Finn was sitting on the grassy hillside, waiting for Gen. He was wearing a Guns and Roses tee shirt that may have been a size too small, but he didn't care as it showed the definition he attained in his abs. He wished more kids were as interested in music as he was. He had picked up the guitar at the beginning of the year and was able to play quite a few songs. He was hoping to either join a band or start his own... He brought his guitar from his hogsmeade cottage and was trying to pick out the notes to his favorite song, "Sweet Child O Mine". It was difficult and didn't sound good as he didn't bring an amp. It was just something to do while he was waiting... He was reminded of a song from a muggle children's show about someone named Mr. Rogers... He liked to sing songs about all kinds of things...

Finn looked up from his slight daydream and was glad to see Gen coming down the hill... He waved his arms to alert her to his presence. She was right on time.

Gen put on a cute pair of jean shorts and a purple tank top with some flip flops. It was hot out today and she wasnt going o dress up. She came over the hill and saw Finn, looking cute as ever, playing his guitar and wearing a guns and roses tee shirt. She came up behind him and tapped his shoulder. He was playing music when she arrived and after tappign on his shoulder, she said, "You play pretty good. Where did you learn?" Gen said curiously sitting on teh grass next to Finn. She reached over and hugged him for a moment and said, "How have you been?"

Finn smiled, "I'm better now that you're here." Truth be told, Finn had an awful week. His mates made fun of him for choosing to be a teacher... Although, if he could fool his friends, he was sure he could fool everyone else... "I'm self taught," He said referring to her comment about his guitar, "I play a few other instruments, but guitar is my new love..." It was odd that he had picked up guitar around the same time he noticed Gen. Music and love seemed to go hand and hand for him. "How have you been since we last met?" Finn asked, taking a gulp of water from his Nalgene.

Gen smiled. "Your so sweet." Gen said. She could tell Finn was a bit stressed out. From school most likely. Gen heard Finn say he was self taught. "Oh thats hard to do! I self taught myself piano, but I could never get used to strings. I tried and failed." Gen said giggling. She listened to Finn play some more. Musice soothed her. She was beginning to feel more calm the longer he played. She then heard him ask her how her week was. "Oh it was alright. A bit stressful with it being the end of the term and all. I have a stack of homework to mark." Gen said having a sigh. She didnt want to even think about the work she had to do.

Finn nodded, he could tell she was coping with stress as well... "We just have to take things one day at a time..." It was an unfortunate part of the year... Homework and finals nearly consumed all of Finn's time. "Since you are my 'career councilor'... I suppose it would be proper if I helped you grade paper? At the very least, it would let us meet during school..." Finn smiled and started picking out the notes to an unwritten song. That was how he lived his life, one note at a time, meticulously selecting note after note... Trying to make the best decision he could.

OOC: Maybe in the future, we could have some kind of plot where Finn catches Gen stepping out on him with Friday?

Gen smiled. "That sounds like an excellent idea." Gen said. She stood up, getting bored of sitting. She walked around a bit and looked at the scenery. Gen loved every bit of it. It wasa gorgeous day. "Isnt it nice out Finn?" Gen said.


OOC: Ok, but it will have to be soon, because Gen and Friday will be hooking up soon and after that, Gen will be officially dating Jeraud Cynster and will not be cheating on him. So seeing Gen with Friday could make him jealous and not want to be with her anymore, so she can be with Jer. Plan sounds good to me.
