturb you." Gen said walking back to her desk and taking a seat.

Flame nodded, and said thanks, feeling self concious with everything being so kind and friendly, for those were two things Flame never was. She talked in riddles, caused trouble, scared people, killed people, but kindness? It was often beyond her. She took a quill from her bag and began to write in what looked like blood red ink, the truth was it was real blood, you could smell it.

Gen went away working on homework grading and the sort. She watched Flame for a short minute. She looked very uncomfortable. Gen didnt know what to do to make her feel more welcome. She brushed this thought off her shoulder and kept working.

"Oh Flae if you need anything, just ask." Said Gen making a lame attempt at being helpful.

Flame smiled at the professor. "Thanks, but hw wuld you wrd a letter to get a potion legalised? I don't want to be getting in trouble for keeping myself under control, you know." she admitted.

Gen thought for a moment. She had never done anything like that before. "Well I guess just be professional and formal. And get right to the point. Ill look over it after you write it if youd like." Gen said.
